I ABSOLUTELY HATE THIS NOTHING BUNDT CAKE LOCATION!! This is the third time that I've come to this location and they have been out of nearly EVERY FLAVOR!! What's the point of having the store open if the product that's supposed to be being sold is NOT AVAILABLE! The customer service is also HORRIBLE here! There is never anyone to greet you and when they do finally come out of the back of the store, the staff act as if they would much rather be anywhere but helping customers. This is for the younger girls who were sitting in their car last week and watching all of us gather around the storefront when the store was supposed to open. Now I wasn't in a terrible hurry, but there was a woman there who had preorder/paid for her daughter birthday cake. This happened last Sunday 12/9/18. That woman had to leave at 11:18 (store was supposed to open at 11). There was at least 6 of us waiting, and while waiting we noticed there was NOTHING in the display fridge. Eventually these two girls got out of their car, LITERALLY PARKED NEXT TO THE CROWD. And sneak into the side entrance. Once inside they hardly had a selection. read more

I had ordered a cake by phone and to be delivered to my friends workplace. They were so kind and patient and also I called about 3 separate time to tweak my order and they were also so good about it. Unfortunately I had to cancel my order and so I emailed them under the proper email, with it being somewhat last minute but still more than 24 hours ahead of the date they were still able to return my money back to me. Love nothing Bundt Cakes BUT..,,I placed an order the morning of the 16th for pick up late afternoon same day. Picked up my order and enjoyed them that night. The morning of the 18tj, I received a message from Mary asking why I didn't pick up my order the 17th. I returned the call, asked to speak with Mary as I was returning her phone call and was placed on hold for about 3 minutes and the gal came back on the line ask what I wanted. I informed her I was returning Mary's call and her response, "Do want to talk to Mary?" Hmmm Mary got on the phone and ask why I didn't pick up my order. Informed her that I placed the order on the morning of the 16th and picked them up around 5pm on the16th. She then told me that she has an online order for the 17th. Again I told her I picked up my order on the 16th. she said that you can't place an order online and pick them up the same day. Told her again I placed the order and picked up the same day. She somewhat argued informing me that is not possible to order online and pick up the same day. Talk to your staff and IT people Mary, because I ordered and picked up the same day. This is late review. Went there last month on January 18, because I found a coupon for buy on get one free for bundtlet Nothing bundt cakes website. Yeah Score!!! =) I thought that I had to drive all the way to Emeryville for bundt cake. Lucky, I saw Nothing Bundt Cake opened at Milbrae, saved me lots trouble driving over the bay bridge. we bought one Red Velvet, Chocolate, lemon, and chocolate turtle.It is perfect size to share for 2 people. My favorite was red velvet and my bf favorite was chocolate. The cakes were nice and moist but there were too much icing. There shop is very cute and cozy. It remind me of high tea places. Snubbed by an older lady working in the back when I asked about Gluten Free Cakes. They don't have any large cakes but only the small bundlet size chocolate chip with gluten free dough. I wanted to ask more if they had egg and milk free cakes but they weren't interested or rather had lack of information. Gave me a paper to read and that was it. Not coming back! read more

Moist and Delicious and the Frosting is amazing. Only drawback is they only sell the cupcake sized ones by the dozen, so it's not a place to go if you only want a little something sweet because their single serving cakes are more like 2 - 3 servings. They do darling decorations for all occassions and you really can't go wrong with any of the varieties or sizes. read more

If you have never been to a Nothing Bundt Cakes before, go now. Don't think about it, just go. They are all so moist and delicious. Their name is quite literal. Expect nothing except bundt cakes. My personal favorite is their chocolate chocolate chips. Their lemon is also quite good, as is their carrot cake. I don't normally like carrot cake but theirs is delicious. The shop has an adorable display of party supplies. Its perfect for picking up a card and cute little gift to go with your bundt. If you like them you can get them for special events as well. We got a two layer bundt for my brother's rehearsal dinner and one for my grandmother-in-law's 80th birthday. I did notice that the top layer has a tendency to slip off so be sure to pick it up the day of your event or make sure that you keep it refrigerated. read more

Carol the owner is very rude. I ordered 14 dozen buntinis and they were all put in a box together, I asked if we could separate them. Her tone and reply was unpleasant. Wasn't offered a bag or help carrying the 14 boxes. She said "Here's your last two" and went straight into the back, without wishing her customer a great day. This is all after pushing the order out an additional hour to accommodate the bakery. I'm very unhappy with the way I was treated. A and I stumbled upon Nothing Bundt Cakes when we tried to go to Costco to get gas, but didn't realize they were closed on Memorial Day. Aww...nuts! Anyway, on our way from Costco to Shanghai Dumpling Shop, we stopped at a gas station directly across the street from Nothing Bundt Cakes. The little sis had brought us bundtinis a while back and we thought they were pretty good, so after we had lunch, we headed back to check out their wares. It is a super cute store with lots of knick knacks and a display case with their different sizes of cakes. They were sampling the Red Velvet today. I tried one and it was super moist and yummy! A and I decided to get two. One for us to share - the Chocolate Chocolate Chip - and one for the little sis (as a thank you for getting us a bundtini last time) - Red Velvet. Super moist and tasty. We buy from this location every couple of weeks. The same for the San Carlos and San Francisco locations. Millbrae seems to have little quality control Here's the uneven tale: The frosting is seems to be missing from the center at least half of the time. The few squiggles of frosting down the sides are reduced in volume and numbers. How do we know this? It's easy to compare to what we get elsewhere. Hey, the frosting is just as important as the cake. It's clear that the Millbrae store is charging extra for what is basic to other locations. It would be a nice surprise if the blueberry and the lemon bundlets tasted rich in their flavor labels. read more

When the store first opened we purchased a Chocolate Rasberry bundt cake and a dozen assorted mini-bundlets. The Bundt cake and bundlets were super moist and melted in your mouth. I could of eaten it all by myself without my co-workers. Lisa helped me today with my two bundlets. I really enjoyed Red Velvet, Chocolate Turtle, Pecan Praline, Chocolate Chocolate, Lemon, etc. Okay, basically all the flavors. The store is very cute and cozy. They share their parking with H&R Block and also there is street parking. Nothing Bundt Cake will be my new break hangout. They do not sell coffee or tea so you will need to stop by Caffe Roma's or Starbuck's across the street for your drinks. read more

I was gifted a lemon bundt as a going away gift from one of my clients! She gave it to me in a little box before I drove home, and it was definitely almost gone by the time I pulled into my driveway. The cake is incredibly moist and the cream cheese frosting was creamy and flavorful. The lemon flavor was not overpowering either. These little cakes are a great size for small gifts and they're simply delicious. As an avid treat consumer, I'll say you can tell these cakes are made with some love. Very poor customer service. My boyfriend and I are out of town and just happened to drive past this place. We walked into a empty store and were greeted with a hello from a young woman with dark short hair. Hello was the only thing she said actually. I came in, said hello this is our first time here....she said nothing. My boyfriend and I then awkwardly figured out what we wanted and then proceeded to check out only to be disappointed because we then realized there were other options we didn't even know about because there was no suggestions , "this is what we have" nothing. I'm actually really shocked with my visit at bundt cakes today. At 12noon today 10/2, I walk in lady at register greets me and I say my hello, I look down at the glass shelf and it's literally empty with only a couple of vanilla and spice bundts left so I ask is there any chocolate chip and with the most rudest tone and eye rolling I got "whatever you see is whatever we have" so I looked at her and said thank you and left. As I sat in my car I saw people go in and actually walk out with bundt cakes and what do you know chocolate chip ones too, so I go back in and there's tons of chocolate chip all of a sudden so still my polite self asked the same lady how did you just get these and with the same eye rolling and angry tone "we are short staffed and they just came out" but all you had to do was just go in the back and see if there was any when I had walked in literally 6 min ago. Smh!! I understand we are in a pandemic but if your not happy with helping customers maybe this isn't the place to be as I absolutely love bundt cakes and always am happy to be in here! read more

I'm a loyalist to their San Carlos location; however, most of my friends in SF haven't heard of Nothing Bundt Cakes so now I shop at the Millbrae location on my way to SF so I can bring my friends some of this amazing, circular goodness. My favorite flavors are the Pecan Prailine, Marble, Lemon, and the Pineapple Upside Down (seasonal). I also really like the staff - they take last minute custom orders and are always super helpful whether I'm picking up 100 bundtinis for an event or a couple of cakes for a celebration. They also do a lot for charity especially PartyChild.org, my preferred charity. read more

Not a big fan of this location. Snotty attitude the moment I stepped inside the store. The girls look like they don't want to be there and laugh at customers who are struggling to open the door. Such a cute little store. They have a small lot that they share with other stores in that little strip. Their cakes are amazingly moist and delicious. The frosting is thick and plenty of it. I ordered a dozen of bundtinis for a birthday and it was perfect. 4 marble (birthday girl's favorite) 2 lemon (husband's favorite - he doesn't even like cake) 2 red velvet 4 strawberries & cream (a featured flavor of the month and my personal favorite) I picked it up around 5pm and it sat in my car until 7pm. Love these cakes! The store is so cute! Love all the little knick knacks to buy. I could spend a lot here, but I'm usually going for the bundts! These are great for birthdays or any special event! My sister used one of the bundt-tinis for my nephews first birthday treat. So much better than a messy frosting filled cake! They taste unbelievably good, from the classic cream cheese frosting to all the delicious flavors! Lemon is one of the best! I'm so glad this location is close to home!! The San Carlos location was the closest store to my home before the Millbrae location opened. The bundt cakes are moist & delicious. My go-to favorites are 1)lemon, 2)red velvet, and 3)chocolate chocolate chip. Their website lists all of their flavors, and the sizes in which they come in. You can also place an order online for pick-up too. My only complaint is that the parking area is very small, and street parking can be difficult, especially if you go after 530-6pm. Overall though, Id recommend their delicious bundt cakes despite their parking dilemna. read more

My stars are based on customer service. customer service and greetings when coming in could be better. specially the young Asian girl who is Working today at the front (I came In at 2pm) my receipt says Tiffany (not sure if That's her) when I came in she said hi and Said they have samples but when I asked her questions she had a face of not wanting to answer my questions, I asked about the carrot bundt if she's had it and what she thought her answers were very short and had a face and tone like she wasn't trying to talk. After I paid I asked if they still gave folks out cuz I bought the little bundt cakes and she looked at me and said um a stood there like it was a probably for her to grab them, she did anyways. After she put them in the bag she didn't fold the bag and put the sticker. I might sound annoying for expecting that, but no matter what bundt cake place I go to, they always fold my bag and put the sticker without me asking. Stopped by yesterday on my way to Drs. office...what a find! I'm forever telling my friend that if you want to start a business like a bakery, cafe, etc., that you should have a limited menu. Do one thing and do it well. Nothing Bundt Cakes is a prime example! Nothing but great tasting Bundt cakes for every occasion. They were sampling the Confetti cake and it was very light-textured and simple with a buttercream cream cheese frosting that tasted just like homemade. Butter, milk, cream cheese, etc. Simple yet wonderfully rich ingredients made for an excemplary Bundt cake. That's all they do except for the specialty aprons hanging around in the shop. VG cakes, but I've noticed a pattern in this store. On many occasions the checker does not hand back your receipt. Today (again), I had to ask for it. Sure enough, there was a free cake (at next purchase). The checker already knew there was a free cake coming for next time, but did not hand the receipt to me.
