I dined in and had the Fuchka, Chicken Tikka Masala, and the Chicken Tandoori grill which came with rice. The lady working there was really nice and taught me how to eat the Fuchka since I've never had it before. Also a big plus that she brought out a whole water pitcher for 2 people. If you've also never tried it, the Fuchka was so crispy, cooling, and semi-spicy. It was like biting into a spherical taco, but I forget what the filling was made from. Super yummy! The chicken tikka masala is a staple for me and they killed it! Even though the portions look small in the pictures I was full after eating half of it. The tandoori was amazing too. It's unfortunate this restaurant opened in the midst of the Coronavirus closures because it's so huge with a huge tv that I want to dine here :/. But on the bright side it's great to see that in the midst of all the closures, that there is a new local halal restaurant that was able to open up. The food is really good. The veggie samosas were filled with fresh & delicious veggies, they came with 2 sauces and each sauce elevated the samosas even more if that's even possible. Next up, the Chicken Tikka Masala... this masala was a GRAND SLAM! The sauce was not sweet, it was tasted authentic,and delicious and was filled with big chunks of chicken, lots of chicken it's served with rice and as simple as white rice may seem it's not, this rice was fluffy, and was not bland at all. Rice so good it can stand on its own. I also ordered the Chicken Briyani, and that was soooooo good... I'm a fan of all dishes with chicken and rice, and I've had lots of Briyani but this one was a mountain of flavor and tasted like a hug. And the NAAN, it was hard to decide but I went with the cheese naan and I'm not disappointed at all! Perfect crunchy complement to the fried chicken. The biriyani was yum but man... talk about huge i feel like i ate a whole portion by myself and yet 90% of the rice remains. Not complaining but damn! Rice pudding was sooo delicious. I think im getting old but i cant eat desserts that are too sweet now. This was the perfect balance of sweet and savory! So we decided to drive 35 miles from Phillips Ranch to try out their fried chicken which is halal plus their own special spices as we had heard. I ordered a 3 piece fried chicken spicy which came as a breast, wing and thigh. Ordered a chicken salad. Chicken tenders 3 piece and 4 piece tandoori chicken along with mac n cheese. To be completely honest... none of the things we ordered had anything negative we could find or point out. The fried chicken was spiced and fried to near perfection. The tenders were huge and super crispy and tasty. The salad was fresh and the chicken was nice and tender. The mac n cheese was real cheese and tasted far better than the KFC mac n cheese or the one at Popeye's. The only thing I could say is on the tandoor chicken order it spicy unless you can't handle any spices even mild spice. Great place hole in the wall and once things start moving again I definitely see this place rocking even more. Going there again today to take my brother to try the fried chicken as we have been travelling all over so cal and bay area to try and find halal fried chicken that is super good quality as well.
