We hired NuFlow for a sewer lining project at a cost of ~$28,000. House was built in 1969 with cast iron pipe. They acknowledged that they were not the cheapest service in town, but they positioned themselves as a premium provider with superior service. Unfortunately, our experience did not match that claim. While pulling the final lining, it got pulled free and became lodged in the sewer line, permanently blocking the line. How did we find this out? Well, several additional trucks and people started showing up at the house with 'serious looks'. Our GC for our ongoing remodel said "you might have a problem." We did. And at this point, things started going sideways, and the process became pretty intense. The fix required sawcutting our interior floors and removing exterior pavers so a new line could be installed out to the mainline in our front yard. NuFlow did address the issue at no additional cost. However, the situation caused significant disruption to our home, delays to other contractors, and quite a mess. Protection measures during sawcutting were minimal, and the front of our house and windows were covered in concrete dust, all the way to the roof line. They had plastic 'draped' on the front of the house, but as they cut into our stem wall, the blade blew the concrete dust up behind the plastic. When they pulled the plastic down and saw the mess, they started to use a field broom to wipe down the windows and screen until we said that might not be a good idea. NuFlow sent cleaners, and agreed to reimburse $800 for paver repairs. The cleaners came without proper equipment, so ended up borrowing our cleaning equipment. And, they damaged our window screen frames. Maybe this sounds petty? Based on the response below, it must have seemed that way to NuFlow. When submitting our invoice for the paver repairs, we mentioned the issues with the cleaners and let them know about the screens ($60 replacement). Our contact at NuFlow let us know "It seems that nothing we do at that property is up to snuff." and "We are hearing different things from different parties so we are trying to get everything straight." (direct quote). Since then, communication has broken down completely. Despite multiple emails, texts, and calls over the course of more than 6 weeks since our last contact, we have received no follow-up or reimbursement for paver repairs. At this point, it's not about the dollar amount. It's about accountability and follow-through. For a company that markets itself as a high-end provider, the lack of responsiveness after the job was completed is disappointing. If you're considering NuFlow, I would strongly encourage you to evaluate not just the sales process, but how they handle issues after the work is done. Referred to Nu Flow account manager Hayden Grant (by a reputable plumbing contractor I had used many times here in Mesa, AZ) for help with a failing sewer line under the concrete slab of a 1950's vintage residence. Hayden met me the following morning on site where we did a quick interior walk through of the residence. After discussing several options we decided that relining certain sections of the cast iron pipe was the correct AND most cost effective option. Hayden then thoroughly inspected all of the drain lines in the home with an inline camera, prepared a diagram of the existing lines and a quote with multiple options to consider...that same day! He was thorough, friendly, knowledgeable about his products/procedures and made several time saving suggestions. That was the 5 star performance. I am now going to contract with Nu Flow of Phoenix and will report back when the work is completed. Upon completion...I will honestly report on the "quality & value" portion of this review. As we were in the process of buying our new home, our realtor hired NuFlo to inspect our sewer lines and run a scope, to make sure there were no root issues (our last house had tree roots growing into the pipes and it cost us a fortune to repair/replace all of the pipes). NuFlo came out and performed an inspection. They gave us the go ahead- said everything looked great. We went ahead and finished our purchase. A little while after we moved in, all the pipes backed up. We called NuFlo and told them they assured us everything was ok. This time, they did not take any responsibility for giving us WRONG information. They would not work with us on a solution at all. We spoke with our attorney who told us we can't sue them, because they were hired by our realtor, not by us. So- here were are again with the same problem. It's about 10-15k to fix. I am so impressed with this company. It is very clear that they do exceptional work because of the quality of the people they have working for them. I have an old ranch home with cast iron drain line. We had a breakage before so I knew the line was failing. I wanted to reline before it got out of hand and I was forced to replace. Toby was our rep who came out to run the camera and provide an estimate. He was very professional And explained everything to me. I was shocked when he arrived on the first day to get the crew started and maintained communication with me throughout the project. We had some unforeseen conditions, which was no surprise to us given the history of this house. We needed a small portion of the line replaced before it could be relined, which I didn't know they could do. But they can do it! And, they do it right. I have lost count as to how many crew members were here over the course of the project, but I can tell you that each one of them was professional, clean, skilled, and willing to learn. I watched how the more experienced guys worked with the newer kids to teach them the process. And, how the newer guys took it all in. Slow and steady wins the race for NuFlow. They took their time to make sure everything was done right the first time. There was never any rushing to finish, even though there were some long days. They cleaned up at the end of every day and ensured my house stayed as normal as possible over the course of the project. When all was done they even talked to me about caring for my pretty new blue pipes and sent me the before and after videos. I found Nuflow after their competitor, who is "NuFlow Certified" ghosted me after providing an estimate. I went to directly to NuFlow for additional contractors in the Phx area. Ralph and his team came out to do my lines and at first thought he was very professional. Apart from being messy and dealing with some damage the workers had caused I would work with him again and planned to do so for a bathroom that they had already gutted In order to replace the line. Unfortunately, I am writing this review because of the lack of responsiveness and complete unprofessionalism when it comes to communication. As an existing client I was completely ignored when I had asked for Ralph to come back and help move a drain line for my bathroom. I have yet to get any response to multiple inquiries. I understand if you are at capacity but you can at least have the courtesy to respond or acknowledge in communication. It is incredibly disappointing the way I have been treated and hope their poor communication reflects in their ability to get new business. I very much recommend not going with them. read more

Hayden did a scope and found a slow emptying pipe, no cracks or tree root invasion which we had been told by another company. I have cast iron pipes in my house and I decided to go with Nu Flow for convenience as I didn't want to tear apart my house to replace the pipes. On 5/10/2019, I spent over $17,000 to have ALL the pipes in my house lined with their product. On 6/6/2020, ALL of my lined pipes had to be ripped out and completely replaced. I was hoping to at least get 10 years out of this product. I got 13 months. There are areas that are completely unlined. They lined over tree roots. The product completely disintegrated in areas where the water flows. There are holes in the pipes that they just decided not to line over. I have attached pictures of this. I have also attached a picture of a sample product they give to you during the "selling process" next to a piece of my lined pipe that was taken out. There is a big difference in the width of the lining. They take videos of the pipes before and after they are lined and give you these videos. I went back to review my videos and come to find out they never gave me my "after lining" video of the main line. This happens to be the line with holes and tree roots in it. I checked the "before lining" video of my main line and I do not see a tree root. This does not mean anything to me as they simply could have taken video of half of the line and I wouldn't have known the difference. I would take their videos with skepticism. It is unlikely the tree roots grew into the pipes after they were lined and in a matter of 13 months. The liner is not flexible. It is hard, brittle, and you can break it with your bare hands. If a tree root grew into the pipes after they were lined, the liner would have cracked not bowed out like you see in the picture. They will tell you all day long that the product has a lifetime warranty. However, when you get the warranty contract it's a 10-year limited warranty against failures and defects. Based on the condition of my pipes they should have been replaced not lined. I would have replaced them if I knew what kind of condition they were actually in. However, they wanted to sell their product regardless of how bad my pipes were. read more

My experience with Nu Flow Phoenix is indeed "as good as it gets". I had a sewer main clog up and cause some flooding in my home. I had another company come to snake the line, then inspect it with a camera. Afterward this other company hydro-jetted it then inspected it with a camera again. To make a long story short, this other company concluded the entire sewer main needed replaced which would include digging through the floor of my home and driving me to a hotel for a week or two. After more research on plumbing companies I found Nu Flow and asked for a second opinion and very happy I did. Toby King responded to my request very quickly, was informative, professional and clear. The equipment he had for the inspection was much better than the other company. I received a report and copies of the videos clearly documenting the issues and showing me they were manageable without having to spend $32,000 for repairs. Nu Flow are now my go to pluming experts. I've tried 4 separate times to get Nu Flow to come out and assess the need for my rentals to have the sewer lines sleeved but all I ever hear is the office manager tell me she's gonna have someone call me back, then no one does. Thank you to all of the employees at Nu Flow for re-piping our house in Sun City, AZ. Everyone of the people who worked on our house were very professional. Justin took videos of the pipe condition of all the pipes under the house and then met with us a few days later. He reviewed the videos with us and explained the process and was very thorough. We decided to use Nu Flow because of their method of re-piping saved us from having the inside of our house torn up with trenches and kitchen cabinets removed and also the fact that we were able to stay in the house overnight with all facilities usable. We only had to be out of the house during the day for 4 days (and that was because of the Covid-19). As I was saying everyone who worked on this job were professional, the guys who installed the new clean outs in the front yard, the guys who did the actual re-piping were excellent and very neat. I have an "old" block home (built 1972) and have had "plumbing" problems off and on for about 5 years since I purchased it. My pipes were disintegrating and full of roots and in really bad shape (more oblong and elongated, rather than round). I went to the Home Show and stopped to talk to the Nu Flow team. They have a very unique technique for fixing old pipes without having to drill into your flooring and/or slab. They spent a week at my home doing their "magic" and so far everything is working as expected. And with a 10 year warranty, I should be worry free for awhile. My dad had a water leak that was quite involved and required the professionalism of NuFlow to fix the problem. NuFlow completed the work in a timely and productive fashion. The company took pictures and documented the progress being made. My dad and I called the company back to look at another problem that we thought were connected to the original problem.
