It's a decent sized restaurant with low lights but clean and comfortable . Scanned the menu with QR Code on our phones. The wait help brought us water and drinks that we requested quickly. He gave us time to review their menu. After ordering our appetizers--takomiyaki and gyoza as well as our choices of ramen, the food came out quickly. The appetizers were tasty and enjoyed by all. We popped over to Fremont to check out the new Aslan Brewing tasting room (you need to go!) and were in the mood for something hot to eat. I looked on Yelp for "noodles" and, voila, found Nuna Ramen just a couple blocks away. They were a little busy on a Friday evening, but we were seated immediately and soon enjoying a hot sake while we waited for our ramen. I ordered the pork ramen and the dude ordered vegetarian. I was impressed at their vegan/veg options although I wasn't in a meatless mood on this visit. My pork ramen was divine - perfectly seasoned and full of rich noodly goodness. Gluten free noodles in ultra delicious pork broth. All for $14! This place is a gem. The ingredients are quality. You can add extra sides (I added bok choy, not pictured), the egg was cooked to perfection, the pork tender and tasty, with plenty of rice noodles that were not soggy at all. One of the more popular ramen places in the Fremont area. We got the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen, a perfect meal for the Seattle winters. Overall I would say the Ramen was decent and the broth tasted okay, the pork was probably the most flavorful ingredient in the ramen. We also got the Chicken Karaage appetizer, would actually recommended this! The deep fried chicken thighs were seasoned well and served with a tasty dip (kinda like a spicy mayo). The service was a bit slow and the place was relatively crowded for 4PM on a Sunday. One thing definitely missing on the menu is a dessert section, especially after devouring spicy ramen. On June 21,2023 I ordered the Nina ramen and edamame. I added extra meat and bokchoy. I have ordered from this place before as we live closed by. I don't know what happened but the quality of the food went down. The pork was 90%fat and 10%meat. Even if ordered extra meat , we didn't get extra. The bokchoy not as good as before it was more soggy. The edamame was good and for this reason I'm not giving 1 star. Will not recommend Nina Ramen again. Not the most authentic, but very tasty vegetarian ramen that can be made vegan. I visited here on a Saturday afternoon at 2pm for a late lunch. I ordered their vegetable tofu ramen ($15 plus tax), which can be made vegan by subbing out the ramen noodles (which have egg) for thin rice noodles that are actually very fitting for the ramen. The ramen came out in about 10 minutes. You get a generous portion of noodles, along with fried tofu, and a lot of mixed veggies (broccoli, cabbage, bok choy, carrot and bean sprouts). The broth is on the salty and spicy side, but has some nice flavour depth; it almost seems a tad tomatoey / citrusy, which adds a nice dimension. Quick, informative service and reasonably priced. Don't order the pork bao, it is not worth it. The bum was super hard to chew and cold. I feel like they just bought it from a store and put it in the fridge. In combination of the pork, it just made it super hard to eat together. as a result I just took out the meat and ate it separately but this shouldn't be the case for pork bao. However their meat tasted great ,just a little dry. Moving to the ramen, I really like the noodle and the char siu in the ramen. Especially the char siu, it was so tender and juicy. Man I just love what they did with jt, amazing job cooking the meat. The only down side of the ramen is their broth. I don't think they handle the broth very well. Came here bsed on recommendations from close friends who raved about this place! Overall: large portions, amazing service, no extra charges for additional add-ons. First, the bad news: we ordered thai iced tea & I think they accidentally put orange soda in it?!? It was really fizzy and NOT like a normal Thai iced tea. But they substituted it with a Vietnamese coffee free of charge (my bf & I both got one). It was pretty decent. We saw our friends getting the agedashi tofu, and had to order it as well. It comes out fried, sitting in a bed of some kind of soy broth. Advantage of eating immediately: the tofu is crispy, but hasn't absorbed the broth. Advantage of eating at home: may be a bit soggy, but MUCH more flavorful. The ramen broth (for both the spicy tonkatsu & miso tonkatsu) was very tasty, especially after having added the minced garlic and garlic oil. The portion size is also pretty huge. The pieces of pork are a good thickness. My one sadness is the boiled egg. It looks like ajitama... until you actually bite into it and it's basically just a hard-boiled egg. Since ajitama is one of my favorite things about ramen, it was very disappointing. Now the best part about the (dine in) experience: the service. It seemed like there was just one server. I didn't even catch his name - but he was amazing! Very prompt, and accomodating. When e pointed out the Thai iced tea was very strange, he took care of it immediately. He answered our questions about the menu, provided the additional garlic, packed our leftovers (in separate containers, and LABLED them!) And best yet, he didn't charge us for any add-ons, unlike some ramen establishments, which charge for every single topping (looking at you, Ramen Danbo!) Not even the extra soup broth. Oh, and he was kind enough to adjust the aircon since we were sitting right in front of it. Would probably come again, but might make my own ajitama and bring it there. Lol. read more

I ordered Shio Ramen online but was not what was ordered. Chicken broth but with Pork, no kikurage, no raddish, 2 pieces of pork (mostly fat), broth was cold and order totaled $25.50 (with a tip). When I called to inform the restaurant that wasn't what I ordered, the man told me that no longer comes with kikurage and that I needed to indicate Chicken and not pork. The site lets you ADD but not choose. He gave no response on lack of veggies and tiny pieces of meat. He admitted that the menu on the site is wrong. He offered no solution. So, website is incorrect. I enjoyed everything my family (me, wife and 2 kids) has had during today's lunch visit. My absolute favorite is their 'Nuna Ramen' that comes with variety veggies and kimchi to spicy up a little.
