Pleasant, lovely, and friendly service from start to finish. The ambiance is warm and inviting--an easy, cozy spot where you don't need to overdress. You can come in a hoodie, feel comfortable, and just enjoy really good food. The only problem here is parking. Hard to find it. I got lucky and found something near by 2 blocks away. Food is tasty and decent portions A great place to relax, eat well, and feel at ease.
Cozy Thai restaurant with a romantic, dim setting. Great for date night on a weekday or weekend. We ordered a Thai iced tea, which I felt could've been a bit bolder, and a dynamite shrimp that could've had more filling, but the pad se ew, Massaman short rib and crispy duck salad were delicious! Service was great too!
My friends and I went to Nur Thai for dinner. The restaurant layout was nice, there were tables in the front, a counter area in the middle (used for drinks and checkout), and more seating in the back, which made the space feel open yet cozy. We started with the mango salad to share, and it was fresh and nicely spicy, probably one of the better dishes of the night. I also ordered a Thai iced tea, which came with whipped cream on top. It tasted good, but when I tried to mix the tea, milk, and cream, it made a mess. For mains, we had the chicken pad see ew, which was okay but very basic and more watery than I expected. The chicken pad kee mao and the tofu pineapple fried rice were also pretty standard, not bad, but nothing that stood out. The khao soi was the most underwhelming dish of the night; it didn't have the rich, layered flavor that we usually associate with that dish. We all felt that the pricing was too high for the quality of the food. That said, the staff was friendly and attentive, and they were trying to give us the best experience possible, which we appreciated. The space itself was thoughtfully laid out and had a comfortable vibe, but based on the food alone, I'm not sure I'd come back.
Pros: + Great for teetotalers - However, I really do wish they served alcohol here + Decent vegetarian options + Generous portion of protein to carb ratio in dishes + Gorgeous interior Cons: - Slow service - Overpriced Mocktails - TBH, they are very gimmicky because of the dry ice. While I would have been happy to pay $6-8 for one, most range $12+. I would have loved it if the flavor profile of mine was more complex. First time trying this place since I moved to Queens. Decided to try it since I was hungry as it was late. This place is very cozy and really nice. Finding room seating and music playing. I ordered takeout. The food is very good. A little pricey but what is not these days. I ordered the spicy basil chicken and firecracker shrimp. I will be coming back.
None of my family members had ever been here before, yet they were able to accommodate 19 people here after a wake service and although it was a last minute decision to come here, we were not disappointed!! The Thai food was incredible!!! So flavorful and I loved all the creative ways they displayed the foods! The service we also great. The only downside of the place is the fact that they don't serve any alcoholic drinks, but their mocktails were delicious!
Stumbled upon this place on a Saturday afternoon and it was surprisingly empty! The ambiance and decor is nice. The food was delicious, the noodles here might actually be the best noodles I've had at a Thai restaurant before. The texture was so smooth and the noodles were also thin! Great portion size as well - I only was able to finish half my noodles and took the rest to go
I can finally take this off my bookmark. I've been to their sister restaurant in Astoria, so I wanted to check this one out. However, the staff wasn't as friendly or welcoming. It wasn't decorated like the one in Astoria either. I wasn't impressed. There was a musty odor once you entered the restaurant, too. It turned me off a bit. I looked through the menu and decided to get the Kao soy, which was recommended by the waitress. I didn't particularly enjoy it, and I had to rush home to use the restroom as my stomach was hurting the next day after it hurt again. I did try a bit of the brown sugar bubble tea, which was very sweet. All in all, I was not impressed. I won't be back.
Came with a group of 5 for lunch and had a good experience overall. The food was tasty and it came out pretty fast. We got the thai chicken wings and it was pretty good. It comes with five pieces. For entree, I got chicken pad see ew and they were able to accommodate my nut allergy to ensure no cross contamination. The ambiance isn't all too special and there is only one bathroom. My other friends said their entrees were yummy (green curry, tom yum, etc) including the thai iced tea. I wouldn't mind dining back here but probably wouldn't go out of my way to come.
This is our second time here! We enjoyed the service but my food was cold. I didn't complain but I think they were waiting for my son's food while mine was ready and waiting . My family and I plan on returning on another night we go to the movies near by. The service is grand! I really can't complain.
Came here for late lunch with the family. It was a surprisingly chilly Spring Sunday so I was looking for soup to eat. Ordered the seafood tom yum soup (family size) and the broth was a hit. What surprised me the most though is they did not skimp on the seafood - there were multiple large sized shrimp, squid, mussels and mushrooms! Me & my husband are usually the soup drinkers but this is the first time even my kids had big portions of the soup! We also ordered 2 pad thai - one with shrimp, and the other with chicken. Oh, and also got the Thai fried rice with chicken. All the utems we ordered were big and definitely good for sharing. We went home with doggie bags (no need to think of dinner! LOL). I ALMOST forgot (how could I?!?!). I LOVE pad gra pow and always order it whenever I see it in a menu. I prefer it with crispy pork but since they are Halal, I had to get the ground beef. It was sooooo good! (Would be better if it was crispy pork, but its an acceptable replacement). The base sauce is sooooo addicting! I had to stop myself from finishing the entire thing because portion is big! The ambiance is casual. They have a bar but serve mocktails and non-alcoholic beverages sonce this place offers Halal eats. Staff were friendly and accommodating. They were quick to respond and prompt in clearing out our table. Overall a good place to go and we qill definitely come back!
Ambiance (5/5): The inside was beautifully decorated! It is perhaps a little too dimmly lit with small table lamps for ambiance mood lighting. However, it was a nice quiet dining experience. There is a bar in the middle and the bathroom is located down the stairs. Service (5/5): We dined at 9pm and were actually one of 4 tables during this late hour. At around 9:30pm they did last call for food. Due to the few patrons, we received great service. My one critique was that our server was too forceful in providing menu suggestions that it felt like it was too long and intruded on our dining experience. She did so very politely but it was too much. Food (5/5): Zesty Calamari (5/5): Not extremely breaded but the seasoning was delicious. The mango sauce was unique a provided a nice flavor to each bite. I will it came with a side to drown my calamari into! Massaman Curry (5/5): I absolutely loved my curry dish! The presentation was beautiful with fresh pieces of herbs (rosemary, flower for visual appeal). The curry was very rich and packed with flavorful spices. The chicken bites were tender. I thought there was a similar depth of flavor in the Eggplant Curry too. The side of rice is an extra $2. All the drinks menu are mocktails. Since the establishment is halal, there is no alcohol served! The mocktails all sounded delicious but was pretty expensive ($12+). If they were like $6, I would have definitely had a few to try.
Ordered some items for delivery and it was fine. I usually order my food spicy and everything we ordered this time was mild. It could also be time sensitive which made it not piping hot. The papaya salad, I wouldn't order again. The shrimp spring roll was good. The basil fried rice needs more flavor to it too. Overall, it could possibly be because it was cooled down.

Visit in NY was overdue due to COVID-19. I decided to have a unexpected tour there. The flight was delayed . I reached New York at late afternoon. I was in a mood for something different. One of my friend in NY recommended this restaurant and Without any hesitation I decided to go there . It was almost full but took little time to find a table. I have to admit, the service was relatively fast and taste was great. I had tom yum soup Basil fried rice and whole fried fish. The flavor of Tom yum soup was great. The basil fried rice was tasty. I like the whole fried fish , but love to have option for steamed fish. I had great time with my friends. I like to come back in future. read more

This is the teacher of Thai food! This is officially one of my favorite Thai restaurants! So the food was delicious. We ordered the Massaman Curry and Pad See Ew. Both were delicious and I would've been perfectly okay if that's where the magic stopped.......but they took it another step further! They make the most PERFECT Thai ice tea I ever had in my LIFE aside from when I go to Thai shops in Williamsburg. I don't even make it this good at home! I was super blown away by this because I haven't had such an incredible Thai ice tea in long time and I had been CRAZY craving it. Thank you so much for making it super strong and flavorful! Like WOW! If you love Thai ice tea, you must RUN to get some it's sooooooooo good! Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant and am almost proud in a sense to leave this glowing review. One of the best Thai spots in Queens!! Located in Woodside close to Queens Center Mall. This place serves up Halal Authentic Thai Food ! We started with the Wings and Phuket Sampler, it was good portioned and enough for 2 people's. Moved on the entree and I had the Bangkok Steak . It's was so juicy and cooked medium rare . Friend who's is a Halal eater , was so pleased with her Spicy Basil Rice. Ended the dinner with Mango Sticky Rice !! It's a must try dessert . Went for lunch on a Sunday. The food was all prepared very well and I seriously enjoyed the shrimp pad see-ew. We ordered the veggie pad Thai and that was really good too. We ordered spring rolls & a mango salad. The spring rolls were fried to perfection but we didn't get the mango salad until I asked about it when our entrees were brought to us. I really didn't want it at that point, but I was curious how it tasted and it looked very nice. So, I ate a few bites. It was very good too. The staff was pleasant and the atmosphere was too. Nothing blew me away, but it is definitely a solid place for Thai food. read more

Great service. Amazing lunch deal. It's HALAL! Absolutely love the brown sugar milkshake (I totally forgot the name--might be the brown sugar supreme--I also think it's limited time only, not sure) I've had it twice and the second time they didn't have the brown sugar ice cream bar that it comes with so they gave me 15% off. I think it might have been the tiger sugar company's bar or something of the sort so if you've had it before and they don't have it in stock, just get it and take the discount. But if you've never tried the ice cream bar, I would say just get it when they do have it in stock because it makes the experience so much more enjoyable. It's LOADED with boba (which is a boba lovers dream--I just don't happen to like boba so the second time I went I requested without). It's really delicious. Highly recommend. This was my first time having crab Rangoon and fried dumplings and I loved both. I think the crab Rangoon barley had any crab in it though because I could barely taste it. For me that was good because I don't like seafood aside from fish but for crab lovers you might be let down. I also had the green curry and the spice level was fantastic! The plating was also stunning. It comes with rice and salad which is drenched in a peanut based sauce. That was maybe 8 bucks because of the lunch special and a total steal. I'd definitely come back (I mean I have)! And for those that say this place is too expensive, you're missing out on the lunch special! read more
Went to Nur Thai last night for the first time and overall it was a good experience. I didn't realize you had to make reservations for inside seating so when we got there we ended up having to sit outside. It was a bit dark and a little chilly. Service was fast and attentive. Food was delicious. We got a variety of drinks, each had their own unique flavors. Appetizers were good especially the wings. For food we got chicken pad thai, chicken drunken noodles, undon noodles and also the sizzling lamb with a side of rice. Each dish was good and had the perfect amount of spice. For dessert we got the lava cake with ice cream however there was no "lava" inside, basically a muffin lol Overall i'd come here again, maybe just for a special occasion. 8.5/10 read more

The inside decorate was none (they done up the outside to attract customers but what about the interior - it was nicer inside years ago pre pandemic) the service was slow - we got seated but no menu or water was given to us till some came over to take our order and we're like we haven't gotten the menu (it's not like they had a QR code for us to scan). However, the dishes came out fast, the dishes were not spaced out properly, we didn't finish any of our appetizers and our entrees came out right after leaving no table space so we had to consolidate dishes. The dishes were eh ok, I've had better tasting Thai food. The steamed dumpling sampler was bland. I specifically told the waiter twice medium rare on the rack of lamb but it was over cooked. The calamari was left in the frying oil too long. But the mango salad was yum. read more
Outdoor seating available. Best halal thai food in new york. The staff is incredibly friendly and the flavors/presentations are amazing. The biggest surprise was how good the burger was, fat, juicy, and the peanut sauce compliments it perfectly. We also had lollypop chicken, steamed dumplings, shrimp fried rice, and Ka-Soy which is bbq chicken, egg noodle, and bok choy in a delicious broth. The chicken melted off the bones. I can't wait until indoor seating is available again as sitting next to car exhaust isnt my favorite thing in the world but this place is definitely worth it! read more

Lunch on a sweltering Thursday afternoon on Woodhaven Boulevard was certainly a challenge. However, it was not going to prevent me from attaining a good entree of shrimp Pad Thai. The portion was quite small. A small side salad with ginger dressing is included in the lunch special. Customer service is mediocre with a melancholy tone. The staff appears disgruntled as if employee morale plateaued. My male server Fardan appeared extremely melancholy. It was not busy nor overall crowded. The Pad Thai lunch special $8 (add shrimp $1) was average but nothing extraordinary out of the ordinary to be affixed with extreme awe. No alcohol. A beautiful spot in Queens that has some really delicious food. I stumbled upon this place while driving thru this area and decided to check in. I came with my family of 7 and we had a adequate seating and friendly service. I ordered steak and and we tried a couple of other delicious dishes and mine came with a flower that you can eat and my nieces wanted one and the waiter was kind enough to give them even tho it didn't come with their meal. Prices are fair with what you get and the food was well cooked and fresh and wait times was average. I have came here a couple of times and each time was just as good as the first time. I truly recommend you check this spot out. read more
Drunken noodles here are killer! Highly recommended. This would be the rare occasion I would pass on the pad Thai and opt for the drunken noodles. So much flavor packed into a simple noodle dish. The fried chicken wings, spring rolls and papaya salad are what you expect at a Thai spot. Thanks to Yelp I had the frozen Thai iced tea, delicious but could've used a little more ice and blending. Bottom line, get the drunken noodles whether it's dine in or take out, you won't be disappointed! read more
One of my fave Halal thai spots! Lunch specials are amazing. Had the firecracker shrimp, chicken drunken noodles, thai fried rice and red curry. Food is always on point and their mojitos are absolutely delicious! A perfect spot to catch up with friends, I like going earlier- gets really packed at nighttime. read more

Ive been coming here for some time but i hadn't been back since they remodeled. We came today for lunch and every single plate was great . The vibe is so much better there's more light.Karina our waitress was lovely and very attentive. We ordered the curry rib eye,crab ragoon,chicken patay , and beef drunken noodles.Every dish we had was great and thats not easy to say in NY sometimes theres one or two things you dont enjoy but not here.Will come back for sure. read more

I would give it a 4.5 star if I could. Went there with a group of 5 and the service was really good, the food came out quickly too! I liked everything but there was nothing really special or exceptional about it. Also the AC didn't feel like it was working, it was so hot inside, we ate quickly so we can leave cause we were sweating Definitely worth the price- would go again but on a cooler day or at night. read more

Probably the best Thai in this area. Very hard to find great Thai near Richmond Hill that isn't fully in Astoria. The flavors here are rich! The place fills up fast so probably best to make reservations and get there on time. The Royal Snapper with sweet and sour sauce was out of this world. I always judge a spot by their Basil Fried Rice and this place passed with flying colors. You should definitely visit or order in. Yum! *I would've given another star but we had a few hiccups with our visit. Nothing major but so many people come to assist you that orders and details can get lost in translation. One of the best steaks we've ever tried is the E-San Ribeye from Nur Thai. Truly remarkable - perfectly tender and juicy, along with the added pool of gravy with enough sides to pick it all up, it's excellent! Their Sriracha fried rice with BBQ chicken leg is also very good. Wash it all down with their NURtella fried ice cream (which we absolutely love and cannot get enough of) or their Brown Sugar bubble tea ice cream dessert. read more

Exquisite food, lovely ambiance and very friendly staff/owners. It was my family's first outdoor dining since Covid started over a year ago. They're usually tough critics however no one had anything negative to say. In fact they're already planning a second visit :) Great outdoor vibe, love the garden/Christmas lights combo. Highly recommend the calamari and wings for appetizers and for main course; the rack of lamb, Lady in Red (cute name), and drunken noodles. I loved the uniqueness of the menu, definitely different than any halal restaurant I've been to. Thank you to the owners for making us feel very comfortable and taken care of! read more

Don't let the beautiful pictures fool you!!!! The only thing that was good on my table was the calamari! The duck salad tasted like rubber, beef jerky would've been better. Chicken lollipops tasted like they found random meat and shredded it up together; McNuggets taste better!!!! How am I saying this right now! the pad Thai, why are the noodles so thin? I guess this place uses rice noodles which isn't the norm, ok that's fine, but I did ask for it to be spicy, and it tasted like they put honey in it! Mind you I've had this meal many many many times before and I've never had it like this. Never with This texture noodle, nor such sweetness especially when I asked for spicy!!! read more

Servings were decent and the food was really tasty! The calamari was very good and so were the noodles! Love that they serve NA drinks only and they were all very delicious but definitely pricy. The presentation is also super cool so if you like to take photos you will really like this place! I thin l then presentation of the drinks is worth the cost so definitely try one!! read more

The food was flavorful and portions were big! I got the chicken drunken noodles and my kid got the Tom yum soup with chicken. The chicken in the soup was bland for some reason but the broth was very flavorful. We also ordered the bubble tea milk shake thing with ice cream and it was AMAZING! Best to try and eat the bobas before they freeze. It doesn't taste good when they get hard and they also get stuck in the straws. This isn't on the menu so you have to show them a pic read more
Loved this place ! Upset They don't serve alcohol, but the food makes up for that. I will definitely be back here again. Loved the homemade Thai ice tea. Nice menu options. I didn't give 5 stars only because they messed up my order I was carving beef in my pad Thai and they gave me chicken. :-( I ordered take out so I didn't realize till I was able to eat it. New Thai restaurant in the busy street of Woodhaven boulevard. Busy with cars. Although in the location with other restaurants like Pio Pio, it was a quiet Saturday for this restaurant. We were the only customers when we arrived and still the only ones there after we paid. Food was spectacular. The spices were authentic just like the Thai spices used in Thailand. Portions are small but hits the spot. Thai ice tea wasn't too sweet (which is perfect for my palate), although it can have a tad more tea flavor. The only thing that irked us was the menu. The first page showed the lunch menu. Mind you, we were there at 1140am and since we saw that first page, we expected the lunch special. We orders the Thai ice tea first, then the waiter tells us, "oh by the way, the lunch menu isn't available during weekends." We expressed that it wasn't stated in the menu and he apologized. Nice tactics dude. So we order from the regular menu which isn't crazy expensive but we don't like to be "tricked." Other than that, food had authentic taste.
