This company is complete TRASH! Their technician came to service our filters and softening system. He advised me that our service was $380 I paid him cash. He sent us a receipt for $265. We inquired about this and the only thing the company can tell me is that the technician is off work. I was in the house with my three small children robbed by a technician in blind sight. as far as I'm concerned Nuvia can come take all of this equipment. I'd rather pay for a new system than be robbed by their unethical and accountable employees. To be honest, I'm still very skeptical about the people the company sent to customers' homes even after reading the most resent comments just brought back unpleasant memories. My original review of this company was removed by Yelp, because it was flagged (I wonder by who) for not containing a valid experience. So here's my experience of Nuvia so far. RUN. FAR. AWAY. My experience of Nuvia began when, like others have posted, Nuvia sent me a 'Notice of package on hold', that is deceptively designed to look like a carrier service notice. Nowhere on the package does it state that this is for Nuvia, or that it is in relation to water purification. I called Nuvia, expecting to get into contact with whatever carrier sent me the notice. My experience is that I was then transferred to a Nuvia representative and began an awkward conversation in which they informed me that this was a "special package" that entailed a water testing and some bottles of water from them. I declined the package, because I was honestly shocked to find that's what this notice was for. After all, if a company truly believed in their product, then they should market that. If they don't believe in their product, then there's no reason that anyone should do business with them in the first place. From my experience, it seems that this company will do everything in their power to deceive future customers into making the mistake of doing business with them, while silencing those who have not had great experiences. One of the best investments a home owner can make. Yes we have only had it a couple weeks but we have already noticed a huge difference. Our sales representative we worked with was James Ramert. James answered all our questions, but most importantly was honest. He was able to explain to us how the system worked in simple terms so it was easy to understand. He got to know us a little bit so he could tell us what to expect from the water system now and also what to expect in the future. Every time we have called James he has answered and was able to answer our questions in a timely manner which really was impressive. I was very grateful for that. Next our technician who installed our water system was David Ortiz. David was on time and came and did a beautiful install. Everything looks neat and clean. David was polite and very knowledgeable about the system as well. He has a system himself and told me his experience. He was able to tell me what to look for and who to call if I ever had any problems with the system. He let me know how to shut it down if I ever needed to. He was also quick. I did ask a lot of plumbing type questions while he worked and he was very gracious and did not seem to mind me asking. I was very thankful for that since I am a new homeowner and all the new responsibilities I have are sometimes a little mind boggling. I am thankful for his service. Nuvia has been a Godsend for our family. We just moved into a new home in July and our water throughout our house had as high levels of chlorine as our pool. We could smell it when we showered and taste it when we drank. Our bodies could never get fully clean because we were pumping chorine in it 24/7. Then Armando from Nuvia came to the rescue. He was extremely knowledgeable about every possible question I asked him about water and Nuvia's water filtration system. He was very helpful, friendly, and spent as much time as we requested of him from the initial visit through the installation our system. He even came over to our house afterward to show us the difference before we put in Nuvia's system and how pure the water was after we installed it. Nuvia is the purest water I have tasted in my life. My wife and kids love it and so do my guests who frequently visit our home. I highly recommend getting all the filters possible including the alkaline water filter. I drink nothing but alkaline water and I feel it makes a huge difference in my health. Just be aware that it takes a couple of weeks to get accustomed to drinking the alkaline water. Something was off with our first alkaline filter when it was installed but Nuvia came to fix it right away and the 2nd filter was much better. I now also take the cleanest, softest water showers. It comes with a 5 year supply of free soaps and shampoos. horrible company I wanted to cancel my water softer after finding the Intreat is charged daily and they put a lean on your home if you don't pay the softer off. You can not sell your home with out paying this equipment off. Been paying for this thing for 5 years and my balance never goes down I bought for 7,000 and they still say I have a 6000 balance due to interest. by the time I'm done paying this off, if I don't pay it off early I'll be paying 15k when I could have bought one from Loews and had a plumber install it for $500 (in labor) or less is what I was quoted from a plumber who basically laughed in my face for singing a contract with this company. Even my filtered fridge water was horrible and had very dangerous levels of chlorine. I drilled him with questions and he was very helpful and I was able to help get me a system that was added to my sink and directly connected to my fridge. I am very happy with the water now and he came back out after the install to test out my new water and I'm happy to say our drinking water is much cleaner. Ive has to edit my review down to 1 star. What started out so promising has turned into a huge disappointment. My husband and I feel that there was a lot of miscommunication and that our representative did not follow through on promises and then stopped responding to texts. His name was DelVon. He offered us an incentive to purchase but never followed through. I finally went higher up to the company and they said they didn't even have that incentive available so I had to settle for something else. Weeks after he stopped responding he finally texts me (addressing me by the completely wrong name) saying he dropped off the incentive he promised. But this of course was another lie. 0/10 would not do business with again. Completely disappointed. Also they will sell your loan to a credit union that will open an account for you.
