My wife and I just moved to Westfield several weeks ago. It was our 27th anniversary so we wanted to explore Westfield so we picked Nyla's for our dinner. So glad we did! We used Open Table to secure reservations, recommended. The food and flavors were just outstanding. The ambience was cute, cozy, friendly and just what we wanted. What a special place! Nyla's offers a uniquely intimate experience, incredible service, and an outstanding combination of flavors. It sits in a cute little culinary pocket in Westfield, with free parking a short walks distance from the restaurant, valet is also available. I definitely recommend a reservation because it seems to be a favorite of anyone who's ever been, and there are a few bars within the restaurant to visit at while waiting to be seated. My brother n I took our wives to Nylas next door to the gem Italian House. It was hard to pass up The Italian House but we found another gem!! Cool atmosphere, excellent service and very good food. We tried the cornbread and delish w the honey butter. Mushroom soup was superb with a rich creamy sauce n nice pieces of mushroom. The wedge was very good w blue cheese crumbles on the vinaigrette. Two of us had Chicken Milanese n a go to item that was yummy. The sea bass w the miso sauce was superb. Finally the last dish was the pork chop with a jam sauce that was cooked perfectly! This is my favorite restaurant, not just in Westfield or the Indy area, but anywhere. My wife and I have been 3 times, two for special occasions, and they absolutely crush it. Shoutout to Taylor. She is the perfect waitress for any occasion. The deviled eggs and goat cheese app are so incredibly good that we are yet to order anything different for starters. I am not a huge mushroom soup guy and I get theirs every time. The entrees have all been great but the pork belly is out of this world. The drinks are always well made. The bacon fat old fashioned is the smoothest old fashioned I have ever tasted. With seating inside and outside there is something for everyone. It's cozy without feeling cramped. I have recommended Nyla's to several friends who often eat at the nicest restaurants around Indy and they agree that they'd rather go to Nyla's than any of the steakhouses around. I thought the place look familiar after seeing the red barn. We've been in it a few times when it was still Rails. They did a good job re-doing the inside giving it the upscale look and feel, though not sure if having 2 full bars,1 downstairs and 1 upstairs is necessary. Food wise, my ribeye steak was great and wife enjoyed her veggie wellington. There are quite a few restaurants together with residentials units in the area so street parking can be tricky. Last night we had the pleasure of dinning at Nyla's Restaurant in Westfield. This eatery has it all from terrific food to great service. We were seated by the bar in a very comfortable location in this cute revamped Restaurant . Our waiter James was not only was very helpful with our Menu selections, but tutored us on the evolution of this new establishment. Started off with the unique Margarita Lavender, delicious. All entries come with your choice of a wedge salad or mushroom soup. I chose the fried chicken which put The Colonel's to shame. Pros: Our server George was the perfect waiter, checked on us often but never rushed us. The candied bacon deviled eggs were outstanding. So was Nyla's blue cheese dressing on the wedge. Same recipe as all her other restaurants. The old building had a lot of charm. Cons: The chicken Milanese tasted off to me. It was fairly oily and had a flavor reminiscent of overused fryer oil. Absolutely horrible parking situation. Yes, they offer valet but that was also very busy and you have to pay and tip on top of an expensive meal. The garlic horseradish mashed potatoes were flavorless and I couldn't taste any horseradish. The building, while old and neat, is very tiny and crowded. Checked out Nyla's Restaurant, and it did not disappoint!!! From the service to the food and drinks, everything was remarkable! As our appetizer we got the Crab Stuffed Mushrooms. Entrees came with a soup or salad. I got the Mushroom Cream Soup. For my entree I did the Shrimp & Zucchini Pasta. My hubs did The Coop's Fried Chicken. We had a fantastic anniversary dinner here. We got the Crab Stuffed Mushrooms as an appetizer and then I got a ribeye and wife a filet with mashed potatoes and mushrooms as our sides. Also we both got the cream of mushroom soup for a side and good lord it was fantastic. I got the oatmeal raisin manhattan to drink and my wife got a mocktail that our server just whipped up because they didn't have any on the menu! Also make sure and ask about what bourbons they have because the menu is out of date but they have a very solid bourbon selection. We could not have asked for a better anniversary dinner location. Went to Nylas for a late valentines celebration with my hubby. Great atmosphere, service, and food. We started with the crab stuffed mushrooms and i enjoyed a lychee martini. All incredible. We then enjoyed the lamb chops which were cooked to perfection and chicken milanese. 10/10 would have again. But, to be honest, we both were talking about what we would try next time! At our servers suggestion we also ordered the cornbread as a side for dinner. It is to die for! Do not skip! My husband and I celebrated our anniversary on Thursday at Nyla's. We went based on all the good reviews and were so glad we did. The food was delicious and the service was great. We made a reservation for three via their website for a weeknight dinner. We started with a few drinks, which leaned on the sweet side but were fun and creative. For apps we tried the fried oysters and some cornbread. Our entrees were all the highlight of the meal and would be the reason to want to return in the near future. We decided to check out Nyla's for a birthday celebration. I would highly recommend making a reservation! I was shocked at how small the inside was but it is very beautiful and not loud at all. Superb sea bass with a very light miso ginger glaze, perfectly cooked. The Fried chicken is cooked in a pressure cooker so the meat is cooked and the skin is crisp. Only one soup available but a superb mushroom soup. Service is excellent and the ambience is very cozy. Highly recommend this eatery. We will definitely be back to try other things on the menu. We went out on a date night for Nyla's Early Bird menu. It was outstanding!!! The food is scratch made and was absolutely delicious! We ordered the Beef Stroganoff and Chicken Milanese entrees. They were both filling (we took home leftovers). Their First Cours Wedge Salad or Candied Bacon Deviled Eggs were great with choice of Blue Cheese, Ranch or Balsamic Vinaigrette for salad. It was a generous serving and I was practically full before my entree was served. We also ordered their cornbread appetizer; delicious. Now their desserts are awesome (Tres De Leche Bread Pudding and S'mores Creme Brûlée)!!! Our server Emily deserves a 5 Star rating for her knowledge and hospitality. A few months ago I made reservations to eat here and got here with my family to realize it was 21 and over! For some reason, I never realized it when making my reservation. So, I was excited to come back! My husband and I ordered What A Racket and my husband a Rum Old Fashioned. Both were amazing! For appetizer we got the candied bacon deviled eggs......10/10.
