I'm in love & found a new home for my pedicures. My nail had an ugly break so I decided it was time for a pedicure and I decided to visit this place since it is 5 mins from home. First impression when I walked in was that there was NO smell. Everyone knows that acetone mixed with acrylic smell when you walk by a nail salon. Well this place did not have it!! So, I figured, we are off to a good start. Secondly, noticed that the bathtub was lined with a plastic, utensils came from a sanitized baggy, nail file/buffer were one-time use, scrub and lotion were proportioned in disposable containers, and there was NO acetone (they use natural nail polish remover). If you know anything about nails, you know these are all excellent traits since this means quality and sanitization! Last, but not least, Tan gave me an EXCELLENT leg and foot massage; it was so relaxing i started to dose off. Again, I'm so happy I made the decision to stop by - they take walk ins btw, but I scheduled same day appt. It was $40 for the regular pedicure which was excellent. Can't imagine how great the signature one will be next time. Make sure to leave a well-deserved tip and bring your plus ones!!! read more

Relaxing spa experience, clean, spacious, with brand new equipment like massaging pedicure chairs. All of the products used are organic and there is no chemical smell in the spa. They make their own salt and sugar scrubs and do a hot stone massage with the standard mani & pedi. It's reasonably priced so even if you aren't into the whole organic thing you will still appreciate the clean natural scents and products without paying extra for it. The nail technicians are very quiet with an understanding that we are there to relax. When they spoke to each other they did it in whispers. They offer wine, champagne, water or hot tea before the service. One person in my party of five fell asleep and they were very respectful and let her rest. They did my manicure before pedicure so it was dry before I left. Loved the experience and have found my new regular nail salon!! read more

Pampered ourselves today at this relaxing new salon. Went with my sister and 16yo niece and we all had wonderful pedicures! How are there not more salons focusing on organic products? The owners and manicurists were all very welcoming and professional, taking their time to make us each comfortable. They use real lavender in their scrubs, and add heated Himalayan salt stones to massage legs. Two things I especially liked were that the salon stations are in a quiet area separated from front door traffic, lacking in all other salons, and there is little to no nail polish odor! Recently came here for a pedicure with my mother-in-law and was very pleasantly surprised by our experience. It's not like your typical quick in and out nail salon- this place was decorated very nicely, it didn't smell of chemicals, it was extremely clean, and it had a very relaxing and upscale ambience. The customer service was on point- we were greeted and checked in by one associate, then another associate came over to review our services with us (did we want lavender or citrus scrub, champagne, wine or tea, gel or regular polish, etc.), and before we left we were thanked for coming - everyone was very polite and friendly. We were taken back to the place where the actual pedicure went down and it was very quiet and serene. The room was dimly lit but softly illuminated by a really pretty tree of lights, and each nail tech had an individual light over their station (which I appreciated bc it added to the relaxing atmosphere:, i.e no fluorescent lights). The nail techs were friendly but not overly chatty so we were able to visit with each other instead, they gave us control on the massaging chairs, brought out hot tea, and proceeded to give the best hot stone and sugar scrub massage on our legs and feet. I was invited to visit this nail spa in Folsom by a friend. They aren't open yet but the owners had invited a few people in and were performing free services as a training for their employees and also to get some feedback about their spa packages. I was so impressed with their services I felt I should write a review. The salon is beautiful, everything is new and clean. They have special venting at each manicure station and spa chair which I have never seen before. It's just a little round vent that is flush with the table top but I noticed I didn't smell any of the usual smells I do when I get my nails done. All their products are organic which I love since I get my nails done quite often. They offered me a gel manicure and spa pedicure. First of all, I have never seen so many nail polish options! I noticed they also had Chanel and Dior polishes. I chose a pretty wine color and matching polish for my toes to match my outfit for an upcoming event. The girls sitting next to me chose beautiful summer colors: light lavender and watermelon. The nail technician Lyn was so attentive and she gently removed my last gel manicure. Even at the salon that I go to now, they have a tendency to be a little rough when removing the gel so I was surprised by how gently she was able to remove it. The salon has wireless UV boxes for curing the gel polish. They applied a base before adding the first clear coat of the organic gel polish. I asked what it was and apparently they make their own bonding gel in-house that uses less chemicals. The manicure was perfect! Great shape and length. They even used dipping powder to fix two nails that had broken. After my manicure, I headed over to the spa chair for a pedicure and was offered a glass of wine. What could possibly be better? They were kind enough to offer me the ultimate pedicure which included handmade lavender scrub, wine lees mask (I asked and its high in antioxidants and has exfoliating properties), stone massage, and paraffin wax. Fabulous! The spa chairs were the nicest ones I've ever seen and so comfortable. In fact, all their chairs are really comfortable, soft leather. I was also surprised at how soft my skin was when I was done with the pedicure. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and I would highly recommend visiting when they open. I am very detail-oriented and picky when it comes to my nails and they did an outstanding job. I will definitely be returning - I already have my next color picked out! read more

First time here today and certainly won't be my last. I drive by this salon on my way to work and saw it before they opened. I walked in today with no appointment and was greeted right away. I really like that they have a front reception area. I was taken back for my pedicure and let me just say wow! It's quiet, super clean, and sooooo relaxing. It was probably one of the best leg messages I've ever had. The pressure was great and it felt like she was really getting the muscles. The pedicures are done in a separate room so there's no loud noises from the nail machines or lots of people talking. I only paid $40 for all this, way cheaper than some other places. I just tried this place after seeing all of the other rave reviews, and I'm so glad I gave it a shot! First of all, it's beautiful and peaceful in there. The place is spotless, and there is a definite pride of ownership. They make their own lotions and they are amazing! The gentleman who did my nails (powder dip and a few tips) was so meticulous in his work. He was super careful when removing my acrylics and didn't hurt me once. I also had my brows waxed and she did such a good job and gave me exactly what I asked for. I'm always so worried they'll take my brows too thin or mess up my shape, but they are perfect! My experience at O Nails & Spa was just average. When I first stepped in I thought the staff were very friendly, the building felt very calming and decorated at a five star level, however; when it came down to the actual nail service, I didn't think it was any different than an average nail salon. I had to tell the nail professional several times to fix some of the nails because they were not even at all. I would say the only difference from a traditional salon is they do a great job at ventilation, not so good job at nail technique. In my opinion, even with how "natural" their products are and how they market up their nail packages with this idea of "quality stuff," it really isn't any different and believe it was NOT worth 50.00 dollars. Services were great, the staff don't treat you as you are another client, they do their best to fulfill your expertise (I can be quite picky, but they didn't disappoint me at all).
