Been coming here for years. I've ordered wings at Super Bowl. Tried to support during COVID. Always enjoyed celebrating my birthday here in years past. But recent visits forced me to leave a poor review. Food has been on the decline as well as service. My most recent visit that prompted this review we didn't even eat. We were sat promptly. But after 20 minutes and several requests for service we were ignored completely. Hiring folks is certainly a problem for a lot of places right now but this was something I haven't seen ever. I'll be waiting to go back until service and food improves. read more

A great place to hang with friends and watch a game. Great drink prices. Check everyday for their specials and happy hour deals. Bourbon Burger was Great!! Even used the sauce to dip my fries. Tator Skins were great!! Hubby had the Irish nachos.. he wasn't a big fan but I thought they had good flavor. read more

Off the beaten path. Loud, fun. Tons of menu options. Definitely a spot for locals. Kind of like an Applebee's but appears to be a local chain. Great deals! Use to come here a few years ago and returned recently on a Monday late afternoon. Ordered a Fish n Chips that which amounted to two frozen boxed large fish sticks...fries. It was a joke! Have had a better fish fry at Market 32 for half the price!! Then the other meal was a hamburger plate medium well. It arrived basically Raw!! Waitress apologized seeing that something went terribly wrong. She immediately sent out another meal and the meat tastes really strange. I would suggest going Anywhere else in Glens Falls for a safe tasting burger. I admit it has been about 4 years since my last visit while in town. There must have been a major ownership change because my previous visits have been great. Also, we did not pass our disappointment onto our fantastic waitress $$!!! read more

Went there with my wife and daughter and have to say they took vivid measures very serious. Seating was spaced apart adequately and all servers wore mask. We ordered burgers and a fish fry that were cooked to perfection and came out piping hot!! Service was outstanding and very friendly. We shall return. I joined a group here for lunch today after the Special Olympics Polar Plunge. Molly was our server, and our group was large with most of the parties having multiple children. She was attentive and kept everyone organized and kept everyone's check in order and always made sure we had what we needed. I knew I made a good choice when I learned four of us ordered the buffalo Mac and cheese. The portion size was good, but above all, the chicken was crispy and generously doused in mild buffalo that paired well with the creaminess of the mac. The other thing they got very right was the cook on the pasta. Normally, mac and cheese has pasta that's a bit overdone, and this pasta held together and was cooked perfectly. Everyone else also enjoyed their meals and appetizers - several had burgers (mum described it as having the perfect amount of grease), wings (just slightly not crispy enough). Recently went for lunch after not having been there for several years. The food was always good and I would often get the fajitas. They would arrive at the table sizzling. On this visit I ordered the chicken fajitas and my husband ordered fish and chips. The fajitas arrived cold and seemed like they had been precooked and shot on top of a cast iron skillet but never heated up. My husbands had two small pieces of fish one warm the other cold and cold fries. It's unfortunate that the place has gone downhill. Won't be back. read more

We had two family's, a family of five, and a family of four. When we arrived there were signs up at the entry explaining they could not seat parties larger than six. Upon entering we told the hostess we have two groups and asked if it were possible to sit somewhat close to each other. I told her if it wasn't possible that was completely fine with us. She said she needed to ask her manager. When the manager came out he was visibly irate. We calmly explained to him what we had asked the hostess. At this point he decided to clap in my face while holding my infant daughter to get his point across that he didn't want to serve our group, and demanded we leave. We were not being rude in any way shape or form. Ive never seen such terrible customer service. I completely understand the struggles of staffing right now, but I cannot understand being so aggressive and rude. We will NEVER return. read more

We love O'Tooles. It has become our favorites casual dining establishment in Queensbury. Good food, fair prices, excellent waitstaff. They greet you as family, remember your favorite drink, and offer suggestions when asked. Can't understand any negative reviews. Some people would complain if you hung them with a new rope. read more

While on a little getaway with 14 year old son we went to this place to eat and watch some football. We were seated at around 4:15pm. Sat around just watching games waiting for a server. Around 4:35pm I said to my son no one has talked to us. Two ladies were sat in a table in front of us and were asked what type of drink they would like. So at 4:53pm I asked to speak to a manager. She comes over and I ask why were not talked to? She says is did you flag down a server like it's my fault. Then says I can get a server. I said no I'd rather not spend my money here. My family decided to have dinner here since it was a weekday, I just got out of work, we had 2 children that needed to be in bed for school the next day and also to contribute to the fundraising event for the UNYAA (Upper New York Autism Alliance). In addition it was my birthday and I didn't want to cook nor did I want me wife. So we decided to go here for dinner then come home and spend time as a family. We were seated, placed our drink and meal order at the same time, since we would have liked to get home early to spend time together. I saw multiple others get seated, after our order was placed, ate, and were even given their bill, all before we had been served. it was over an hour and the waitress calm over and apologized explaining that things were hectic and sorry it was taking so long. this was one of the few times she stopped at our table. I noticed that other tables she served she went the long way around us as not to come near our table. Finally got served by another waitress, and even then, the order wasn't fully correct. We finished, was given the bill, then when we were ready to leave the waitress again didn't come to the table for some time. So after the long night at Queensbury's O'Tooles, we came home where our sons were late for bed and didn't spend much time with their father on his birthday. We called at 6:33 PM to ask if we need a reservation. The lady who answered said, no, there are seats available. Waze put us 8 minutes away. We got to the restaurant and were told at 6:43 that there is a 20 minute wait. We waited in the car for 22 minutes and went in to ask again. They said that we were on the list and that we will get a text message. It is now 8:10 PM and they completely lost our "reservation." I would have loved to write a review about your food and service but since your restaurant "reservations " are managed by a high schooler, the only rating we can manage is a one star rating! read more

Came here for the half price appetizers, took five minutes just to be greeted at the front door. The unenthusiastic waitress tells us they're out of the boneless wings. Having come here for the boneless wings, we asked if we could do the bone in wings with the half price deal. Our waitress told us "no way". Poor service. Below average food. I contacted O'Toole's weeks in advance to let them know I wanted to come to dinner and we would be a large party. The girl I spoke to told me this was not a problem. She told me just call the afternoon we plan on coming to give them a heads up. That morning I contacted O'Toole's at 11:36am. I spoke with another employee who told me it would NOT be a problem just have someone in our party come 15 minutes prior. When we showed up 30 minutes prior. Mike the manager on duty, was completely rude. Told me it was going to be a 2 hour wait and we should go somewhere else to eat.... Mike then told us he wasn't the one who spoke to us so there was nothing he could do. He then told us we should go to the Golden Corral if we wanted to sit together... pretty sure he wasn't being nice by giving us this advise. I tired explaining what was said to me. I even showed him my phone record of the time I called that morning. Mike could careless. My husband called Davidson Brothers Brewery told them what Mike said at O'Toole's and they were happy to accommodate us.... Our waitress was a former employee of O'Toole's told us this is why she left O'Toole's apparently Mike is known for being rude and lying to customers. Telling people to call in advance and then not being able to deliver. THANK YOU Davidson Brothers Brewery for making sure I had a great birthday!! Nice local Queensbury bar. Lot's of TV's great food for a bar. Service is always decent. You can sit at the large bar or at a table, this is a pretty good size place! I like seating by the fireplace in winter. The Irish nachos are the best appetizer by far! You can't go wrong with any of the appetizers however. The chicken fajita wrap, and chicken cesar wrap (not on menu but if you ask they will make it) are great entrees. The Philly cheese stake and the burgers are pretty good as well. The Harvest which is nearby does MUCH better salads at pretty much the same price. If you want a salad here I really suggest making it a wrap, that way you get more food as it comes with a side of your choice, personally I like the onion rings. Good selection domestic and import DRAFT beer and it always comes out cold. If you want a good causal place to eat you really can't go wrong with O'Toole's. read more

My friends and I, (a party of nine) went into the restaurant and were told we couldn't be seated. There was no explanation as to why we couldn't be seated. The hostess got the manager and he snapped in my friends face and aggressively told him that we couldn't be seated and that he wasn't listening. We even told them that it would be ok if 5 of us sat at a different table than the remaining 4. I can't even believe that a manager would treat a customer like that. We will never return. read more

Standard sports bar. Pretty good beer selection and nightly specials. Local hangout for seemingly all age groups. Their M-F lunch menu is dirt cheap with sizable portions. Stopped here for some wings as we had heard how good they were. They were great. Both orders arrived together as we ordered extra crispy. The blue cheese dressing was crispy and sharp. I only wish they had more than half a celery stalk with the wings. Hence the four stars and not five...Margarita were excellent! read more

Went here for lunch on Friday. I had the Fish n' Chips special. It was good for ($9.99 / reg. $11.99). The service was prompt and good. They have other daily specials, and I recommend this a good choice for lunch. I'm sure in the evenings it gets more busy, so I will have to try them out then too and then update this review. My family has come to O'Tooles twice since the old manager came back. The restaurant is a great place to watch the game next to the fire. It has a nice bar, but is still family friendly. The prices are comparable to other local sports bar/pubs. We waited a bit for our food, but I don't mind waiting if the food comes out hot and correct. We will definitely be back. read more
