The Staff is over the top kind (allowed a quiet dog in on a very cold winters day), prompt to seat & set up drinks/beverages, & be patient on our perusing the menu on this first visit. Sooo many choices, from benedicts to omlettes, two egg plates to sandwiches. DH had in house made corned beef plate w 2 eggs over easy, country potatoes, toast & jam. I had real chicken fried steak, 2 over easy eggs, country potatoes, toast & jam. It was all perfect. Our only complaint was the coffee tasted burnt & for the price the OJ was a small serving. We will return for the food, but probably not order those beverages. I recommend to the business owner he change coffee vendor or brand, seriously not tasty. Sorry sir. We were excited to try a new place in town, it looked really cute inside and menu looked good. Unfortunately don't think we will be back or recommend to local friends. Didn't even get to try the food. Came in and waited at front door for 5 mins, eye contact with the short brunette server twice, no acknowledgment. Eye contact with the younger blonde server, no smile no acknowledgment. Eye contact with the older blond server three times, finally I made a "hello? anyone care" face and she said "one sec!" but never came over. It wasn't busy, counted 5 tables for at least 3 servers. Shouldn't be a problem. I guess I'll chalk it up to bad management? If you can't have a host, manager should be at front door. I have eaten breakfast and lunch here several times. The location is convenient and there is plenty of parking. The food is consistently good and the service is excellent. The restaurant itself is very nice with large booths and tables. It has always been busy, but even when it's full of people it does not feel crowded. The menu has something for everyone. I can't believe I wasn't able to post good reviews here yet this is our third time and the service with Alejandra is stellar she's very welcoming. I love her energy and smile she's always checking on us and makes sure we get our food right on time. The last time we were here I've ordered the seafood toast and it's overloaded with shrimp and salmon also I had the pastrami Reuben which I also love. For today as usual my boys had the eggs Benedict and I had the roastbeef melt which is amazing!!! Then we've ordered pancakes and I love how the peanut butter, banana choco chip was presented. This restaurant was so charming. I visited with my 10-year-old and we were seated near the kitchen pass. Although we had less of a view of the beautiful restaurant, my daughter loved watching the cooks, and we could still see outside. The food was delicious and perfectly portioned. We went here for lunch recently. The service was okay, but the food was not great. My husband's chicken sandwich was VERY small and my southwest wrap was bland and hardly rolled up...it kept falling apart. The sweet potato fries were mushy and tasteless. Wish I took pics to go with this review. My wife ordered the French Dip sandwich. The au jus was good, but the meat was so overcooked I thought they accidentally gave her the roast beef or something. It was pretty bad. Fries were fried and didn't really have any taste. I ordered the crab Benedict which was also ok, but not great. Definitely not the experience I hoped for. Beauty of a cafe in Rocklin but it is not open for dinner. If you are looking for a great breakfast or lunch spot, this is the place. Very clean modern cafe with super friendly and efficient service. I had the Cobb salad and it was so fresh and delish. There was an abundance of perfectly crisp bacon and the blue cheese dressing is perfect with perfect tartness. My dining mate had the crab Benedict and shall I say I thought she was gonna lick the bowl. There are large booths in the front all along the side perfectly separated so no need to worry you are too close to other diners. Tables in the back with ample space in between. I've never seen so many options on a menu! While nice to have a plethora of options of brunch, lunch, and dinner options it's a bit overwhelming. My eggs benedict were great and just the right portion size which was nice so I didn't feel bad wasting anything. My friend got the sweet cream crepes and while also a good portion size, was more tangy than sweet. If the weather permits, highly recommend outdoor seating which has a great view. Overall I'll probably be back to sample the rest of the menu. The service is on the slower side though, so plan a little extra time before the next item on your day's agenda. read more

The food is made with LOVE. You can tell. It's made by cooks who love to please their patrons. GOOD food....really good! They are passionate about cooking. The servers are at your beck and call. Extremely attentive and you don't ever get an attitude, because their too busy...or you're just another table to serve. You're seated and served from the heart. You're family. In addition, your meal is served in a timely manner. You don't have to wait for an hour to get your meal. That to me is impressive. My wife and I went for breakfast on our anniversary. Service was very nice. Food was good. For some reason the restaurant was very hot - perhaps they turned off the AC expecting a cooler day. My California Benedict was good and their potatoes are solid. My wife's Crab Benedict was okay - crab cake was very thick and dry. I read about this new Cafe on my local NEXTDOOR webpage. Decided to try it for lunch and was not disappointed. The service was great and the food was amazing. I had the veggie crepes, which included two large crepes and a large beautiful salad. My husband had an egg dish special and he was very pleased and love it. It was a lot of food and I had a crepe left over to take home. The cute inviting patio overlooks a small lake. It will be our new lunch go to restaurant. Met up with a friend for brunch and he found this place to try out. Lots of ample parking and inside was very spacious. This was such a nice experience all around! The service, the food, the menu choices, atmosphere, everything. I got the California eggs Benedict and my friend got an all meat omelet. We were both very full and satisfied! They were also super accommodating for my inquiry for non dairy milk and also checking in on us and asking if we needed anything. Even getting us the check and clearing our plates was on point. So, we get sat next to a TV with FOX News on. As an LGBT couple, that programming being on in a restaurant made us just want to leave. We felt unwelcome. But, we had this great server who was really kind and personable. So, my partner asked if she could get the channel changed on the TV. She brought us the remote! We just put on the cartoon Grinch movie because it's Christmas time, and who can argue with that? The 5(ish) year old kid at the table next to us saw it on and said, "this is my favorite movie!" So, better background entertainment established for all. And, we felt like we could stay and eat somewhat more comfortably (though the fact that was the channel this restaurant had on at all is suspect for me). Our server, Lisa, was fabulous. She She helped us feel more comfortable and welcome. She was so kind and personable throughout our entire meal. As for the food it was fine. It is just basic diner food done mediocrely.
