Wonderful food we love the quick simple egg sandwich and also the steak hash! Prepare to expand! We really love it here and we mostly only get takeout so we r saving the tables for all of you!!! We do enjoy the loud music which almost covers the shrill baby cry and dishes banging as a typical cafe in a small town has. We also like that they have espressos AND drip coffee! Perfection! You're welcome, Jean and George :)

We've been vacationing in Three Oaks for 15+ years and I never miss having brunch here when I'm in town. There are so many inventive and mouthwatering twists on brunch staples like the sweet potato waffle or the cheddar grit cakes. Their breakfast potatoes are SO crispy and have herb seasoning and come in a huge portion and are simply the best. They are kid friendly and servers have always been kind and helpful. It's not a very big space so it can get a little crowded at popular times, but you won't regret waiting for this food. Bonus: there is patio seating. Not a super scenic view but you can watch the happenings on the Main Street of Three Oaks and are close by to shopping and arts.

We stopped in on Friday morning around 0800. We were the only two in the restaurant other than the staff. That changed about 30 minutes later so maybe just a slow morning. We both ordered coffee and took a few minutes to look over the menu. The coffee was above average which is always a plus and we settled on the biscuits and gravy and the jalapeno sausage omelette. They biscuits and gravy were very good with just the right amount of seasoning. The omelette was good overall but needed some more heat from the jalapenos. Overall a good breakfast stop with a friendly wait staff

We were staying by the beach and decided to try the Oaks Eatery for breakfast. My wife had the Caprese Omelette which she enjoyed and I had the Bagel & Lox which was excellent. It was a short drive and well worth it. We were on the patio and had great service.

Really fresh and tasty! The pancakes are a must try, and my omelette and potatoes were perfect. Loved the homemade jam and nitro cold brew. Service can be slow when busy, but the staff is super sweet. Would come back!

I've been here so many times I can't believe I've never left a review! This is the first place we go when we head to Michigan for our wine tastings! The sweet potato waffle will bring you back again and again! The maple syrup alone is unbelievable! The owner Rodrigo is so kind and gracious! The vibe is perfect but get there before 3PM EST! And if you're coming from Chicago remember you lose an hour!

Amazing food, eggs are farm fresh, sausages are incredible. As a Bostonian I ate there 3 straight days. Nicholas was great with the service. Outdoor patio was great as well. Highly recommend the place.

Always consistent, delicious food and friendly service. The interior could use a little attention, we noticed the floor was peeling in one section; however, the great food and reasonable prices keep bringing us back!

I'd work here if I didn't have a full time job. We like the wait staff and owners. And, the food is amazing. As owner, Rodrigo's Mexican touch to the dishes differentiates him in town and a large radius around the area. Whether it's for breakfast, lunch, coffee, and drinks to add to your meal, it's a place to go back to again, and again, and again. See you there.

The huevos rancheros is good. The salsas are fresh, a bit too spicy for me though. Corned beef hash is ok but the beef was not that flavorful. I still like this place and will return.

This cozy eatery was so delicious that we wanted to come back, it sure didn't disappoint! The spinach feta omelette was awesome! Very attentive service and they have an outdoor patio that is dog friendly.

Wonderful breakfast, homey atmosphere, sweet potato waffle is amazing Oaks Eatery's Sweet Potato Waffle must be the breakfast of champions! We ate this meal two times while visiting the Town of Three Oaks so surely it is a Silver medalist! Made with almond flour and potato starch, this gluten-free waffle is light and cinnamony with a delicate and crispy crunch and we declare it a winner! Simply the best! The Chilaquiles were also a contender for best breakfast dish. Crunchy fried tortilla chips, generous portion of guacamole, black beans with queso fresco, fried eggs with crispy edges and herby cilantro. This dish did not disappoint. We also split a Swedish pancake with lingonberry jam. This is a cheery, art-filled space with amiable servers and endless cups of coffee. Keep on making that medal-winning waffle!

Off the charts. Every town should have a place like this. Upon entering I was greeted by the most personable host setting the tone for the rest of my meal. Though not too large of a place, fortunately we had our choice of tables. I noticed they also have a dining patio. Our waitstaff was as nice as the host. Seems that each meal could substitute tofu for meat, great for us vegetarians. My husband had the breakfast burrito and I had the sweet potato scramble, each with tofu. We waited a bit of time for our meals, indicative of everything made to order. When they came out they were steaming hot and every bit worth the wait! The scramble was better than the burrito if you're undecided. In any case, they use locally produced ingredients! The jam was made from fresh fruit and tasted like it!

Delicious fruit, toast, eggs, and the crispy bacon.

We waited an hour and a half to get seated (Father's Day) but the food was absolutely delicious. It was worth the wait.

The chef is…read morefrom Ecuador and the love for his culture shines through in the food and in Tapa Taco's cozy ambiance. Tacos are delicious and nicely sized. The chicken was juicy and flavorful (points for using thighs, not breast), and the veggie taco with sweet potato and kale is a must! Plantains were fried perfectly--crunchy on the outside and soft and sweet on the inside, with a nice spicy guava jam to dip. The rice is OUT OF THIS WORLD and I'm going to need to stop to get some every time I'm in Three Oaks. Tapa Taco is such a gem, I can't wait to come back.

Our table…read moreordered 5 mixed drinks; all of which were undrinkable even after the bartender tried to fix one of them. We switched to beer and wine which were fine but I'd say for sure to stay away from mixed drinks here. We had shrimp ceviche which is a fine appetizer in a very tasty broth. The guacamole was also first rate! The entrees not so much. Our paellas' were far too salty but still passable. The beef tacos were also quite good. Staff were helpful but couldn't overcome the kitchen and bar issues. Also an inviting; old school type dining area that harkens back to kinder/gentler times. So a word to the wise: if you navigate well you can get a good meal at Tapa Taco but you must choose with discernment.
