This was a bit of a drive for us, but 100% worth it. Such a cozy and cute spot right downtown Three Oaks. Plenty of parking on the street and a city parking lot. The service was great, our server gave us great recommendations. While we were waiting on our food we enjoyed mimosas with fresh squeeze orange juice, my favorite!!!! I'm a sucker for traditional eggs Benedict (which they have) but decided to try the eggs Benedict made with chorizo patties. Amazing!!!! Best eggs Benedict Ive ever had, and the breakfast potatoes I had were out of this world. My partner tried one of their features and he was very very happy. Terrible service. We sat 50 minutes waiting for our food. The waitress apologized for not turning in our ticket and said it would be quick. We waited another 15 minutes. I had heard her give the same speech to two other tables. Amazing that this is rated so highly. There were open tables and was no wait at the door so it wasn't that busy. I stopped by for munch on a business trip. I had the one of the daily specials, a jalapeño cream cheese omelette and substituted the carbs for a pancake, which was totally worth it. Service was friendly and fast. The restaurant was clean. The food was very high quality and tasted great. I ate it too fast to take a picture, but the presentation was nice. I'll definitely stop back here with my family next time we go to Michigan. My kids and wife will love it! read more

I've visited twice before for breakfast and had a decent breakfast but now after my third visit I have to say, sloooow service!! If you are in a rush it's not the place to go. Twice before Covid19 we waited 40 minutes for eggs. The fantastic coffee made the wait bearable. Today I was the only one there and my burrito to go took 30 minutes and the contents were very overcooked. Good food is unimportant when the place is unkempt & the employee's are unable to even offer basic human niceties. As we awkwardly stood by a counter no one greeted us. There was an employee just standing there making no eye contact. Chairs were stacked upside down among seated tables of people looking at the bottoms of chair with dirt & goo. It's really dark and dirty with pictures on the wall hanging askew. There were 2 employees in the dining room and only one actually working and she had a dirty ripped red sweatshirt on and dripping in sweat. (Don't drip on my food) She finally approached us and looked around at the room and rudely told us we should leave and she'd call us in 20 minutes or so if a table opened up. Never acknowledged our presence, never said hello, just told us to leave. The place had single people sitting at whole tables on computers with only coffee. How this dump makes money is beyond me. read more

Treated like family here and it was our first time! A mom and daughter team run the front of the house. The daughter is an excellent waitress and mom is all about customer service. The food was very good too. We were a 7 top and everyone Liked their breakfast dishes. We decided to stop in for breakfast while staying at a nearby Airbnb and I'm so glad we did! The food was so good that we came back the next day! My husband had the pancakes & biscuits and gravy and I had the huevos rancheros and there are zero complaints. I kept saying out loud how amazing it was. The service was great, we even saw the owner helping out with running food, checking on guests, etc. My only wish is that it was closer to home for us! Oaks Eatery is a short drive from the Warren Dunes and in the heart of downtown Three Oaks which is small but full of charm. Our group of 4 had a great meal here. All of the food came out hot and portions were generous. The server was really friendly and attentive (refilling water, asking if anyone needed any mayo, ketchup, etc.). Also. I really appreciate that they allow dogs on their outdoor patio and they provided them little cups of water to enjoy. We will be back! read more

I stumbled upon this cafe one day. The food is delicious and the chef will make me a keto friendly almond flour waffle which is so delicious and gives me the "crunch" that I miss! The coffee is the beat around from uncommon grounds and I can buy it by the lb/bag to take home. Top notch food and a welcoming staff makes this my first stop when I'm hungry. I ordered the brisket hash breakfast, which included only 2 eggs, 1 piece of toast and minimal brisket and potatoes. The serving size was smaller than a normal breakfast place. Another person got the breakfast burrito. That was decent sized and had good flavor. Both meals were tasty but it was the size that was lacking. I also ordered the jalapeño sausage. The sauces were so flavorful and even their simple black beans had a nice soft smoky chipotle flavoring in them.
