Let me say I really wanted to like this place. The owner seemed really nice. But I'm an honest reviewer and the food fell flat. Beef shawarma was honestly the worst I've ever had from any Mediterranean place. It wasn't cooked on a spit, taken from the fridge and fried. Thin, dry, flavorless pieces of beef. The falafel was a bit better, but tasted a bit dense and lackluster. The chicken shawarma was just as bad as the beef. The store keeps it in large tubs just sitting out which can't be sanitary. It's precooked so you can expect it to be dry. Lastly I ordered fries. Came out soggy but most importantly unsalted. Fries with no salt is no good. The fries were $4.99 which is pricey for a small bag of fries. There are so many other good Mediterranean places nearby. If you want good shawarma, check out Furn-Saj which is a couple blocks away. It's night and day difference. Wish this could have been better, but I won't be back.

Note that everything appears to be more expensive by at least $0.50. Food is good and you get the service based on the people working there. The man and woman that works there on the weekends are super professional. The man featured in one of the most recent photos is unprofessional and must think super highly of himself. Has a superiority complex. Tried the lamb and kafta kabobs again and this time it was on point. Falafel and kibbeh were delish! Restaurant is run down, but this side of the plaza is still "relatively safe." No guarantees on the other side of the plaza where you see bums and druggies out and about zombieing what used to be the Big Lots. It's pretty ghetto past Pasha Market, so order this for takeout and don't bring your first date here. 4/5 - Would have rated higher but the man was just rude and unprofessional. Cocky mofo.

Mom and pop shop. Not everything working but don't let that fool you

Came to this place cuz I was looking for some good Mediterranean food in the area. Based off yelp reviews we stopped at this place. The lonely man that was cooking our food was also answering his many phone calls from his personal phone while peeling a potato with a knife. There didn't seem like an urgency to cook our food, although we were the only two people in the restaurant. This is definitely a mom and pop shop... this ain't no Olive Pit or Luna grill so if you are shooting for that... this ain't it. This is definitely a place that locals come to who are familiar with the language. When we got our food I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was! It did take a minute for them to cook it all but it was well worth the wait! Over all this was a place I would come back to and would recommend with the understanding that it is a non franchised restaurant. This is definitely a hidden Gem. Don't let the location fool you! Ps... it would have been 5 stars if the pitta would have been warmed up and not served cold.

The chicken, Shawarma, and beef Shawarma is so good. We just went there today. It was amazing.

    Vegetable plate...loved it!

I finally had the pleasure of stopping by in person and I was very satisfied with the fast service. I had there vegetable plate which was perfect -- it included falafel which was quite flavorful and crispy (just the way I liked it) as well as hummus, tabouli, baba ghanoush, pita bread, and stuffed grape leaves (which I'd never had before and O.M.G. so good!!). My husband got the beef kabab plate and my mom got the chicken kabab plate and they both loved their meals. My husband commented that, "even the rice is really flavorful!" Two thumbs up for Oasis Grill!

casual sitting... walk up order.. food made to order .. fresh

fantastic falafel, shawarma, kabab, lamb, tabouleh, and so much more... cooked fresh, delicious , good ingredients ... local business .. A neighborhood gem and as authentic as it gets. Basic menu, do you want a sandwich (all ur goodies wrapped up in delicious persian huge pita bread .. like a burrito. Or, do you want a plate .. ur goodies with rice, salad, tabouleh and pita (smaller than the burrito size pita) . Also have sides, soft drinks, yogurt to drink and baklava .. yummmmy Don't get discouraged.. when u see it in a run down strip mall next to a pizza place and big lots. The food is top notch and always A in the window. Loca owned ... definitely worth our patronage! prices range from $6.99 for sandwich to $9.99 for a chicken kebab plate. Hubby and i moved from area 10 years ago but we keep coming back.

Food is super good. Service is sometimes questionable but the chicken shawarma is so good that it makes up for it

Has management changed or is the owner the same as two years ago?

The regular guy works 3 days a week while his business partner is filling in too. I asked while I was there. The food is still consistently delicious as I went there a few days ago.

My husband and I usually order take-out, but on our recent visit, we decided to dine in. We arrived on a Sunday evening (5pm). Parking is shared with other businesses in the plaza. We found one in the shade. The restaurant is small, but they utilize their space well. There are 4 tables and I believe 3 high-top tables as well as outdoor seating. The interior is well-kept and decorated nicely to match the Greek theme. Ordering takes place at the counter, no self-serve kiosk. They have many menu options like sides, gyros, plates, kids menu, family meal, lunch specials, soups, and desserts. My go-to item is their Greek Chicken Pita with Lemon Sauce in place of the tzatziki ($13). I would sometimes order this with a side of fries, but my husband got it in his combo. The reason I order this all the time is because the pita not only tastes amazing, it's also filling! There's grilled chicken, potatoes, pickled onions, greens, and lemon sauce. The pita is thick and has the perfect chew to it. There is so much flavor in every bite! The fries were delicious as well. They were soft on the inside and crisp and seasoned well on the outside. Overall, a great spot for Mediterranean food. I would happily recommend this to anyone!

We met Constantine today; he told us the recipes were family recipes and showed us the pictures of his mom and dad on the wall and pointed out the town they were from on a map on the wall! We both got the chicken shawarma with rice and pita and a side order of falafel and it all tasted excellent and fresh. The owner Kal was generous to throw in some extra sauces even though we didn't add them originally which was very kind. The amount of food was plentiful, I came in hungry and we still had leftovers to take home. But the best part of eating here was the hospitality that Kal showed us. He let us try the beef empanadas and the salsa which was his own recipe and it was absolutely delicious. This will forever be our spot to visit when we come to the movies. If you get a chance to dine in I highly recommend it as Kal and his wife will make you feel at home in a way no other restaurant does nowadays.

The mixed plate came with chicken, kefta, and beef. Everything was absolutely perfect. Some places serve dry chicken, but not at Aladdin's. It was so juicy and flavorful. The empanadas were light, crispy, and not greasy at all. But what made the dinner even more special was the way Cal greeted and got to know each customer. He is so genuine and kind. In the short time we were there, he has made new friends in us and we will be back soon.
