I'm used to very deep tissue massages which is why I prefer Thai massage. I also love that there's a stretching component for added relaxation and mobility. I called about 2-3 hours in advance and they were able to accommodate me for a 2 hour massage. Andy was my masseuse and he was excellent. Andy took a lot of care by asking about pressure and checking in with me enough, but not too much. I came to try out this place given the reviews but can't said I had the most amazing experience and overall it was just OK. I think it probably really depends on the massage therapist you get since my sister and her boyfriend all have different experiences at this place. Parking - super easy since it's located in a suburban area with dedicated plaza parking Service - the staff were really nice. they greeted us and made sure we put on the shoe covers and asked us to fill out the necessary forms and confirmed what service we're getting and trouble areas we want to focus on. However, when it came to the massage, it felt like they did a typical thai massage (where they step on you) and didn't really focus on any of the trouble areas that I mentioned. A couple time i feel like they stepped a little too close to my spine which made me a bit nervous and uncomfortable Overall, I think the experience here probably really depends on the massage therapist you get. My girlfriends and I were looking to get a massage before 2021 came to a close and were pleasantly surprised about this place. Given that it was near holiday season, it was still rather easy to schedule a reservation. When you arrive, they immediately offer you shoe covers and hand sanitizer. I really appreciated the amount of COVID precautions they took and that the staff are fully vaccinated. You are seated in the waiting room and they go over the different options. Unlike most other locations, they provide you a clip board where you can go over the areas you want to focus or to avoid. I ended up picking the Thai massage without feet stepping since it was my first time ever. We each had our own room, despite there being two beds in each, just for our comfort. They request that you sanitize again, place all of your clothing articles except for your underwear in the basket, keep your mask on, and to lay face down under the sheets before they enter. I requested to have the massage mainly be focused on my upper back and shoulders since I usually get knots (unfortunately there weren't any significant ones the day I went) and my lower back. The massage therapist was very receptive and always checked in on me for my pressure tolerance. After one hour, I felt relaxed but extremely groggy (likely because of the dehydration from massages). The one thing I wished I did was to extend it to 1.5 hours instead of 1 because I felt most of the time was focused on my shoulders since it did need a lot of TLC. Overall, great staff and service. I HIGHLY recommend this place! They really attend to what you need to be focused on. The only thing I recommend is to extend the time if you have multiple areas you want to target. read more

2020 has been rough (and not even over yet!) and got my body all tensed up and stiff as heck. I needed a massage--pronto. I called to schedule an appointment and Mai, who took my call, was friendly and was able to book me over the Labor Day Weekend for a Thai Deep Tissue massage. She also explained the COVID protocols before hand as well. When I arrived the day of, my hands were sanitized, then I was given an intake form to fill out (COVID disclosure and a standard one on focus areas). Masks were also required to be worn all throughout the massage (by both parties). I was then taken into the back patio area. It's separated out by tents and has sheets in between so I felt it was pretty private. Hands were sanitized again. There was a heat wave that weekend so I appreciated they had multiple fans going in my tent. Occasionally there would also be a light spray of water like in the produce section of Safeway. My massage therapist was Sophia. She was great! I like my massages with a lot of pressure to really get the knots out. I wanna walk out of a massage feeling straight up bruised, and I felt I got that. I was feeling pretty down the day before, but that massage really got me feeling physically and mentally more relaxed. After the massage, you pay with a credit card at the front with the Square device. They sanitize your hands again, and also spray the Square device with disinfectant after you sign it. Overall I'm happy with my massage experience. Most of all I appreciated that they were very professional and took COVID precautions seriously. I've been to a handful of massage spas in the past and no place I've tried so far beats this one. I've been here twice - once with my boyfriend and once with my mom for Mother's Day. Reservations were made through the phone. As a germaphobe, I always question whether spas REALLY sanitize their massage beds, but Oasis Thai Spa really makes sure you KNOW they genuinely care about the cleanliness of their business. Upon entrance, they require you to sanitize your hands and put on disposable shoe gloves - and they'll ask you to sanitize again once in your designated massage room. Their bathroom is also SUPER clean; I'm talking like no drops of water on the floor or a smelly toilet. It's very, very well kept! Prior to the massage, the lovely ladies at the front desk will request that you fill out a form specifying your contact information and the areas on your body that you'd like the most focus on (which I love!). You can then confirm which type of massage you'd like and they'll take you to your room. The atmosphere is very relaxing - the lights are dim, the temperature is slightly warm (they have a small portable heater in the corner), and the music is relaxing. They have a basket for small belongings and a wall hanger for your clothes. I've tried both their Thai Traditional ($85) and Swedish massage ($85) and both are awesome depending on what you're feeling. The Thai massage consists of more stretching and flexibility and the masseuse will walk on your back. Sounds a bit unnerving but it actually felt really nice and you can completely control the pressure by just letting them know if they need to dial back. The Swedish massage is more focused on strokes throughout the body, targeting smaller muscle groups for an overall relaxing experience. I also really appreciate how nice and polite the masseuses are. They always start by saying hello and asking how I'm doing - and when I took my mom there today for Mother's Day, they even said, "Happy Mother's Day." The best part is that they usually end the massage by saying, "thank you" and not something abrupt like, "your time is up" or "that's it for today" lol. Overall, a really great experience that leaves you feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and cared for - especially when coupled with their awesome customer service. I'm still on the hunt to find a go-to massage spa in the bay area. I stopped by Oasis Thai this past weekend to get a 90 minute deep tissue Thai massage. In order to book an appointment you'll need to call them, they did not have a web based appointment system when I booked. It's probably best to book in advance so you can pick up masseuse as well as preferred time. I was greeted as I walked in and filled out a quick form to indicate target areas and you can also specify areas that you do not want touched. They sprayed my hands with a sanitizer that had an essential oil and gave me shoe covers. It was a good massage. I identified upper and lower back as well as shoulder for the target areas and that is where the masseuse focused. The pressure was good and she really focused on the target areas. She checked in to make sure that I was comfortable with the pressure and overall it felt like a very functional massage. It would have been nice if the massage table was heated because the A/C was on and it did feel a little cold. They use heating pads to help warm up target areas. I had a good experience during my first visit and I think it would be worthwhile to go back and try out their Swedish massage read more

I really enjoyed my 1.5hr massage here. My massage therapist was Mai and she did an excellent job. She's very responsive to my requests for pressure level working on different areas. She's also great at asking if the pressure is right for you as well. I did a combo of a Thai and Swedish massage. I think I will stick to only Swedish next time. It was too much to have someone step on me and I didn't like the twisting my arm in the back and stretching it the opposite way, really uncomfortable for me. I did like the legs stretching though. I wanted to explore around for a more affordable spa, and decided to try Oasis Thai, as their prices were reasonable. I'll admit I was apprehensive about getting a swedish massage from a Thai spa because I cannot handle Thai massages, but based on the good reviews, I made an appointment, which by the way was quick and easy as well. The masseuse, Sofia, was extremely accommodating. She was firm, but also knew to be sensitive to my pressure. As I indicated on my form, my shoulders were the biggest point of contention and she worked really hard on them without being painful. She even said I needed a deep tissue, but she was going to be nice so that I would come back, funny gal. For 90 minutes, Sofia worked really really hard, and I definitely felt better after the massage, nicely stretched, and with some of my knots worked out. As I know a few people who would appreciate a Thai massage, I will definitely send them here. I researched for good spas to take my mom to and found this one being one of the best with good reviews. I dropped my mother off and they told me to come pick her up in 2 hours. I believe I told them she needed a Thai Deep Tissue massage. 2 hours later I came back to pick her up and she was REALLY satisfied. The lady explained to my mother and I about how tense her muscles were and also recommended different stretching techniques to do at home. They really took care of my mother!
