Finally checked this place out after having it bookmarked, and I would have to say it was pretty good. The OB wings are fantastic (and make sure to ask for the pickled daikon if you enjoy that pairing), and the Kimichi Fried Rice was good. Considering it is open late and serves pretty good Korean-style bar foods, I would recommend it. The ambiance is...well...a bar, but pretty chill vibes. Nothing extraordinary in their decor, but I was pleasantly surprised by the well-kempt ladies room. I would definitely come back to try other menu items, and to eat their OB wings again. Fun place to go with friends. Food is good and made for sharing. Highly recommend the sweet potato fries. Skinny, crispy and dusted with sugar. So good! Wings are really good as well. Great mom and pop Korean pub. The Tong dak whole fried chicken is the best I've had in the OC. The skin is thin and crispy; the meat is fresh, moist and flavorful. I had the pork feet salad also which is really good and unique. The owners are very nice and accommodating. I hope they can ride out this COVID pandemic which is killing these mom and pop businesses because these are the businesses that provides us with all the delicious different food options that we take for granted living in Southern California. We found this place when searching for a place that is open now after many restaurants have closed. We were pleasantly surprised by the number of people dining. Usually a good sign! Ordered here for take out and a recommendation is to definitely call ahead of time, because we waited as long as it would take to probably sit and eat there. Other than that... we ordered the spicy rice cake w/ ramen, egg and fish cake and we did not realize how big their portions were! It fed up for 2 days and it was pretty good. We also got the garlic wings, which we liked a lot! Definitely very very garlic-ky lol.. like you will still be able to taste it hours after... so be aware. I'm really happy that they opened up a cool Korean drinking spot in Tustin so that I don't have to drive all the way up to Garden Grove to eat some Korean bar food. The environment is pretty cool and I like the fact that they also have karaoke inside the restaurant as well. All the food that we tried were pretty good. We ordered their gyoza, Kim chi and spicy pork belly stir fry, chicken wings and fishcake soup. I thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes and it was good that we were able enjoy our meal with some soju. They have some TVs around as well, so it's a good place to watch games if you are into that. Overall, the service was good and food was awesome. First experience there wasn't the greatest but my wife insisted it was just an off day. Went back to have the salt and pepper shrimp and the pork cutlet and it definitely hit the spot. If you're looking for a meal then go with the Pork Cutlet, good portion size and should be enough for a heavy eater or a good portion for a couple to split. The Salt and Pepper shrimp is great for a side dish and the perfect dish for drinking. The shrimp comes cooked whole and it's crispy enough to eat the head and tail. If you're a but hesitant about eating the the head and tail just chop it off. Either way I'm sure any shrimp lover while enjoy the dish. I am obsessed with tteokbokki. I wanted to try this place because I was in town and was craving some. I was expecting better when I saw the pictures on yelp. Personally, it wasn't hard chewy enough for me and the sauce was more like tomato sauce than spicy tteokbokki sauce (ex: from yup dduk or luv dduk) I wouldn't come here again for the tteokbokki. The ladies who work here are so friendly! Ordered takeout - got garlic fries and spicy chicken feet. The garlic fries are a nice big portion so you get what you pay for. The garlic flavor is nice and yummy. The spicy chicken feet are tender but the sauce is a bit on the sweet side for me. I added some soy sauce and lime juice to the chicken sauce and ate the dish with rice at home. I was hoping it'd be similar to OB Bear's chicken feet which is peppery and spicy and delicious but this one tastes a bit more like a sweet ddukbokki sauce but still pretty tasty. Was craving some korean street food. Found this little gem on yelp late night and went straight to pick up some food. The food itself is not bad, but it is crazy overpriced for what you get. I.e. I ordered soondae (korean blood sausage) and I got about half the packet that you would get for a market bought one for almost triple the price. For the same taste. Went here on a Saturday night for a birthday dinner. Was not crowded at all and they had a great lil set up outside. The service was friendly and quick. Food was great, we shared family-style. It has a nice atmosphere. Dark and mostly booths. Def bar feel in a random plaza. The menu is gigantic. They have so many options it took us awhile to decide on something. They also have combos to make things easier! The food was better than I expected. We got the spicy chicken wings and the fish cake soup. Both were excellent. The wings weren't crazy spicy, even though it looked like it would be. The fish cake soup had a different broth than other places, more like udon broth, but I liked it. Soju (regular & differing flavors) & beers be flowing, the cuzzos ordered about errthaaaang on the menu from cheese corn, eggs rolled/cut?, army stew, wings, jjajjangmyeon (sp?), etc. No idea how the room works or need the volume controlled? The Bulgogi was delicious, mom had these noodles with some black sauce that she loved overall, and the kimchi was free and delicious. Came here on a Thursday night and there weren't too many other tables, which was good because by the end we were getting pretty rowdy with our drinking games. All the staff was very friendly, even the owner came out to say hello. We ended up spending over 4 hours there drinking and eating. We tried a bunch of their dishes, sweet and sour pork, garlic wings, fried rice, squid, popcorn chicken, cheese corn, bulgogi, and a fish cake soup. Everything was good, I have zero complaints.
