Same owner as OB Square in Diamond Bar! A group of us came in to take advantage of their grand opening special '20% off your entire bill'. We ordered some food (fried rice, fried whole chicken, chicken wings, popcorn chicken, sweet and sour pork, cheese corn, bulgogi, fish cake soup) and a whole lot of beer and soju. Everything we ordered was delicious, averaging around 4-5 stars. I was in the mood for fried rice and that really hit the spot. The owner/chef came by to say hi and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. We had fun - might have been a bit obnoxious with our drinking games at times but hey, this is a Korean drinking bar so this should be expected. We are definitely coming back! read more

OB Square was very clean and the atmosphere was perfect for a night with friends. The staff was very patient and accommodating towards everyone in our large group and we were all very grateful. The food was very fresh and savory and each dish quickly become someone's favorite. Whether it was the kimchi pork belly, ramen, or even OB wings they did not disappoint in flavor and satisfaction. Pretty standard korean pub food. Fried chicken is always a hit. Spicy rice cakes are decent. Spicy pork with tofu and ok too. Customer service is great! Located in a kinda-sad strip mall in Tustin, but the food here is legitimately GOOD. They have all the standard pub items but they have lots of Korean-Chinese food here too so the menu is a little special. Repeat visit winners: OB wings (salt and pepper takeout style) - fried pretty skillfully & seafood pancake - pan fried VERY skillfully with good crisp, texture, and clean tasting seafood. This place is pretty standard for a late night Korean drinking establishment, but it provides us a convenient option when we are missing our nights in ktown. The food is pretty hit-or-miss but we ALWAYS come back for the garlic wings. Not too sweet and very buttery these are pretty amazing and unlike any other garlic wings I've had anywhere else. I once waited 45 minutes for them to open so that I could place a large order to cater a gathering and they were a huge hit. They also have two karaoke rooms with pretty sophisticated gear. I highly recommend if you are in a pinch and need a private karaoke room stat. Just call ahead and see if they are available. read more

This restaurant is better than Tani imo...they don't do rolls which is ok by me...they have fried chicken but like another reviewer mentioned definitely not KFC but more Chinese style, the kimchi jeon was awesome, the makgeoli or rice wine is definitely pricey at 12$ a bottle but i guess typical i wish they had the flavored makgeoli in the future perhaps?? This little hidden gem brings Ktown to Old Town Tustin. They have good food, (gizzard, OB garlic wings, corn cheese!) and all the Soju and Beer you can drink. A great place to go with your friends to watch the game or work on your future soju hangover! read more

Service and ambience is really great here! Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. Jinny is our favorite! She recommended the pork belly with tofu and it was seriously tasty! They also make the steamed dumplings in house and they are delicious! We also got to meet the owner, Roy and he's a stand up guy as well! You won't be disappointed! There are two karaoke rooms here as well, but we haven't tried them yet. The place gets pretty crowded, but it's worth it! :) read more

Man, Im so glad I found this place. Their beer tastes pretty genuine draft beer, not watered down like some other joint. Chickin wing taste pretty crispy and good amount of garlic sauce. Environment is very hip and price is reasonable. Man, their shrimp is pretty pluffy and i thought it was a lobster. Haha. Highly recommend, gets pretty busy on weekend. read more

I got spicy ramen with rice cakes. The price was very reasonable (only 7.95 - Jan 2018). The ramen was very delicious and serving size was big. I was very hungry and it filled me up pretty well. It was not very spicy and the ramen had a good texture and was freshly made. I also got citrus Sozu. It was very delicious and had a good alcohol content. It made me decently drunk. Hi, I'd just like to say that although the food was pretty good I didn't really appreciate how we got such poor service. I usually am a patient person, but it took a while for our food to come out plus they weren't very attentive. Maybe it'd be nice if they refilled our water and even got our order right. How are you going to come out with white rice and an egg on the side when we specifically asked for an egg cracked on our chicken fried rice especially if you wrote it down?They didn't really have the friendliest attitude, they made it seem as if they didn't want to help us to begin with. I can understand it's a Friday night, but at the end of the day we're still the customers and they should at least check in from time to time. read more

This is one of the best Korean fusion restaurant I've have in the 714 area. I love their OB chicken wings, Kimchi Pork Belly Stirfry with Tofu and BBQ Squid are awesome and flavorful. The decor is nice and lots of tv's if you like watching sports and there's music in the background. Lots of LED lights. They have two private VIP karaoke rooms. Lots of beers to choose from. Lots of parking. They waitress are super nice and friendly and if you don't know what to eat just ask them for recommendations and you'll love it! read more

OB Square was one of my most interesting finds this year. This place located in the middle of nowhere, except by Ding Tea. You probably wouldn't know the location if I didn't say it was located by Ding Tea. Read my review for Ding Tea! (Shameless plug) The reason I found this place was because it's open pretty late on a weekday. While every place closes at 8-10pm OB Square holding it down till midnight. I stopped by all depressed after getting RECKT by my finals, but after eating the food here, I felt a wee bit better. The restaurant is similar to an Izakaya or a bar-restaurant. Good place to stop by after work and pop open a couple of cold ones with the guys. Apparently, there's karaoke here. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to sing my heart out that night. Upon arrival, the staff in front was super nice to me. In fact, they were nice to all of the customers. They really valued their customers here. I ordered food to-go and the process was really chill, I didn't feel rush at all. The menu was so large, I took a bit of time to decide even after looking at various stuff here on yelp prior to coming. The music was bopping yo. They got some nice Kpop on there for the ARMY and other fandom. I was just chilling and dancing the whole choreography to different songs while waiting. Once the food was ready, the staff notified me that how they packed the food. Lemme tell you, they treated my food like it was a baby! I swear I saw them sang it a lullaby before giving it to me. On a serious note tho, when I got home and had the food, I wanted to come back and try other stuff. Let's start with the Bulgogi Cheese Fries. It was pretty oily. I could probably squeeze the oil out and fry another batch of fries with it. Kidding, not that oily, but pretty oily. But the thing was, that's what made it good. This is not something for the health conscious. I never knew what guilty pleasure was until I was enjoying the rich and beautiful melted cheese on top of the crispy fries, topped with the savory steak. It was so good and I forgot all about the feeling of my arteries clogging up. The fries were still very crispy despite me taking it home. Many places fries goes soggy after a few minute, but apparently not here? If I was the head honcho here, I would add parsley or some kind of herb to add a fresh flavor to cut the grease and to make it look somewhat healthy. I was initially gonna dock a star for the oil, but was it good tho? The answer to that is yes, it was delicious and it sent me to flavor town. The other dish I tried was the Jajangmyeon. The black bean sauce was thicc and stuck to the noodles very well. I think that it's a pretty standard jajangmyeon but there's nothing wrong with that. The price is a little bit expensive, but for what you get it's worth the price. The two dishes I ordered could have been split amongst 2 to 3 or even 4 people. The food tasted amazing and the service was great, so I can't see why they don't deserve a 5 stars from my experience. read more
