Great menu with a wide variety of seafood and other dishes. Everything we tried was super flavorful and delicious. Chicken feet- good and unique blend of fish sauce sweetness. Nice crispy exterior, but there wasn't much meat. Snails- very small snails, but packed with flavor. The satay and corn flavor reminded me of those addictive Asian snack flavors, like seasoned chips. Crispy Shrimp- Really tasty with rich, buttery garlic flavors. Slightly overcooked, making them a bit harder to peel, but still enjoyable overall. The decor is kind of hard to pin down, but parts of it gave me the vibe of being tucked away in an alley somewhere in Hong Kong- low-key, a little gritty, but in a cool, intentional way. Service was quick and non-intrusive. The food holds its own too. One thing I really liked is that with most dishes, you get to choose the sauce it comes with. It adds a nice level of customization, and it's especially great that they offer salted egg as an option which I don't see often.. Oysters w/ garlic butter: 8/10 - Fresh, huge, and super succulent. Lobster in salted egg yolk: 8/10 - Good portion for the price with decent-sized lobster tails. The sauce is the star here. Salted fish fried rice: 8/10 - Simple but really well done. Here in the morning at 10am for Bun Bo hue Mo Lan, I wanna say they shared a business with OC A chay because the menu where different in the morning or when we got there. Which was fine because I was craving bun bo hue, and I just finished filing my taxes which it was a couple of doors down the same plaza. This review is an honest one, I know there is a sign in near the cash register about placing a five star review for a soda, ON WHICH I DID NOT DO! AS A YELP ELITE, WE DO NOT TAKE BRIBES!! I spent my own money here. Keep in mind they don't take cards, only cash or you can zelle/ venmo them. They even provide a QR code for easy payment. My total bill was $20.11 (see picture) below and I had to zelle so be aware that they prefer cash. My mom and I wanted to try their bun bo hue since our favorite spot in GG quality has gone down and it wasn't the same owner anymore. We just ordered one bowl of bun bo hue mo lan and asked for an extra bowl to share and I ordered a coke (On which I paid, again as a yelp elite, I take pride in my reviews and never for a bribe). Now the broth was okay, lots of lemon grass but the broth taste a bit of the powder kind of flavor and not actually bone broth. You gotta add some fish sauce and lemon / limes to get out the flavor, lots of meats, I feel like you're getting your $15 bucks worth of good cut of meats, and it does not taste old at all. Decent noodles serving and lots of veggies. Overall, it's a okay bowl, you get your money worth of meats, just little piece of the pig's foot which on my bowl felt like it should be cook down a bit more since it wasn't that tender. Now the beef tendons was super soft and chewy, the liver blood was a nice cut, and it was just enough to share too. If you are just craving bun bo hue meats, this is the place to go and if you don't mind the flavor of the broth, come here. My mom and I give this bowl of bun bo hue a 6.7/10. Side note: There chili or satay isn't spicy, so if you have your own from home bring it or take order to go. (Which they had a lot of to go orders when we got there) Would we come back? Eh, if my mom or I aren't planning to make bun bo hue at home or if out and about in this area. Didn't have you know any bad foul smells or anything like that? And all was cooked perfection, especially in the ones the stir fry, with the ong choy. It definitely hit the spot and we would definitely recommend for everyone who loves snails, razor clams, and mussels to come. To top it all off, the service was so great. they purposely held the music down at a lower volume. As we were there at a later time which they said normally at about 10 o'clock, they have a live djj. And they really turn up the music, they have this every weeknight late night and all weekends, they'll play up the music. Sadly we chose this place wasted over $150 not including tips BBB was ordered; broth was so salty we had to ask for lemon wedges; they brought out a rice bowl filled with hot water with lemongrass to add into the bowl of BBH /strike 1 A side of tendons in broth ($5) was lukewarm. I asked to have it remade; they nuked it in microwave making the tendons even tougher to chew/strike 2 We specifically inquired if the scallops were whole pieces and not baby scallops; server said whole scallops. A platter was brought out with orange scallops shells filled with baby scallops smothered in salted egg yolks; nasty/strike 3 We ordered a lobster which our server forgot; had to inquired then it was brought out late towards end of our meal. Lobster was small enough to fit inside the palms of your hands. It was overcooked therefore it was rubbery/strike 4 2 drinks we ordered were too sweet needing iced water to dilute it/strike 5 Never again will we return here We don't recommend this place regardless of other reviews. I owe this review for a while now. They opened a new location since their old location burned down. I have to say they really upgraded the menu. Their snail and clam and seashell dishes are so good. The service may be slow on busy nights but trust me those servers never skip you they are more than happy to compensate. My favorite is Thai Style clams and Pepper escargot. They also have DJs on Fridays and Saturdays for those who love good music as they drink their night away. I highly recommend this place! Check it out! read more

I actually prefer this spot over Oc Lau because I never leave feeling overly full or bloated the way I often do at Oc Lau. The dishes come out quickly, and the staff is consistently friendly and accommodating. Their coconut snail really stood out to me; the garlic and aromatics gave it a depth of flavor I haven't found at other places. We enjoyed everything we ordered. On our first visit, there was a small mix-up with our order, but they corrected it right away and got the food out promptly. The decor is beautiful and gives off a very authentic street food stall vibe, which I loved. There's plenty of parking, and even when the restaurant is packed, the fast service means you're not waiting long to be seated.
