Great menu with a wide variety of seafood and other dishes. Everything we tried was super flavorful and delicious. Chicken feet- good and unique blend of fish sauce sweetness. Nice crispy exterior, but there wasn't much meat. Snails- very small snails, but packed with flavor. The satay and corn flavor reminded me of those addictive Asian snack flavors, like seasoned chips. Crispy Shrimp- Really tasty with rich, buttery garlic flavors. Slightly overcooked, making them a bit harder to peel, but still enjoyable overall. I wanted to try something different than OC & Lau around the area, and glad I did!

The decor is kind of hard to pin down, but parts of it gave me the vibe of being tucked away in an alley somewhere in Hong Kong- low-key, a little gritty, but in a cool, intentional way. Service was quick and non-intrusive. The food holds its own too. One thing I really liked is that with most dishes, you get to choose the sauce it comes with. It adds a nice level of customization, and it's especially great that they offer salted egg as an option which I don't see often.. Oysters w/ garlic butter: 8/10 - Fresh, huge, and super succulent. Lobster in salted egg yolk: 8/10 - Good portion for the price with decent-sized lobster tails. The sauce is the star here. Salted fish fried rice: 8/10 - Simple but really well done. Great mix of textures, and whatever they're doing with the seasoning works. Easily one of the better fried rices I've had in a while.

Glad To See That Ốc A Chảy Reopened After The Small Strip Of Businesses Burned Down Late Of 2024!! That Strip Was Also On Brookhurst But Closer To Trask Ave. Most Of You Might Remember It Taking Over KOC Crawfish. The New Location Is Closer To Garden Grove Blvd & Has Collaborated With Bún Bò Huế Mợ Lan. Was Greeted/Seated Right Away. Was Given 2 Different Menus. It Seems As If Each Table Was Given White Butcher Paper, Even If You Don't Order Any Bar/Beer Food (I.e., Crawfish, Sea Snails etc...) A Server Came By. Someone At My Table Ordered A Beverage & Before I Can Order Mine The Server Walked Away. Is That Common In A Typical Vietnamese Restaurant? Yes! Ha! I Tried The Bun Bò Thố Da, The Spicy Beef Noodle Soup Broth That Comes In A Hot Stone Bowl & Everything Else Is Plated. Missing The Aroma Of LemonGrass It Was Still Pretty Tasty. After Getting Home, I Felt The 'MSG' Come On! Also Tried The Fried Salt & Pepper Chicken Feet & Chicken Cartlidge. Pretty Good Stuff!!

everything was fast, fresh, and tasty. It didn't have much of a seafood taste, you really taste the sauces and toppings

Here in the morning at 10am for Bun Bo hue Mo Lan, I wanna say they shared a business with OC A chay because the menu where different in the morning or when we got there. Which was fine because I was craving bun bo hue, and I just finished filing my taxes which it was a couple of doors down the same plaza. This review is an honest one, I know there is a sign in near the cash register about placing a five star review for a soda, ON WHICH I DID NOT DO! AS A YELP ELITE, WE DO NOT TAKE BRIBES!! I spent my own money here. Keep in mind they don't take cards, only cash or you can zelle/ venmo them. They even provide a QR code for easy payment. My total bill was $20.11 (see picture) below and I had to zelle so be aware that they prefer cash. My mom and I wanted to try their bun bo hue since our favorite spot in GG quality has gone down and it wasn't the same owner anymore. We just ordered one bowl of bun bo hue mo lan and asked for an extra bowl to share and I ordered a coke (On which I paid, again as a yelp elite, I take pride in my reviews and never for a bribe). Now the broth was okay, lots of lemon grass but the broth taste a bit of the powder kind of flavor and not actually bone broth. You gotta add some fish sauce and lemon / limes to get out the flavor, lots of meats, I feel like you're getting your $15 bucks worth of good cut of meats, and it does not taste old at all. Decent noodles serving and lots of veggies. Overall, it's a okay bowl, you get your money worth of meats, just little piece of the pig's foot which on my bowl felt like it should be cook down a bit more since it wasn't that tender. Now the beef tendons was super soft and chewy, the liver blood was a nice cut, and it was just enough to share too. If you are just craving bun bo hue meats, this is the place to go and if you don't mind the flavor of the broth, come here. My mom and I give this bowl of bun bo hue a 6.7/10. Side note: There chili or satay isn't spicy, so if you have your own from home bring it or take order to go. (Which they had a lot of to go orders when we got there) Would we come back? Eh, if my mom or I aren't planning to make bun bo hue at home or if out and about in this area. I do like the decor and the theme of the place, my mom likes that there are cartoons about the restaurant bun bo hue.

I came here before going to karaoke and I was so happy I did. I loved the scene inside look like a movie set. I imagine a good amount of creativity was put into this place. As well as the service being fast and reliable. The food itself is worth the price. I was happy with my meal and got to make a good connection over it.

Quite great, better then we expected. We ordered couple seafoods grilled dishes, shaken beef w/ fried & rice. Bun bo hue in hot stone, banh mi o pls & sake. Parking was easy since it is in a big complex plaza. Great and friendly service. Foods are tasty and very yummy. The only thing that wasn't good was the shaken beef, it was abit under cooked and very chewy (old meat?), but the sauce is very tasty and delish. The place is decor with street food signs like and hand paired of Vietnamese restaurant names. With ceiling-to-floor window that over looked the parking lot. Quite lifely vibe. Overall it is a great place for both street foods and main dishes with great and caring services. They also honored Yelps review and they will give you 10% off of your total bill and they also accept zelle and Venmo for payment too.

We stop by here and trued based on the reviews. And also, because we want it to eat someplace that we have not tried yet for snails. we normally try a couple other places when we are in the LA area and on vacation. When we arrived inside, had a lot tables at the list packed already. It looked like a really great place to die. The staff on the floor were very nice and helpful. Help us get seated with the stroller. With our baby and everything they had nice lively music playing in the background. Looked like kind of like a young younger crowd mixed in with some families. They help us with the orders andy twin, that came out looked so good. And we couldn't wait to taste them all. I love the snails tasted very fresh clean. Didn't have you know any bad foul smells or anything like that? And all was cooked perfection, especially in the ones the stir fry, with the ong choy. It definitely hit the spot and we would definitely recommend for everyone who loves snails, razor clams, and mussels to come. To top it all off, the service was so great. they purposely held the music down at a lower volume. As we were there at a later time which they said normally at about 10 o'clock, they have a live djj. And they really turn up the music, they have this every weeknight late night and all weekends, they'll play up the music. They saw that because we have our baby with us, that they purposely would hold off on raisingbthe volune, until we finished up. So that was really soo nice of the attentiveness of the staff. We appreciated.

After our food arrived, there was no check in, no water refills, and you have to go up to the counter to pay. At least its very convenient, streamlined, and efficient! I found the food to have a great depth of flavor, something a lot of pho places lack. I especially liked the wider noodles which offered a nice chew and texture change. I knew about their fried chicken, but I didn't know they had chicken sandwiches too. I got the Spicy Vietnamese Chicken Sandwich, 4 wings, and garlic noodles. Tip: If you order through the app, you can skip the wait and get a free garlic noodle. I think it's only for your first order on the app, though, and I'm not sure how long the deal lasts. Wings -- 3/5 The wings were okay, but pretty mediocre. I got one flat and three drumettes, which was a little disappointing. The flavor and crispiness were both kind of lacking, and I ate them fresh too. The seasoning reminded me of that lobster green onion sauce you'd get at a Vietnamese-Chinese restaurant. Spicy Vietnamese Chicken Sandwich -- 4/5 The sandwich was definitely better. The chicken had a good crisp to it, but sadly, it was overfried and wasn't cooked evenly. The edges were noticeably darker than the center, and the chicken itself was thinner than I expected. The sauce didn't taste like anything particularly special either--it was giving spicy mayo, if anything. The vegetables and pickles made the sandwich taste similar to another famous chicken sandwich place. I actually liked it overall, but because the chicken wasn't fried evenly, I'd give it a 4/5. Garlic Noodles The garlic noodles were okay. They definitely had a lot of garlic, but I didn't think the cheese on top was necessary. It kind of ruined it for me. I won't rate this one since it was free, but I probably wouldn't order it again. Service wasn't bad. It was super busy when I went, so I had to wait a little longer than the estimated pickup time. There's ample seating inside, although the AC was kind of lacking. Overall, I'd probably come back for the chicken sandwich and give it another try, especially if a friend wanted to go. I wouldn't really recommend the other items I tried, though.

However, the star of the meal for me was the chả giò. Wow. Although they arrived after our pho, they came out at the perfect temperature.
