The food I would give 4 stars, it was good but nothing over the top, which I didn't expect. We got appetizers to enjoy on the patio and we certainly enjoyed them. What gave it a 5 for me was the gentleman (may have been the manager or owner, I don't know) that chased us down with his bike on the boardwalk to give me my water bottle that I left on the table. All staff were very kind and also the view was great. One of the better patios on the oceanfront IMO. I haven't been there at night but I'm sure the upstairs patio would be a great hangout for drinks with friends. read more

Really bad service from a girl that didn't speak much English (sounded German or Czechoslovakian) and food was nasty too. I had a crab cake sandwich which was massively overcooked to the point I said it was burnt. It was 105 degrees outside and I didn't feel like complaining so I ate the middle of it. It had very little crab meat and smelled funky. My wife had a crab dish also that was just a little crab meat, a lot of breading and a stick of butter. It too was burnt. We had one bud light each with lunch and the total was about $60 plus tip...............total ripoff. We will not go back unless it looks like things have changed drastically. read more

Had the seafood boat(scallops,shrimp,crab meat) not bad, hush puppies where good, decent amount of food, waitress was nice and prompt. Overall our group was pretty satisfied just a like high on prices. Guess pay a little more to eat on the beach. read more

I read some reviews but sill gave this place a chance. The service was bad and the food was average. We sat for at least 10 minutes before i had to ask for a waitress to come to our table. Then the food took a long time to come out. The waitress never came back to see if we needed anything(which we did) and the food was just ok. Next time I'm here for vacation I'll pass and go someplace else. read more

Staff was very friendly. The dishes we ordered were very tasty. The portions were on the small side and a bit on the pricey side though this was probably due to thw great beach front location. The restrooms and way up to them could use a good sanding down and refinishing. read more

Went today with my boyfriend and best friend. We got the Bunch of Stuff as an appetizer. It was great until I was eating one of the pieces of chicken. Half of it was completely UNCOOKED!! And I don't mean that it was slightly undercooked, but was raw meat with breading. Absolutely disgusting. Not sure how that you undercook something that bad. It was comped from our check and our server, Ashley, was awesome, despite the nasty attitude she was catching from the table next to us. She tried to relay the poor "excuse" the kitchen gave her as to why it was undercooked, but you could tell even she didn't believe it. There was no excuse for that and the manager should've at least had the courtesy to come talk to us (if there was even a manager there). However, knowing it wasn't her fault for our food and her genuinely sweet personality and concern with the food issue, we tipped her well. But we will not be returning. Very disappointing since we'd been a couple years ago and loved it, but I will not be able to forget the feeling of that piece of chicken going down my throat before I realized what it looked like. read more

So glad we stopped here on a whim to eat! We sat outside on the deck with a beautiful view of the ocean during sunset. Our waitress, Cheay, was amazing...very friendly and accommodating to our needs...the service could not have been any better! Everything was very good but the crab soup was exceptionally delicious ...I would highly recommend the soup and this restaurant! We will definitely be going back there again!!!! read more

I like eating outside and being able to see the boardwalk and the beach, and not a view of Atlantic Ave! The staff is friendly and attentive. The boardwalk calamari was great! My fried shrimp was very good too. But the prices are a little high. $12 for calamari, $18 for about 7 shrimp. My son got the pasta alfredo with grilled chicken ($19), and there's was maybe 3 oz of chicken. No side salad, no bread. read more

Fine, sometimes it's packed... but it's for a reason! There are so many run-of-the-mill restaurants along the boardwalk with mediocre (at best) food. This isn't one of them. If all food along the boardwalk has boardwalk prices, get the most bang for your buck here! The flounder sandwich, jerk chicken sandwich, king crab legs, house-made shoestring fries... it's all SO good and there's SO much food. I recommend starting with the calamari - it is more than enough to share! With live music a few nights a week and terrace seating overlooking the ocean on two floors, this place is a must, whether you live at the Beach or are just passing through. read more

Of my over 50 years of eating out, this topped the chart as the absolutely worse experience ever-- even thinking the entire time we were being 'punked' and on a hidden camera show. It was that bad. To be fair, it was the service that made this the worst-ever dining experience (and our first time ever only leaving a dollar tip; and that was because we were out of pennies). The view was amazing! The food was actually VERY good. But we were one of only two couples in the entire place when we sat down and 1/2 hour later couldn't even get a drink. Then we got it, but not what we requested. It went downhill from there: Our third person to our party arrived and it took another 1/2 hour to get their drink (she NEVER got the refill she requested and mine again came wrong). I had one allergy issue to work around which seemed to inconvenience our server who continually had quite an attitude despite my/our always friendly and polite demeanor. The food order was never taken. At about an hour I finally went to find a manager and only ran into our server, who I had a 'talk' with that we were thinking of paying for the two drinks and leaving. She finally took our order, only after still attending first to four other tables who were there much after us. We got our salads-- and withing about 60 seconds, out came the food. Again, it was very good-- but this whole ordeal took hours, we never got much of what was requested, some of it was brought incorrectly, including working around the one allergy issue I mentioned up front (and several times afterward)... and the server continued to completely avoid us for a reason we still can't understand. So, in summary: Awesome view, awesome food, terrible, horrible, outrageously bad service. We'd never go back. read more

Overpriced horrible food. We 1st ordered a screwdriver & a Long Island, the screwdriver came out in a pint glass that was mostly water w/a few ice cubes floating on top. Apparently they ran out of oj so he just made it with water. the Long Island was identical (not a Long Island). I ordered the blackened chicken pasta($20), the chicken wasn't blackened nor cooked properly, it had the texture of a Walmart steak. My fiancés Black & bleu burger he said was ok but the burger looked like one of those frozen patties you toss on the grill on the 4th. The only safe bet I can see ordering is one of their fried baskets, because if it's not being dumped in a fryer..most likely it's disgusting. I rarely complain or send food back, but this was horrible, it made Denny's look like a 5 star joint. The server was sweet & apologetic like she knows this place is a dump too.
