I'm so disappointed with my visit. I needed my nails on ASAP and my homegirl recommended me to Yvonne but she was out of town. I got put with Kim and i felt like she didn't care to do a good job on my set, I kept asking for her to fix the shaping and how some were pointier than others. Eventually I just gave up because I was running low on time. I spent 109$ on a full set and gel pedi just to come how and reshape my nail, take of the acrylic on my big toe because its so close to my Cuticle that it's causing irritation. The whole point of coming here was to save myself some time to where I didn't need to do these services myself. I feel like I was robbed of my money. So bummed out. read more

I showed up Saturday morning since my regualr nail spot (Bella's Spa) was fully booked. They helped me right away. BUT ...Never have I been to a nail salon where they hurt you once, not twice but 5 times!! I was bleeded from the side of two nails, my thumb still hurts today (it's monday). The lady started filing my skin under my nails on two nails! Every time I yelled "OUCH!" she would giggle and say "ohhhh hahaha sorry sorry" After about 5 times you kind of start thinking if she is doing this purposely or if she just literally doesn't know what she was doing? My gel color came out nice but the pain masks the manicure I got. I will NOT return here. Also, parking is soooo bad. only 3 spots and a handicap spot. This place use to be my go to spot when they first opened and they were great. I guess as they started getting more customers and made a bigger salon they stopped caring about their quality of work. The last 3-4 times I went , something has always gone wrong. For instance, I got gel and the color was all lumpy and ugly ... I didn't notice it until I got home and couldn't go back the same day to correct it. I went the next day to fix it. She tried to blame me and say it was my fault I didn't put my nails to the light. Which even if it was my fault, It's YOUR job to make sure the work, that I'm paying you for, to come out good. I've also had my eyebrows done and they were very rough and messed up my eyebrows. Seemed like they were just trying to get rid of me. I read a post before mine that said that they hate doing difficult work and it's true. They get annoyed if I ask for something extra. All these posts are true. You should believe them. This comes from someone that's given them many chances and have been going to them for the past year and now I have to look for another place because their quality and customer service has gone down. read more

I've been coming to Tiffany for the past 10 years. Tiffany is amazing, very gentle and has some creativity when selecting the color and art work for me. I love that I don't have to tell her what color I want, she knows my taste and style and has the color selected for me. I get my nails done every 2-3 weeks depending on the color. Everyone at the salon are super friendly and very knowledgeable. Yvonne is such an amazing artist. Her work is great too! I love how this salon has so many options in nail work and colors. They use good quality on their nail polish. The only downfall to this place is parking. They're very limited. I usually park next door, hoping that security doesn't catch me at tow my car away. LOL! Went in for mani/pedi for both me and my daughter. Had no appointment n got in quick no wait. I absolutely love my gel colors!!! My only complaint was I was charged $4 for a design that was not a design on my feet.... I asked to paint glitter polish over my polish for shimmer. N my hands were massaged with lotion but I guess the chair made up for it. I Left paying $53 spa pedi/mani gel on both (not including tip). Honestly, the service was okay. However, the people who work here are extremely disrespectful. While doing my nails they weren't so gentle. They were very harsh to the point where it hurt. I was told that a full set WITHOUT GEL would be $30 (which was fine) I picked out two color nail polish. Everything was fine till the check came out to be $50!!!When I communicate with the lady on why it came out to be so much she said because I put two different color nail polish and that the four nails that were different colors WERE BEING CHARGED $5 EACH. I was not told this until the end. I then ask her why she didn't tell me this before hand. Instead of helping and apologizing she just stood there and said "o" and kept explaining the prices. Ridiculous prices. They act like if this place is so glamorous. At my regular salon my set would have been $30. Get your workers in check. read more

This use to be my regular place. I never had complaints until my recent visit. I went in for a full set. I even payed extra for the liquid gel. 2 of my nails fell off 2 days after. I went in they put them back on for free. 3 days later all my nails started popping off. I went back in and they gave me a full set again for free, but I had to argue and try and prove that I had just got my nails done. The woman who did my nails tried to say I did a fill. They gave me an attitude and fixed my nails, BUT gave me one crooked nail and cut me on all of my fingers. I told her she hurt me and she kept doing it. As if she was pissed that they fucked up. 3 days later my nails broke again. So I will never come here again. Awful customer service and they do a shitty job! We go in on a Friday and it does not look busy they made us wait about 30 min after I had gotten there about 10 min before my appt. I went in for a mani and pedi and I recall a the girl's name, Tiffany doing my mani! And another lady working on my pedi and all of the sudden they start talking in their own language (talking crap obviously) and laughing. Baaaam.....WHAAAAT?!?!!? A guy getting a pedicure?!?! ORALE....hahahah. Any way, I came here a month ago with my wife, (she's a regular) because I was getting a very painful ingrown toenail. Besides, I work construction and constantly walking, not good. She drilled me for weeks to come here, finally I caved and I did. She said, "once one of them touch your feet, you'll never have no-one else touch them". Women are always right!! Faaaack... After that day my feet have felt great. I've never had a pedicure done, wow, now I know why women love these places. The ladies here are very friendly, polite, despite they're always talking Chinese...or what ever they speak, all good though. Though I do have to add, a few women mentioned the use of gel. I got an armpit waxing done here recently it was very quick and efficient 12$ for the price which is great I am very satisfied. It wasnt painful to my standards but I am a veteran to waxing everywhere from Brazilians to regular bikini to arm and legs key matter for me is just breathing and not tensing, tensing WILL absolutely make it hurt 10 times more. This is a little salon with friendly & polite staff. I liked chit chating with the male manicurist and this customer there. I would most likely go back there if I'm in need of a basic mani,pedi & waxing. I was a bit disappointed though, I was on a search for a salon that actually did GEL nails. So I pass by this salon and there was a neon sign that said "Gel Nails" so I figure they REALLY do gel. So I walked in ask for a gel fullset, the lady starts filing my real nails, ok that's normal, then she add the nail tips since I wanted french nails, but then she takes out her power&liquid and starts applying it, that's when I knew they don't really do gel nails, like most places, they claim they do gel nails just because they add a gel topcoat. That's definitely NOT gel nails! I just wish that these salons don't claim they do it if they don't, just say we only have gel topcoat! I love gel over acrylic and I rather just do gel forever, but lots of the salons that offer it are out of my way sometimes. Went for eyebrow and upper lip waxing. only $7 for eyebrowns, $5 for upper lip, so $12 total + $1 tip. cheapest ive ever gotten. the lady really took her time fixing my eyebrows and use several strips to make sure she got just the right curve. then she very meticulously shaped them with tweezers after. my new fave place for waxing. i really appreciated the care with which they did their job. she desereved a bigger tip but i didnt have anymore money sadly. love my new look tho and hope i can maintain it for a while. read more

After looking up this nail salon on Facebook I was confident that they would be able to do a pretty simple glitter fade on my nail. When I walked in I got my eyebrows waxed and the lady was really good took her time was really detailed afterwards she was also the one who would be working on my nails. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she said that she could do it no problem. I also asked if she could cut my cuticles as I hadn't been to a nail salon in a while, when it came to the style I wanted I could see she was trying but basically she painted half my nail with glitter and was not even a fade. I was unhappy and she could tell it so I asked if she could take off the polish and just do like a gem design. She took out the gems and then asked me how I wanted them placed on the nail, other salons I've been to just ask me what colors I want and then go for it, and as I've said earlier there Facebook pictures were pretty impressive. I then asked if she could just do a design and the one I picked out wasn't really how I imagined it either by then I had been there for a couple hours and just decided to pay and leave without my cuticles even being cleaned up and a few cuts from the buffer machine. I was introduced to this amazing nail spa by my coworker. She always has the most beautiful nails and gorgeous designs. I decided to try coming here a couple months ago and my goodness I have been so impressed! Make an appointment to make things easier. These ladies work so hard for customer satisfaction. They always have the most recent movies on for entertainment while you get pampered. I cannot say enough great things about Yvonne! She is absolutely fabulous! Any nail design picture that I show her, she is able to replicate it but better for my nails and my personal preferences! Each nail she does is absolutely flawless! The talent of this woman is incredible and I'm always so happy after I get my nails done. It's a little on the pricey side for the designs I want because I'm pretty picky but trust me, it's worth every penny. I'm giving this place one star for many reasons. 1st off, they ask what shape you want but for some reason the nails never match. There are always some more pointy at the edges than the others and some are round. This is not the first time, but after getting my nails done last week, the shape of my thumb nails are very off. One looks like a square and has very sharp edges and the other one is also a square but one edge is round and the other edge is pointy. One of my thumbs also came out clumpy from the gel nail polish and it has a noticeable pink piece of lint stuck on it. The major reason I'm giving this place a one star is because almost every time I have come here for a pedicure, one specific lady always cuts my big toes. I wouldn't be complaining if it was just a small cut. I know accidents happen. They have cut my fingers before and made me bleed but it wasn't a big deal. However, every time this one specific lady does my pedicure she digs in way too deep and always pulls a bunch of my skin off and every single time it has resulted in an infection. My toe hurts for days after and is swollen and red where she cut me. What upsets me the most is that she never even apologies when she cuts me. I wish I knew her name but unfortunately I don't. I use to love coming to this place, I drive all the way from downtown LA to Monterey Park just for this place but the last few times have been very disappointing..I show up and they're always busy..you need an appointment to even get seated. Like really?! Why don't you just put a sign outside saying Don't bother coming in, appointment needed. You would think they would be smart enough to hire more people to keep their clientele from walking out. Never again! Based on the reviews I've read I'm surprised this place is still open. I had previously been a Ocean nail customer (when Tammy owned it) had heard it was under new ownership and decided to give it another try. From the moment my children and I walked in the staff made us feel so comfortable. Right away I was seated and pampered. They went as far as asking my children if they would like to see a movie which I truly appreciated (I usually don't make it a habit to bring my children along). What I liked the most was they were not pushy or rude like most nail salons. (Example: You say you want a mani-pedi solid color and that's exactly what you get. No one asking over and over if you want a flower or zebra design just to make a few extra dollars at the expense of annoying and making their customers uncomfortable.)Nonetheless I will definitely revisit soon. read more
