The crab legs, lobsters, crawfish, and potatoes, and corn at this spot was decently good. The sauce that they used was okay, it felt like it wasn't marinated or soaked into the seafood though. At least they were sauces where you can't bare the taste after a while. They were salty, some tasted like peanut butter, and the spicy sauce wasn't too spicy. The food was great, service was great, until It was time to pay. I attempted to Tap pay after seeing 2 people before me pay Via tap pay. All of a sudden the machine is broke and they need my card. Ordered from here for the first time and what a pleasant surprise! When it arrived all the food was well packaged and sealed. The taste was exquisite! They are not cheap with the crab legs. I ordered 2 lbs and I got so much. The spice level was perfect. My also ordered shrimp and to my surprise, I got jumbo shrimp! Their fish tacos are also delicious. Lobster Mac and cheese is just boring Mac and cheese with some lobster and cheese thrown on top. Shrimp ceviche is not ceviche. It's boiled small shrimp in V 8 juice with tomatoes, onions and avocado. Needs vodka and it's a Bloody Mary. Lobster bisque is Campbell's tomato bisque with lobster meat. Chicken wings are breaded and wrong. Fish tacos and fried fish, lettuce and sauce. King crab boil was the winner but super salty. And oh, MSG is in everything because I react badly to it and this was worse then cheap Chinese take out. However, service is friendly and helpful and always around. No one brought a menu to my table, and the waitress bluntly asked, "Do you want food?" I ordered the catfish, which arrived with a nice golden crust but was raw inside. Exhausted from a long workday, I reluctantly ate it. When I wanted another lager, I couldn't get anyone's attention for almost 10 minutes and had to leave my seat to get service. By the time I got my drink, my meal was nearly finished. I asked to speak to the manager, who blamed my lack of service on the fact that I was wearing headphones. For example, I ordered a lobster Mac n cheese that had literally three tiny shreds of lobster. Completed an order online. The site said they opened at ONE. I scheduled my order for one. When I arrive, I am informed they actually open at TWO. Our delivery order consisted of two appetizers: nicely seasoned calamari (which came with cajun fries) and an order of cajun mac & cheese (this had a really nice subtle kick to it). Food was always great. Came here multiple times and always have the best food and service. But yesterday I came with my son and ordered like what we used to have , oyster with garlic sauce and clams. Asked the Spanish server to take the potato out for the oysters we ordered coz I don't eat potatoes,potatoes makes me bloated. And the server said Oh we can't do that.. The biggest difference is the size of the restaurant and the amount of people. On 37th Ave, it's on the smaller size and a ton of customers. This location is bigger but not packed (yet). Place looked nice and new so I decided to give it a try. Really wanted to go to the Crab House in Manhattan, but gave in to trying this pace since it was 10 minutes closer and boy do I regret that decision. The service was great, staff is very attentive, however, the chefs need to learn how to cook seafood. The seafood came out over cooked and cold in temperature. The shrimp was very warm, but the snow crab legs were very cold. This is overpriced, overcooked seafood. I paid $116 in cash for 2lbs of Snow Crab Legs and 1lb of headless shrimp. On my way out, one of the workers yells "wait, wait, stop! You didn't pay!" I turned around and messed with him and said, "I don't pay for bad food" and he looked at me all confused and asked "why?" Then I said "because it was bad" lol. Then his other workers told him that I paid in cash and took care of them very well with a $21 tip! Everything was nice here and except the food. I recommend not overcooking it and bringing it out hot like Monster Crab in Carle Place does.
