My husband, mother in law and I had a lovely dinner here on the patio. We opted for the front small patio by the front door because our dog was with us. We got the poke nachos to share to start and then each ordered entrées. I love a fish entrée so I went with that. My husband went all out with the fish and chips that also came with fried shrimp too. We also did the shrimp scampi which we did with pasta compared to the other preparation. They were also super nice and go our pup some grilled chicken and veggies for him to enjoy too and they were generous portions. I love being able to dine on the water and have easy parking. I would love to come back another time and dine inside.

Came to the Oceanside Broiler to celebrate my friend's bday. What a lovely afternoon. Service was top notch, food was great. They have an all day type happy hour menu. We tried the following, ahi nachos, fried zucchini, coconut shrimp, mini cheese burger, tuna avocado sandwich, clam chowder, the wedge salad and oysters. Everything was delicious. We ate everything. The service was stellar. Location lovely, outside seating over looks the Marina. Give them a try!

Really good service. I love the vibe and the food. Our server, Irish, was super attentive and friendly. Shoutout to Robert for checking in on us as well. I recommend.

My wife and I were visiting the Pier for the first time. It was around 11:30 and we had been driving for almost 3 hours We had stopped by and asked a couple friendly 'natives' on what was a good restaurant to eat at. Both suggested this restaurant, and one thought that the Happy Hour is very close. We saw the sign and it said that Happy Hour was .... 11am - 6pm! Wow! We went in and was seated right away. I ordered Fried Calamari and it was great and delicious. What was unusual was that it felt more 'solid' and meatier than any other calamari we've ever eaten! Yummy! My wife ordered one of her favorites - Chicken Wings and that was also great. The only minor thing was that the server initially didn't seem overly friendly and a bit abrupt. Later, it seemed that she was much better, so we basically "let it go" Food was served very quickly. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Giving it a 5 because it was a great atmosphere and I sat outside where the breeze was breezing. Now for the review, my clam linguine had barely any clams and mostly shells. I didn't want to say anything as we had a large party but please pay attention or order something else. The Diet Coke was crisp and the bread was fresh. Also the server was attentive and friendly. Over all good experience but I did leave hungry as my meal had only carbs and no protein.

My mom and I love coming here when we're at the harbor, especially for their chargrilled oysters. She's never been a fan of oysters, but these ones are an exception. I always bring my dogs and we order them a grilled chicken breast to share and they always bring a bowl of water out for them. The patio is really nice to sit at, and there's not really a bad seat anywhere out there. The fisherman's combo is massive, but really good. Their dinner bread is warm and soft. The staff is always nice and welcoming.

What an incredible experience! A stunning waterfront restaurant with amazing seafood, a fun coastal vibe, and an absolutely outstanding staff. Angie and her team went above and beyond, bringing out all their favorites -- the snapper, fish and chips, and a fantastic spread of appetizers that had everyone at the table raving. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. We were celebrating Lucciano's graduation from the Marines, and this was the perfect place to do it. From the service to the food to the setting, everything exceeded our expectations. Can't recommend this spot enough for celebrations, family gatherings, or just a great meal by the water!

This is an old school establishment in the harbor with pretty views and seating inside and out. When you walk in, you can tell it's frequented by locals. People swear by the happy hour. I have been here a few times. Once pre covid for a breakfast buffet and the other times for happy hours. I have always enjoyed what I ordered. They have specials by the day and they send email specials if you subscribe. 3 of us came for dinner on this occasion. They had a $10 off salmon coupon and I just ordered happy hour specials. We all had a drink, a hh margarita, beer & a virgin mango drink. The server was beyond nice and accommodating. My friends each ordered coconut crusted salmon which looked pretty and tasted good. They both enjoyed every bite. I had a Caesar salad which was good but had a touch too much dressing and steamed clams. The clams were cooked well and a generous portion but there were a few that were unopened. The server continued to check on us frequently and kept our water filled. I will definitely come back sunset happy hour here is really nice!

Happy Hour starting at 11am? Oh, yeah! We sat on the patio and had a beautiful view of the harbor. Our server, I think her name was Katie, was friendly, helpful and attentive. To drink, we ordered a glass of chardonnay and a bloody mary. My bloody mary was spicy and had a good kick! To eat, we tried the calamari, fried zucchini, the wedge salad and the ahi poke nachos. The calamari were big, plump strips of calamari battered and deep fried. They were fresh and tasty. The zucchini was fresh and had a panko-ish breading and also deep fried. The wedge salad was just the right size for a small entree (after having fried food) and the poke was delicious as well. My only complaint was the pickled ginger on the poke, not a fan. We will definitely be going back to try more of the happy hour options...there were a lot! 10/10

Classic Oside spot. A bit grungy, harbor views, and standard American fare. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Oside. Parking is plentiful in the lot or on the street. Walk down the street after to see the Oceanside sign. They boast a happy hour every day from 11 AM to 6 PM. It feels gimmicky, kind of like those sushi places that are perpetually 50% off. Food was decent for what it is.

We went here today. Looking for something decent and quick. . It has nice view of the water. We sat in outside patio area. The food was sustainable. I enjoyed my chicken lettuce wraps. Fish combo has a generous size. They have a long happy hour 11-6 , and til 8:30pm. Our services was hospitable. Parking near by.

This was my second visit with my last being two years ago. I had a blueberry vodka lemonade. It had a good amount of liquor. We ordered spinach dip but since we didn't specify, it came with our food. I had the shrimp quesadilla. It was very good. I like that the shrimp were chopped. My husband ordered the linguini with clam sauce. He wasn't really happy with his choice. The pasta was overcooked. A number of clams were empty. However the taste of the dish was good. Sitting on the patio with views is amazing. We will go back and try more options. The server did apologize for the miscommunication.

Food was decent and the ambience is nice but not upscale. The prices are high even for the marina area.

    Is there a happy hour?

YES! It's unusual from ... 11am - 6pm! I reviewed this restaurant and talked about it.. Yummy lunch…

Is the Sunday brunch a buffet? There's no info about it on their website. What are the brunch times, and how much per adult?

    How's the clam chowder?

Clamp chowder is very full of clams,, and quite good

    How is the calamari?

It's actually very good and fresh. Not rubbery like some places. My party loved it

Do they take reservations? Thanks to the crew here on Yelp - yes they do. The only caveat is that they only take reservations for larger parties. Table for 4 is just a walk in.

Yes, they do take reservations although I haven't needed a reservation for lunch but dinner can sometimes be very busy.

What time and days is happy hour?

I know there is happy hour every day, but I think the times changed

Does this have outdoor seating and beach views?

Yes, they have a nice patio area. In the front of the restaurant and a large side patio area. They are pet friendly. We had a fabulous lunch and the service outstanding. The view of the boats was a beautiful scene and relaxing

    How much is corkage fee?

Literally so good, fresh and full of flavor. * Tomato - smoked blue cheese, piquillo pepper, meyer lemon, opal basil. Very fresh and great for summertime but nothing you can't make at home if I'm being honest. * Broccoli - chermoula, lime, peanut. This was unbelievably amazing and not your typical broccoli. I'm sure even those who don't like broccoli would enjoy this. * Crudo yellowfin - aji amarillo, charred avocado, guava. Omg, I loved this and could have eaten the entire plate by myself. The aji was just enough without being overpowering. * Pork belly smoked - stinging nettle, snap pea, wasabi. Once again, another amazing dish. It had that melt in your mouth kind of texture and was so smooth but not spicy. * Octopus - smoked celery root, spanish chorizo, basil chimichurri. Really amazing & tender + it was recommended from our server since "you can't just get good octopus anywhere" and I 100% agree! I've heard a lot of good things about this place so I wanted to give it a shot. Managed to get a reservation, we arrived 10 minutes early and ended up at the bar for 5 min waiting on our table. The atmosphere here is pretty cool. A very rustic feel. Tables are far enough apart that you can hold a conversation. Ordered the corn bread, crudo, ribeye along with a couple drinks. - Corn bread. Good. A bit dry. The butter was not quite strong enough. Could have done with a bit of honey or something on it. Something a bit thicker. Still above average. - Crudo - amazing. Just simply amazing. We loved everything about it. The guava taste was unique and the sauce was thick enough to not be overpowered by the yellowtail. - Ribeye - Good, but nothing special. The charred outside had a since flavor. The chimichurri hit the spot. - Potato side for the ribeye didn't show up even though we ordered it. - Cheesecake was solid. Food was above average but not WOW except for the crudo. The service needs work. Server did not put in our potato side dish so it didn't come in time for the meal. Drinks were not refilled on time. We sometimes couldn't find a server to help us when we needed little things. Then when we did manage to run one down it took forever to get something. Overall, this place is a cool concept.
