What a great spot with an outdoor patio with a beautiful view. This place is right on the water and has a bar outside for that perfect view. Last time I came I even saw dolphins, now that's a rare site in the harbor. This place is large with a lot of seating, the outside is a bit small but it's worth the wait for a seat. The menu is large and offers a lot of seafood, so if you love seafood then this is your place. The drinks are great, I really enjoyed the Bloody Mary and margaritas. The happy hour menu is also a really great deal. Hands down the best muscles I've ever had, the sauce they were in is excellent. A perfect creamy garlic sauce that compliments the perfectly cooked muscles wonderfully, and I really liked that they included bread with it as well. I liked the muscles so much that I came back the very next day for them. They are incredibly good you won't be able to stop thinking about them! At least that's what happened with me. The guacamole is surprisingly very good as well, seems like they are a hit with the food that I've tried thus far. I can't wait to try more of the menu, the dinner menu is large and has tons of fish. Couldn't have been a better day to have lunch outside on the patio. The larger lanai was being renovated but it didn't matter, the harbor was just beautiful. Irish was our server and she was very attentive and very nice. Kept our drinks full and gave us time to visit with old friends before we ordered. We all decided to have the Mahi Mahi tacos and it was a great decision. They were really tasty and tender. The black beans and rice were good sides. No complaints about food or service but it was pretty pricey. Lunch for 3 was $85 plus tip. I do recommend the spot for the ambiance alone and the great food is a big plus. read more

The restaurant is a tourist destination and not geared towards locals.. I ordered a perfect margarita with a premium tequila and the drink had no alcohol in it. Told the waitress and she said well do you want an extra shot of alcohol in it? I said no i don't want to pay for a drink with no alcohol. So she said okay then i will bring you another with extra tequila.. Drink came and was better. I had two drinks that night. When i received the check they charged me 52 dollars for the 2 margaritas... I was shocked.... The food was overpriced and meager in proportion. All in all just wasn't what we hoped it to be at all. Sat at the bar, directly in front of the kitchen and literally watched the cooks eating off the line the entire time we dined, not one word of that is an exaggeration. Service and patio atmosphere was awesome! The HH food just ok. $8 baja fish taco bland compared to Johnny Mananas's $3.50 fish taco. Mussels had 4 unopened and uneatable ...so a waste of money. Chef should know not to put out unopened Mussels.(waitress response...well they discounted on HH, so that makes up for it) Zucchini ok but not great. Will go back for beers on the harbor, but probably not for food. read more

With plentiful outdoor seating an a great view of the national, it's a nice place for a boozy lunch. We came here for a boozy lunch and we were not disappointed. Delicious and strong Mai Tais for $7.00. Calamari strips for $9. A roast beef dip slider and fries for $9... it was a real bargain. Definitely mid week is more of the senior set, but they didn't mind us crashing their lunch spot. read more

Located at Oceanside Harbor, this restaurant offers outdoor happy hour with a beautiful view of the sunset, boats and water. Our server was Melissa. She was very upbeat and informative. She made us feel welcomed and gave us great suggestions for our next visit. We sat out on the heates patio and ordered the coconut shrimp, chicken lettuce wraps and fish & chips. All were so good. I'm picky with my fish & chips but this one was cooked perfectly not a lot of soggy oil and the fish tasted good. The lettuce wrap cups were also good but it was a lot in a small serving. My husband and I came here and we pretty disappointed. It took a good 15 minutes to meet our server. Another 10 to get drinks and order food. After we ordered, we never saw our sever again. We ended up getting an emergency call and I had to go in and get the check that our server then brought out. Our food was apparently ready by then but we took it to go. One of my favorite restaurants. I love oysters and the ones here are so fresh and not real tiny. Sometimes just an order of oysters and appetizer sampler platter is enough on its own. I KNOW crabcakes and this place does them up right. This used to be Monterey Bay Canners Back in the day. Food was great then, but the resto looked bad shape over the years. Great happy hour menu! The best part? It's EVERY DAY. I got a Broiler Blonde for $5, and they have a variety of food options ranging from $6-8. Best value might be the mini bar burger for $7. Had a great meal here! We were so fortunate to have had Irish for a server. She is without a doubt The Most Gregarious server I've ever known! She was so attentive and caring to everyone in our party and was such a delight to be around. The restaurant is nice and situated on the marina. It's clean and comfy. The food was great. We were hungry when we arrived and therefore couldn't resist the dinner bread, a generous hunk of delicious warm sourdough that was worth the $5. Wife ordered the clam chowder and loved it. Son ordered the cioppino and said that it was excellent. It was quite a lovely presentation in a small skillet. They also shared the grilled oysters and both were over the moon with those. My fish and chips were very good, not too large of a portion and the tartar sauce was unique & tasty (like it had some pesto in it). We came to Oceanside to see my grandkids, and decided to come here for dinner. Place is really nice, the atmosphere is casual, and they have a super nice patio with heaters. The food is ok, nothing to write home about...but the service we received was stellar. My girl fell and needed a bandaid and they helped us immediately. Then the wait staff was so accommodating. Location/view is great. Service was decent. Drinks were good. I really wanted to like this place. I ordered the prime rib. When it arrived I thought it looked a little funny; was a tan color, even the marbled fat was opaque, not translucent. However, everyone else in my party of six had their meals, and I chalked it up to possibly a different cooking method that I was not aware of, maybe even a seasoning. First bite was a little off-putting. Sometimes I will attribute that to the flavor of the drink I just had. Second bite no better, I was really hungry, so one more bite, and that was it. So bad, actually tasted like it was spoiled. The server even approached me, seeing the look on my face, and asked me if I was okay. I told her honestly, and she was kind enough to take it back and bring me something else to eat. Having said that, by the time I received it, the rest of my party was done with their meal and sat waiting for me to eat. Uncomfortable at best. I expected that I would be sick. It did not get to that level fortunately, most likely because I stopped eating it quickly, but there was some stomach discomfort. Here's my greatest disappointment. Mistakes happen. However, something like this was completely avoidable, and possibly intentional. Intentional, that is, to save cost by selling a piece of meat that was old. Certainly avoidable. Any chef that just looks at a plate should be able to tell that something is wrong. Goes back to choosing to send something out that should not have been. Not good, will not be back. read more

We sat inside (needed some AC) but they have a nice outdoor patio overlooking the harbor. Cathy was our server and she was just lovely. So sweet and kind and attentive, and she gave quick, professional service. She recommended some places for us to go shopping and some things for us to do while we are in town. The food was very good. My mom had the orange salmon, I had the snapper, and my cousin had a French dip. We walked away happy and full. I think we missed it it, but I'm pretty sure they have a notable happy hour. We stopped by the Broiler with a group of five and were not disappointed. Between the five of us we ordered about 12 appetizers and desserts. The roast beef slider and burger sliders were a favorite. The calamari, grilled oysters and zucchini were also very good. The coconut shrimp was delicious as were the bread pudding and creme brulee desserts. Our server Melissa was attentive and on point. The location on the water provided a good view of the harbor. Due to the wind and cool weather, I would recommend that anyone trying this place out for the first time bring an extra coat. You may not catch a chill, but a few people in our group did. Once the sun goes down and the wind picks up, it gets chilly. Overall, I give this a 3-4 out of 5. Covid style review! I don't give many 5 stars. A place has to exceed expectations to get all stars from me. We dined here after a nice walk. There was a large group of us and we had the patio. The service was excellent, they handled the crowd and took great care of us! The patio was nicely spread out, as was the inside dining room. The great - Great happy hour selection for food and drink.
