I regularly eat at this restaurant, it's my go to place after grocery shopping at Kroger. They no longer offer the poke bowls but I love their sushi! Their menu has many sushi options and offer great deals like the lunch and dinner combo. For $11.99 at lunch, you can get a full roll + a full California roll + a side salad. I have tried the rock & roll, hungry roll, and Midway roll; I definitely would suggest them! The inside has a little seating but it's more of a place to grab take-out. The rolls are good portions and the fish is always fresh. My one and only complaint is the side salad (which is not a deal breaker since I'm here for the sushi). The side salad is very simple, ice burg lettuce, chopped onion, and tomato. The dressing is a strong mustard vinaigrette. I typically don't eat it. The owner is super kind. I typically go to the Addison location, but figured this one would be the same. I was wrong. This one has much better decor and plenty of area to fill out the form when there's a line. However, the food is definitely different. Plus there's fewer seating. Unlike the Addison location where you can see the fresh food, this one has it facing away from customers. I love the crab salad at the other location. This one is terrible. It looks strange and has a weird texture to it. They offer tempura shrimp, which the Addison location does not, but it's very soggy. We threw it out. The rice is also different. It's not the same sushi rice. It's almost like regular rice. Also the portions are smaller here. I love CBowls and gave the Addison location 5 stars. Made a stop here on the way to a friend's wedding and had a craving for something savory but still on the healthier side. I do like that Cbowls has a streamlined process for ordering either a Poke bowl or a Sushiritto -- when you walk in, on the right hand side are some slips of paper where you can mark down all that you want in your poke bowl. It's simple and easy, and it shows you all of the options you have. The reason why I only give Cbowls 3 stars is that compared to other Poke places in Texas, they really limit you on toppings and do not have as many choices in terms of sauces/toppings to pick from. They also charge extra for another choice in protein, so you can either pay the regular price for one scoop of one kind or protein, or add $3 for another type of protein. I think most poke places I've been to allow two scoops of two different kinds of protein in their regular sized bowl, at least. It's a pretty good Poke place overall with quick service but limited options. read more

On a recommendation of a friend, I had popped by for a quick lunch during my rehearsal break. The curb-side appearance of the restaurant wasn't very conspicuous, but upon entry, it was obvious they were serious about sushi. The sushi is delicious and the sashimi is very high-quality. A concern that anybody has with food of this kind is the price; however, I can assure you that Oda Sushi is very reasonable for its calibre of serving. As somebody who loves octopus, tuna, and octopus, I had a wonderful time devouring these delicious dishes. The chef was extremely kind, and even though it seemed he was short on time with all the lunchtime orders, he made sure to check back if there was any little bit more he could better accommodate us. I never give a review but for this place I have to. If my 14 year older wasn't with me I wouldn't of stepped foot into this restaurant. She wanted sushi and I was under a time crunch. First problem the door is filthy it looks like it's never been cleaned. 2nd problem inside is even worse very dirty. 3rd We could see the chef it was blocked with bamboo sticks but we could still see how he prepared our food WITHOUT gloves!! Also he didn't have a hair net. Although the sushi was decent I will never order from here again. Hire someone to clean your restaurant and don't watch the chef prepare food without gloves and not say a word. I'm just worried about sanitary purposes. Amazing build your poke bowl! They also have a couple house specialty bowls that looked delicious but I did the build your own. The large size is enough to split for 2 people especially if you add extra protein. I did the tuna/salmon and added the eel. I highly recommend adding eel.to anything you get there.
