3 stars - Fine We went here for brunch on Sunday. They don't take reservations, so be prepared to get there early or wait. We waited 30ish minutes for a table. The large windows, high ceilings, and exposed brick create a great atmosphere. Our server was friendly. It was very busy, so we did not interact with them much. The food itself was fine. I had the stuffed brioche French toast ($22) with a side of eggs. My French toast was a little cold, but I attributed that to it being stuffed with the whipped mascarpone. My biggest issue with the dish was that it was lacking sides. Almost every other place I have been to would serve French toast (stuffed or regular) with eggs, meat, and some form of starch. I shouldn't have to add a side (and pay more money) to make the dish whole. For the table, all our dishes were small portions and expensive. I would probably go here again, but not if I was very hungry.
Had a great dinner at Oddfellows tonight! We had a reservation for 3 at 6:15 and were seated as soon as we walked in. The hostess was very nice and so was our server. For drinks we decided on a glass of wine, an aperol spritz and a beer. All were perfect. For starters we chose the eggs and burrata. We all loved the burrata with the apple and walnuts. Such a great combination that felt fresh. For mains we did the burger with blue cheese and the roast chicken. Both were what we were looking for. The vibe of the restaurant was cozy and relaxing and the staff really helped but us at ease and gave us a great evening.
First time at Oddfellows Cafe + Bar for brunch with a group of coworkers, and overall it was a really solid experience. The interior is casual and inviting with a farm-style vibe that makes it an easy place to hang out and catch up. There's plenty of seating; when we arrived around 11am it was pretty slow -- but by noon the place filled up fast, so clearly it's a popular spot. We all shared the Burrata appetizer, which ended up being my favorite thing I tried here. Perfectly grilled bread balanced with fresh Burrata, apples slices, golden raisins, celery, parsley, and something delicious sprinkled on top of it all. A very satisfying appetizer! I ordered the Croque Madam based on a recommendation, and it definitely delivered. Very rich and filling, with lots of cheese -- definitely on the heavier side, but really good. I also tried the brown sugar cinnamon latte. Flavor-wise it was just okay, but the coffee quality itself stood out. Service was quick and attentive, which was great for a work brunch. My only real complaint was the wobbly tables -- every time someone lifted their hands, the whole table moved, which got a little distracting. That aside, the atmosphere is great and it's a casual, comfortable spot I'd happily come back to. Especially looking forward to trying items off of their happy hour and dinner menus.
Very cute brunch spot in Cap Hill, but the food and price overall did not meet expectations. We ordered the spicy green shakshouka and stuffed French toast - the food was good... but considering portions and size, we were not satisfied. The shakshouka was more of their take on a shakshouka with green chili.. and not at all like shakshouka I've had in the past. It was still a good savory dish, just not what I was expecting The brioche stuffed French toast dish was only a single piece of toast that got cold quick- we weren't impressed with it Overall, it's a pretty space, but considering the portions, price, and taste aren't enough to bring me back.
Cute spot in the heart of Capitol Hill which is nifty, but wasn't too impressed with the food. Definitely paying a premium for the ambiance and convenience. Smoked Ham Benedict - a very simple combo of smoked ham, potatoes, and eggs benedict. Ham and potatoes were delicious! Hard to go wrong with smoking ham, so that met expectations, but potatoes were roasted and salted well. The benedict fell short of hopes though. Hollandaise sauce wasn't very evident and the English muffin base was overly soggy.
Great service, and delicious food@ The interior is pretyt chill and cozy, but can feel kinda cramped when there are too many people inside. the waiter we had was so friendly, adn offered some recs. I got hte avocado toast and the stuffed french toast. i thought both were SOOO so good. you def need to get the french toast. it was mroe on the pricier end, given the size but also it was fine, that might be seattle. everythig was delicious and im gald i came here.
Daughter and I stopped in after visiting the book store next door. We both had great luck with the drinks from the bar. The Bloody Mary had a tajin rim and was extra bloody with just the right amount of hot! Try the Frits with aioli sauce while covering your pallet with their delicious smash burger. Loved the building that has the feeling of being back in time. A wonder of history with a whirl of Bloody Mary delight!
I came to this area to visit a few shops and decided to grab a Monday brunch time meal to kick off my day. I was seated right away as a table of one (1) and surprisingly got the corner spot near the entrance. This was perfect for me as a solo traveler as I had plenty of space to get myself situated as I waited for my latte. The table/booth area is so cute and comfortable. I had a banana nut latte paired with a sweet potato and mushroom poached egg special they had for the day. The service I received was kind, quick, and prompt. I never had an issue and really enjoyed my time here as I planned the rest of my walking/shopping tour in Capitol Hill. Never a wait on a Monday either and there was plenty of space for large groups to come in and get seated.
I visited Oddfellows on a Monday morning for brunch with a couple of my friends. My friend & I walked over so we didn't have to worry about parking. Our friend who got there earlier had ordered beignets with jam for the table, & they were still nice & warm when we arrived. The server who was helping us was so friendly & was very attentive throughout our meal. The restaurant was quite crowded, but we surprisingly didn't wait too long for our dishes. I ordered their green shakshouka, one of my friends had their chorizo & yukon potato hash, & my other friend tried their sausage breakfast sandwich. We all loved our dishes & enjoyed our time at Oddfellows. I would love to go to Oddfellows again & try their drinks the next time I visit Seattle!

Came back for the second time and I will say... it did NOT disappoint!! Ordered the sausage breakfast sandwich and it was delicious. The service was wonderful--so kind and attentive. as a party of 2 on a tuesday, we were seated immediately. upon first impression, the place is nice and cute, open comfortable space. however, the tables have a sticky/grimy feel to it. you can't slide the dishes across the table because of how sticky the table is -- quite literally have to unstick it to pick it up and move. as for the food: - latte: tastes watered down and bland. i got the seasonal flavor (lavender chamomile) and i couldnt taste anything. - biscuit & eggs: pretty standard as you would expect, the biscuit was nice and not too dry. - baked eggs: not sure if i misinterpreted the dish as it was my first time trying it, but the only eggs seem to be the 2 poached ones on the top. the base layer of the dish is hard to describe -- it's runny (not scrambled eggs), and salty like a cheese with bits of ham pieces scattered throughout. the bread is also a great addition, i used it like a dip for the dish. it was a tasty dish overall, but i did burn the roof of my mouth from how hot the cheese is so just be careful. read more
GET THE MATCHA MARTINI i cannot stop thinking about this drink!!! as a fellow espresso martini loverrrr, i immediately had to order the matcha martini when i saw it on the menu & i've been on the hunt for another one since then!! the espresso martini was also delicious, but the matcha martini was life changing server was very sweet & the place was well lit and super cutely decorated, although some tables are really close to neighboring tables for food, my group ordered: eggs benedict : 7/10 very average wasn't anything special shakshouka : 6/10 chorizo & yukon hash : 9.5/10 this was SOOOO good everyone's favorite biscuit eggs & gravy : 7/10 deviled eggs : 7/10 most of the food was just average brunch food that was nothing special, but i'd recommend the chorizo hash that was delicious! and again definitely try the matcha martini read more
A decent sized cafe with a good amount of seating inside the Elliott Bay Book Co in the Capitol Hill area of Seattle - known for its trendy, eclectic, hipster vibes. Seems like a neighborhood spot that blends rustic charm with modern flair - good mix of tourists and locals like students on their laptops or friends just hanging out. It's a warm and inviting ambiance with exposed brick walls and white tables and benches. A good selection of drinks and snacks. Service was friendly and the person in front of me got the wrong order, but they offered to remake it while he enjoyed the wrong one if he'd like. read more
The restaurant is a gorgeous rustic-style open space spot, but the food leaves something to be desired. I ordered the French onion soup, which I'd recommend out of everything else, but the side of roasted vegetables came cold. My friends ordered the roasted vegetable sandwich, the rigatoni, and side of salad which were just fine. Beyond all this, service was poor. It was so apparent our waitress did not want to be there to the point it was funny to us. She suddenly perked up when we were paying (and choosing tips) but overall not very present. read more
- Pretty breakfast place with bench (no back) seating on large tables and 2-tops with chairs/benches with back support. Nice festive decorations with hanging strands of lights and decorations. - walk up cafe bar / pastry service also available in addition to sit down (it used to be that you MUST order standing and THEN find a seat. This is no-more, thank goodness). - food was good but not great. Nicer ingredients than a greasy spoon diner but also not top-shelf either -- somewhere in between. - I don't think I read the menu closely, as it probably told me the French toast was 1 giant piece the equivalent of 6-slices of normal bread -- I would have preferred a couple of slices for more butter/syrup surface area. - partners croque madame was pretty good, though she shared that she's still on the lookout for someplace better tasting. Best Eggs Benedict I have had in a long time! The vibe inside was super nice with a big inside seating area, a full coffee counter, and nice large ceilings. We had really quick service and everyone in my group enjoyed their food. Def a staple brunch spot in Cap Hill! read more

Came here for their fancy happy hour, from 4-6pm. I know they're known for brunch so haven't had the chance to comment on that, but this time was just for this. The inside has a really nice rustic vibe which I liked, and it wasn't too crowded. We got the caesar salad, and petite steak frites. The salad was quite bland and overloaded with cheese but the bread was good. The steak frites were decent, but the steak was tiny and not super seasoned, and the fries were slightly cold. For the ambiance it's a good spot, but I don't think the food was that worth it. read more
Walked in for brunch on a Friday morning and were able to be seated right away. The place is so beautiful. Really lovely old decor and ambiance. I ordered the sausage breakfast sandwich with greens. The sandwich was perfect! Every component had its unique flavor and they all worked so well together. The dressing in the greens was also great, but it was maybe too much. We didn't have a reservation and got quoted 30 mins wait for two for brunch but got seated after 10 mins. Our server was kind and attentive. Our foods came out 20-30 mins after. I got the French toast and my husband got the sausage sandwich. The butter that came with French toast was zesty and tasted like lemons. So my French toast tasted like I was eating lemon cake (if you're into that). I personally don't like lemon cake, but I didn't mind it! Maybe I was hungry af. But the potatoes that came with sausage sandwich was super yummy. The ambiance was really cute, I think if it's your first time in Seattle, like us, it is definitely a must try place. read more

It's a very pretty, rustic restaurant. The set up seems mindful and particular and it's a great place to sit down with family. They have public restrooms that require codes. Service was kind and quick. The food was very okay, everything was good. Nothing was particularly bad or special. Came here in the afternoon, around 3 PM, and there was plenty of seating. Had to wait a bit for our server (we came right before their shift change) but other than that, service was good. Food was all very good: we had their shaken citrus espresso (espresso with lemon seltzer water), croque madame, salmon benedict, and cod piccata. Great flavors in the sauces. I'd come back! Disclaimer: there is a 5% non-gratuity surcharge. I'm plenty happy to pay the workers the money (they deserve it!), but as a business practice it bothers me; it's clearly noted on the menu and I knew it before I ordered, but it's still fundamentally an attempt to mislead the customer. It's the principle of the thing. I'd rather they update the menu to say $32 (a 10% markup!) instead of $29 + a math problem. read more
Such a gorgeous space! I loved the open ambiance. We were able to get seated fairly quickly despite it being a busy Saturday morning! This place was on my Seattle list for awhile and I'm glad I got to go with great company :)! I opted for the brioche french toast and it came with a seasonal apricot compôte which was delicious! Highly recommend if u want something airy and a little bit sweet (but not too sweet)! My friends also got a BLT, Shakshuka, and Avo toast which they all enjoyed. Super cute and rustic brunch place! We ordered a side of deviled eggs, biscuits and gravy, chorizo and Yukon potato hash, shakshuka, and the ham Benedict! I'd skip the deviled eggs, it was cool to see the pink tint from beets but it didn't taste different from an average deviled egg. Everything was enjoyable and portions were great to share. Highlights were the biscuits and gravy and the chorizo hash. Biscuits and gravy were so flavorful and the biscuit held up well without being too mushy. The chorizo hash had the perfect amount of spice and the kale mixed in gave such good texture and crunch. The poached egg on top added so much creaminess to the dish as well. We ordered an espresso martini which was delicious but the matcha martini was sooo good and would definitely reorder. I have never seen a matcha martini before and it was smooth, creamy, and tasted so spot on without losing the matcha notes. Our server was sweet and helpful in making recommendations, the food also came out quick. I'd make reservations here because seats fill up fast! read more

I've celebrated my birthday at oddfellows for two years in a row now!! I am in love with brunches, and the atmosphere here is so nice. This past birthday I reserved a table in their secret garden patio and I can't stress how cute it is. The process is pretty simple (just email them!) and the table was ready at the reservation time. My friends and I agreed that it gave very new york vibes because of the brick and we loved the greenery and shade. I ordered the baked eggs and ham and I love dipping it with the toasted bread! I tried my friends hashes which are your standard potatoes, and I remember really liking the eggs benedict as well. Was in the area for Glossier actually and saw this restaurant have shakshuka so I had to swing by for brunch. Walked in with no reservation and inside was packed to the brim but luckily we did not have to wait long for a table. Was offered to either sit outside or wait about 30 ish min for inside so we just opted to be outside because why not it's a nice sunny day. And nope I wouldn't recommend sitting outside bc there are people constantly walking by and you will get a lot of looks and there will be some random person asking you for money. FOOD: I ordered the shakshuka and it was loaded with flavors and the toast that comes with soaks up all the flavor creating such a perfect bite. Fries were good and I really like the aioli sauce that came with the fries . Chorizo Hash- I didn't try it but my bf enjoyed it a lot. I'd definitely come back again if I'm in the area :)! read more

Usually people mention their breakfast/ brunch, so I'll be back to try that menu as well, but the BLAT was so good! The service was great and really chill which I liked. The best waffle I ever had. It was crispy and soft at the same time. I believe it differently than how normally it is done to get that sweet crispy layer on the top of the waffle. The service was good and so was the ambience. read more
Came by for some breakfast around 8:30/9am with some friends and a reservation since I heard that it was popular. However when we arrived it wasn't too crowded at all which was nice. Once we sat we were offered waters and the menus. We all ordered a variety of the lattes and breakfast menu items. I personally got the ricotta apricot jam on brioche. It was a decent size for one person and pretty tasty. It was interesting though as the flavors do need to be mixed. It's also quite dense so not the easiest thing to eat nicely. Overall not bad, staff was okay. And it was a chill vibe not too loud and lots of open space. read more

My husband found this place on Yelp and we decided to drop in with our baby girl for breakfast on a slightly overcast Friday morning. The host met us with a warm smile and asked for our daughter's name. He greeted her and also brought us to a table for two near the front window where seating was a mix of former church pew and a chair. He came back with a high chair for our little girl which she sat in for probably less than five minutes total, lol, but it was nice to have as an option since not all restaurants have them. Our server, Emily, came by and got our initial order of drinks, drip coffee for my husband and a large chamomile lavender latte for me, along with a pumpkin cream cheese muffin from the seasonal tent menu on the table. If we lived in the area, I'd probably drop in for coffee and a pastry to-go too many times to be healthy. The latte was absolutely lovely on that cold Friday morning and came at the perfect temperature for sipping. The muffin was delicious with rich pumpkin spice flavor. For breakfast, I went with the biscuit and eggs (I'm a sucker for gruyere) with a side of bacon, and my husband got the brioche french toast with their seasonal fruit compote. The biscuit was stick-to-your ribs hearty and the eggs delightfully fluffy and smooth. The bacon was truly thick cut with just a hint of sweetness. I liked the thickness of the brioche french toast, but if I ordered it with the compote again, I'd probably ask for it on the side. The french toast came absolutely smothered and while it was pretty for pictures, I always feel like I have to eat fast before the bread gets too soggy. All in all, it was a great breakfast even with a wiggly baby! I do also appreciate that the restrooms are nearby and that the men's restroom has a changing table. read more

We came on a Sunday for brunch. Arrived around 10:45a, and it was a 30min wait. I put my number down and wandered around the neighborhood until I got the text that the table is ready. The mushroom and zucchini hash was the perfect blend. The seasoning was flavorful, and the portion size was filling to the right amount. Highly recommend an espresso martini to start a lazy, relaxing Sunday. We were seated on the side, which is in the middle of the patio door and front door. There was a constant wind draft across, so it was pretty chilly. Overall, still a great experience! read more

This is one of my favorite brunch spots in Seattle. The inside is kinda like a barn vibe, but it's way better in the summer because you can sit outside (no pic of the inside) Waited 45 min because I didn't have a reservation. No problem because there's a lot of places to keep yourself busy for a bit. The service is good. No complaints there. The food is amazing. PORTIONS are humongous. Ordered the burrata. That was just okay. It would be better if it had some balsamic glaze and pesto. But the main dishes? Biscuits & gravy, salmon Benedict's, mushroom hash? AMAZING. You won't be disappointed. my boyfriend and i went for lunch at oddfellows during our seattle trip and we were not disappointed at all! i loved the ambiance and decor of the restaurant. i forgot our server's name, but she was amazing! she helped with describing the different menu items and helped give us some recommendations. our food was delicious and was plated beutifully. we loved the chimichurri and horseradish sauce that came with our steak, and the baked eggs surprised us!! i will definitely come back again our next time in seattle. :) read more

A decent hipster spot in Seattle, which was recommended to me by my manager and her friend. Everything on the menu for brunch looked delicious. I ended up getting a spritz which was delicious as well as a chicken salad. The portions were huge and I was satisfied after being so hungry. Came here after hearing good things and honestly I wasn't super impressed:( the overall decor and vibe were great but the service was eh and the food was alright. The fries were soooo salty we really didn't even eat them. If you are going only for the aesthetic it's a good place! For the price (most entrees are about $30) I would say not worth it sadly, I really wanted to like it read more
