Best poached eggs I have ever had (except for my wife's, of course). I started with a delicious cup of coffee. Then, I ordered their house eggs Benedict, which included lightly sautéed arugula. My breakfast was beautiful! The hollandaise was rich and slightly tangy, and the English muffin was lightly toasted and tender. Bitter arugula was an interesting compliment to the subtle acid in the hollandaise and the salty ham. They served a side of superb rosemary potatoes. My only criticism? I'd prefer chives on the eggs Benedict, per personal preference. I'm sure they'll provide them upon request. We will definitely return. read more

my family and i were in the area so we decided to have brunch here after church. i love the bishop arts area overall (based on what i've heard) so it was great to finally hang out in the area and get some food. the service at Oddfellows is phenomenal. i kinda wish the seating was better but it's okay. i had the fork and knife breakfast which was really good but i was turned off by the fact that my eggs weren't fried over hard. my sister had the buffalo mac and WOW!!! the chicken is *chefs kiss* AMAZINGGG. it made me wish i went with my first instinct and order the chicken and waffles. my brother had the french toast which is good but if you're a texture person then you might want to tread lightly choosing those one, it's pretty doughy. i think it's bread pudding french toast. anywho, i can't wait to come back and try more options on the menu! read more

My go to spot! I love their Buffalo Mac and their hamburgers. I eat here at least 4-5 times a month. They tend to give you the burnt pieces of chicken if you order their Buffalo Mac to go, which is very annoying, but other than that they're pretty good! read more

Breakfast Scramble was decent although it was served lukewarm along with my coffee which was cold within 2 minutes of being brought out. Staff is nice overall; however, our server was a little short with us once the breakfast rush started piling in. I tipped her anyway . The place isn't bad, but not sure it's worth all the hype. I'd pay about $7 for that scramble at best, it's not worth $12. I could've ordered IHOP and been much more satisfied. read more

Popped into Oddfellows for a Friday work lunch with some colleagues. No surprise that parking was awful but we were fortunately seated quickly. Despite being a weekday lunch, the menu had mostly brunch options. And they have a very limited but rounded selection of craft beers on tap. Our server was friendly and fast on water refills but the beers and food took forever to arrive. When the food finally did arrive my buddy's burger was way overcooked but we didn't have time to wait for a new one. I had the chicken fried steak which had too much breading and was a tad overcooked (hard) as well as under seasoned. The gravy helped significantly to make it edible but there wasn't nearly enough of it. The accompanying breakfast potatoes were delicious and the eggs were ok. If someone suggested meeting up there I'd go back and try something else on the menu but likely wouldn't choose the place myself. Lunch with a beer and tip should land you $25-30. read more

I think this was my 2nd or 3rd time here, the first of which with more than one kid...so it's been at least 2 or 3 yrs since my wife and I's last visit. We came for an early dinner tonight, around 5:30 pm. There weren't many people in at all and we were seated immediately with 4 kids in tow. Food was pretty good, as always, but where everything failed was the wait service. The gentleman that served us gave us waters in the beginning, served us food, and brought our check. With nearly no one in the place, our waters weren't refilled once. I actually got up myself and grabbed the water pitcher by the serving counter, brought it to our table, and did his job. He never came back so I had to go to the hostess to ask for extra ketchup for our french fries. It's too bad...historically their service has been acceptable. read more

Not a huge fan. Went here for brunch with a couple of friends since we were in the area and it was just okay for me. This place fills up so if you can get on the waitlist, that is definitely recommended. It takes me about 20-30 minutes to get here so I got on the waitlist through Yelp before headed out and we waited for less than 5 minutes for a table while there was a line out the door. I got the Oddfellows Benedict and there was really nothing special about it. Everything was subpar and I wasn't really a fan of their ham. It was difficult to cut and wasn't super tasty. It's a cute place but it gets so busy that I think they forget about their customers. I really have nothing else to say which is also another disappointing thing. I think you can easily skip out on this place and try another brunch place in the area. read more

One of my favorite brunch spots in Dallas is Oddfellows. Food portions are large but the actual food is even better! I ordered the pancake of the day which was banana walnut and it was delicious and huge, I ordered two but would have been just fine with one. My friend had the chicken and waffles which they said was also delicious. Oddfellows had a cozy, charming vibe which fits the bishop arts area. I had the brisket hash, and the flavour and texture was really well done. the buffalo mac and cheese was also great. the lavender cappuccino was surprisingly solid for it to not be a coffee shop, but why I didn't give the full five stars, is because the beignets were quite disappointing. we ended up not eating it, but if you're used to the classic soft beignets from New Orleans, just go ahead skip it, and stick to the brunch and drinks. read more

I used to live in Dallas a couple of years ago, and everytime I go visit friends odd fellows a must stop location for me. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. The cocktails are perfect, a well paired local beer list, the food is phenomenal and the coffee is a local coffee from Austin. Literally, I can finish a French press by myself. No problem. During perfect weather days they open the patio up, and the windows by the bar turns into an outdoor bar! You'll find many people bringing their dogs, enjoying a mimosa and feeling the good vibes. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu but my favorites are the fried green tomato BLT, buffalo Mac and cheese, deviled eggs, eggs rancheros and.... that's all I got off the top of my head! I went here this Sunday around 11 and it was a 45 minute wait. They text you when the tables ready which I like so we can walk around the area. Imwe got the Bloody Mary carafe and it was worth it. We were able to get 6 glasses of it out of it (however the glasses had ice and were tall and thin), and it was good. I got the chicken and waffles and it did not disappoint! I like that it had maple syrup for the waffle but also had a gravy/mash potato mix of some sort that was so good to use as a dip for the chicken! The con I would say is that the service was kind of slow.
