Plus they have like 200 different bottles of wine you can buy to enjoy there or to take home. Again... a wide variety to choose from. They have a bar to sit at and sip and swirl some wines... or you can sit at a high top table... they have several to choose from. While we were there sitting at the bar, chatting with the wine-tender and a nice couple we met from Texas.... we saw a local group having a meeting. Good idea... meet to take care of business or get some planning done over a nice glass of vino. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming. They have some "local" wines... from Arizona and Colorado that are not your norm and are very nicely priced.... Good Value ... meaning good quality for a good price... and easy to drink... I like the place - the wine selection is good , both by the glass and bottle, and so is the beer-on-tap selection considering there are only four. More beer in the fridge extends your choices to some really interesting items. Pricing is very fair e.g. The Arizona wines are the same or less than you can get them for at the vineyard, and beer pints for $4 is average to good for non-happy hour downtown flag. The staff is friendly and when/if they don't have the greatest wine chops they make up for with it with enthusiasm. The owner on the other hand knows his stuff even though he looks like he's still in college (I'm just jealous, wish I'd had the cojones to open a place like this at that age). It's pretty quiet most nights, so I like to go solo with work to do or something to read. The definate exceptions to the rule are first friday of the month art walks, and 3rd Monday of the month tasting nights when you can get 5 courses catered and matched with wine. not dog friendly with the new owners. they don't have a kitchen, just offered some Costco cheese board. quickly ushered outside since we didn't have "service dogs" they brought us a menu to their patio and never came back to order. So we finally just left :( read more

The people who work here are excellent. I enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine at the bar and took in award winning poetry. Everyone who I talked to was friendly and pleasant. There was even a Dungeons and Dragons game (or something) happening in the back corner. If you like cheese, this place is probably even more for you, and I do wish they had some vegan cheeses, but I will definitely be back and I look forward to when I am. read more

Had it not been for the ridiculously bad attitude we received at the Hotel Monte Vista bar, we might not have made it to this great place. (See what happened and my review of Hotel Monte Vista.) Long story short, we were 3 couples who had a horrendous experience at the Hotel Monte Vista so we ended up walking 1/2 block to this beautiful indoor and outdoor wine bar where the young man who was the bartender couldn't have been more welcoming. The setting itself was very comfortable and we spent over two hours enjoying the setting, the staff and the wine. They have an incredible selection of wines. We ended up having a beautiful night thanks to Vino Loco and their great staff! read more

Honestly, this place was fantastic. My girlfriend and I did a wine tasting here and for $9 each we tasted like three full glasses of wine. That was bitchin'. Afterward, she and I split a bottle of almond champagne and it was only like $14. They had it chilled in the bar already and let us drink it inside without charging us a $5 corking fee like they did at the Wine Loft. It was funny, I went in and a guy there said, "Hey, I made your drinks this morning," and I recognized him from working at Macy's. "And now my girlfriend is gonna serve you wine!" Vino Loco is a great little place in downtown Flag. My friend Liz (Flagstaff local) thought it would be a fun place for us to meet for a glass of wine. She was absolutely correct! This spot is perfect for enjoying a glass of wine or two and having a lovely cheese plate. We each had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. The wine was gorgeous and the cheese plate was perfection. It is also a great place to purchase a bottle of wine. I was very tempted to buy a bottle of Bright Lights (CA white wine) and wish I had because it is not available at Total Wine (was hoping it would be). I will have to grab a bottle on my next trip to Flag, when I will surely be making a stop at Vino Loco. read more

Great spot to have a glass of wine and relax in downtown flagstaff. We were there on a very quiet Saturday night downtown but even though it wasn't super crowded in there it didn't feel awkward or empty at all, just cozy and intimate. The bartender helped me find a sparkling white wine that I really enjoyed. We also split a cheese board with three cheeses. If you go and they have the smoked Gouda get it, it's delicious. Super cute shop with a decent selection of wines by the glass as well as retail to take home. Bonus for having Epic beers, which are my absolute favorites. We had great seats on the patio where we met lots of friendly people and were able to comfortably hang out with the babies (even met another awesome family out there!). This place is good but in general nothing special EXCEPT for once a month when they host wine tasting with wines from around the world with excellent food pairings. I don't even have words to describe how well the pairings fit so well together sometimes. It's like a synergistic effect. The cook and wine server are both very great people who love sharing their knowledge with others and have no qualms against answering questions (which I generally have many of). If you are a wine connoisseur go here and you'll love it. I am not (yet) but I still go to this monthly pairing whenever I can. read more

We visited this place one night because we were feeling wine and charcuterie. I have to say, after traveling quite a bit and being in the region of Flagstaff/Sedona. This place was definitely subpar. Our charcuterie board looks like it came from the grocery store, it wasn't even presented to us which meats or cheeses were on the board. It wasn't complemented by an appropriate wine. We ordered the churro popcorn and didn't get it and we were so dissatisfied by the end we forgot about it and probably paid for it anyway. When I asked for wine recommendations, the girl was unable to provide any knowledge about the wines, nor what they paired with. She was young, and so worried about talking to people behind the bar about her hospitality management degree that she didn't check on us one time. Our wines went dry and didn't even look over to offer a refill, we had to ask for the bill because we pretty much got fed up with it waiting for somebody to check or offer us a different selection. If this place is now under new management, maybe they should have a sommelier present that's not worried about making partner and start offering suggestions or checking on the tables and his business. Being a sommelier is more than having a certificate. Atmosphere was less than thrilling considering we were in a up-and-coming town. Will definitely stick to Sedona next time we're looking for a wine night. read more

We had to Uber over here because parking in downtown Flag is a nightmare, especially in larger vehicles. They also had their parking lot roped off so you could not use it which made getting here even more inconvenient. They had a decent wine selection but the service was only okay at best. The bartender was more focused on chatting with her regulars and less on the bar overall. She seemed knowledgeable on her wine selections but was fairly inattentive. It came across as a fairly uptight environment, so if you are looking for something more relaxed, look elsewhere. read more
