I read good reviews and decided to go there with my husband! I think we hit it on the wrong day and time. It was a week day for lunch. As we entered the restaurant It smelled strongly of something like fabuloso for floors. We were the only people there. I was excited to try their meat since I'm Brazilian but could not take the strong smell of cleaner and we ended up leaving! Hopefully we'll get the opportunity to go back. Had a delicious lunch today. We ordered some filet mignon croquettes to start. They were very tasty and full of meat. We ordered the skirt steak (churrasco), which was cooked perfectly and a very generous portion. It was also very tender and delicious. All the meats came with 3 tasty, homemade dipping sauces. This is probably one of those cases of high expectations being impossible to meet -- we thought the food was good, but were expecting great. The Brussels sprouts were superb along with some fried yuca. Also loved the three sauces, a chimichurri,picante and creamy cilantro. The hostess was so accommodating and sweet. We went back the second time because we were so happy the first time, but I ordered filet mignon, but my taco is definitely not filet mignon. It was full of gristle. My husband had different tacos but he had the same problem. I did. We were both very disappointed. The second time we did complain about it and they didn't charge us for the tacos, but I felt like they assumed we would not know what they served us, and it felt dishonest, and we were very disappointed.
