Picked this one at random this weekend since teriyaki in Vancouver seems to be hit or miss. The offer a lot of customization via their online menu which led to some unnecessary mistakes. First, don't try and do the healthy thing and get the extra veggies. They were thankfully unseasoned but also completely devoid of any flavor from the veggies themselves either. We're also going to skip the salad next time as BF had to break out the ranch in the fridge because the included dressing earned an EWW when he tried it. It's actually solid teriyaki. The sauce is good, but I didn't need any on the already marinated chicken breast. BF enjoyed his with only a little amount of sauce. You get two little scoops of steamed rice with your meat that are just enough. The veggies cost me $2.49 more in addition to the $15 for the plate. I wish they gave you a little bit more, but it's 2025 and at this point I think I better start making my own. read more

Instead of 'Oh my Teriyaki' this place should be called 'Oh my can I Have a Plastic Knife?!!?!! So I ordered the teriyaki tofu bowl . I'm used to seeing a little salad or some little veggies. But no veggies- just rice and tofu. To their credit there was is a generous bottle of teriyaki on the table. But when i asked for some soy sauce, they handed me two little plastic packets. Then when i asked for a little plastic knife so that i could9 cut my tofu pieces in half, "so sorry, we don't have". Water given in little styrofoam cup. Not a dine in place. First time here. I thought I was ordering from Ichi in Hazeldale. Before I left to pick it help I realize I ordered from OMTeriyaki. Pleasant surprise that I had one dinner a combination of beef and shrimp yakisoba. At first I was upset but it was plenty for the wife and I. I'll orlderl it again but try their other meat choices. My husband and I found this restaurant sort of by "accident". We were on our way home after dropping the kid off at Nanny and Poppy's and we were hungry. I'm glad that we did. I haven't been able to change what I order lately because I love what I get so much. Also: best egg rolls in town! But what I *really* love about their restaurant is the staff/owners. They're helpful, generous and friendly. Any time my husband comes in to order and has the kid with him, they give her something special (and sometimes, even ME!) I haven't been a regular anywhere since my 20's (and we're not going to talk about those days anyway) so it's great to feel welcome and appreciated. Ordinary at Best but Overpriced . . . Had a teriyaki beef/chicken combo and a side of Gyoza (6 pieces) for $17 and some change, To-Go. Pro's; Fair Portion of meat & rice, flavor was OK but . . . (see con's), restaurant & bathroom were clean, service timely & polite, Gyoza was the best part of this meal but . . . (see con's), included dipping sauce w/ Gyoza & 1 extra teriyaki sauce + was i given 2 soy sauce packets on request. Salad was fresh but . . . Con's; Salad was tiny & poppy seed dressing had no poppy seeds which was Very sweet as was the teriyaki sauce, both meats were Very chewy and Dry . . . the chicken was cut to appropriate sized pieces but the beef was like eating wet jerky, Gyoza was placed hot into a small paper bag which caused the crispy parts to turn to mush, dipping & teriyaki sauces were under portioned. Third time here. Love this place!!! Best in the Couv we have tried them all an nothing compared to our favorite in Tigard. But then we found Oh my and it is great. Their teriyaki has great flavor, the chicken is great quality and has that little of char on it that is so yummy. Their teriyaki beef is great. Their gyoza are crisp and tasty. NW side of NE Hwy 99 (same center as Hazel Dell Skippers) Well the name's cool...George Takei would be so proud! That's about where it ends here... yep with the name. The food is ok at best... a bit unacceptable to me, service is lethargic and uninspiring, and the decor leaves very little to be desired. I also thought this was kind of sad. The rice was fluffy and cooked perfectly so it was slightly moist and did not stick together! Seating comes in the form of regular indoor tables. Their prices are a little bit more than what I am used to seeing, but I didn't think the experience warranted it. The venue looks either very temporary or like everything was just put up very quickly with no intention of upgrading to a more common theme. Yeah I agree this is the only other good teriyaki place in Hazel Dull. Generous portions and always consistent. My favorite is the chicken and vegetable stir fry, enough to split or have leftovers. I love the homemade hot sauce and sesame ranch! I keep a dressing bottle full of both at home. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because of the lack of ambiance, sometimes dirty restroom, and occasional bad attitudes from a young man who works the register. None of that is enough to stop me from enjoying the teriyaki though. I eat here often. read more

This place is actually pretty good. We haven't been here in a while, so it may have changed since we ate here. Don't be scared away by the shopping center and the run down bowling alley. The place is actually really clean (sometimes too clean, since the cleaning chemical is pretty strong and you can smell it a mile away). The people there are really nice and the food is excellent. Ate lunch here today, it's been over a year since I've been in and I'm pretty sure the place is under new ownership. The decor, menu and staff were all different than I remembered. All the food pictured on the menu board and on other patrons tables looked good and hearty. I noticed they serve bulgogi now, but I ordered the jalapeno chicken and it tasted mighty fine. Served with two scoops of rice, the jalapenos and onions were cooked enough but not too much, and there was a lot of chicken. All the employees were friendly and I was greeted immediately. My food was cooked shortly after I ordered it and it was still piping hot when I got back to work a couple miles away. I got a ton of good food at a friendly local Teriyaki place for only $6.50. This was my first time coming to Oh my teriyaki. I am so very disappointed and unsatisfied. I ordered stir-fried vegetables and barely got any vegetables. Mostly sauce and stringy cabbage. I also ordered tofu fried rice and there is no flavor at all to the rice and it is undercooked. I spent $16 on a meal that I'm so very disappointed in I will never be back. read more

My husband ordered Mongolian Beef, I had Beef Teriyaki with a side of tempura prawns (6) to take home. Very disappointed in the quality of the food. First the shrimp that was suppose to be tempura battered, it was actually in panko. The shrimp was butterflied, maybe an 1/8 of an inch thick if that. Overcooked and tasteless. It was not what the menu said it was to be. We both threw out dinners away. The beef was so tough and over cooked you couldn't chew it. The Teriyaki sauce was not of good quality or taste.
