BEEF TERIYAKI PLATE
Ace A.

Found this gem on accident because cava was closed during World Cup Mexico Vs Korea. The serving for the teriyaki beef is good for 2 people. The food was seasoned properly it had a good after taste. I was definitely impressed by this restaurant. Way better than ono or any large Hawaiian bbq chains. Great job Ohana BBQ 5/5 stars will be coming back soon!

Diamond Head Chicken Bowl

Updating to 5 stars. It's been a long while that I have been back to Ohana BBQ. I use to come here to pick up lunch all the time when we use to live in the neighborhood. Their food hasn't changed at all. It's still fantastic and the portions are still massive. The prices did go up a little but still worth it. This recent visit I ordered the Diamond Head Chicken bowl dark meat. The was fantastic the dark meat chicken was moist and tender. The bowl itself was good enough for two person. Ohana BBQ is probably one of the best Hawaiian/Korean BBQ in the Valley. They keep their quality up to par. Definitely with the visit you're craving delicious Hawaiian food. Plus they have many different plates of meat and salad to choose from. Remember the place is small with about 4-5 tables and can get really smoky from grilling the meat to order.

BBQ CHICKEN WHITE MEAT PLATE. Delicious chicken (and you get a ton of it) , mac salad, spicy cucumbers and plenty of rice.

I'm a sucker for Hawaiian food, especially really good Hawaiian food. I assume everyone else is, too. This is a small restaurant in a small strip mall. There is a good amount of free parking but you might have to fight a little for it. There are a few tables inside for dining or you can just get takeout. We tried two plate lunches, one with teriyaki chicken and the other with chicken katsu (cutlet) and beef ribs (the Waikiki Special gives you your choice of two proteins). You get your choice of two sides (we both got mac salad and spicy cucumbers). You get an a month's supply of rice with each order. Everything is cooked to order so be patient. The chicken katsu is crazy good and you get a big fat fail if you don't try this. The chicken teriyaki is very nice and you get a ginormous portion. The ribs are very flavorful but I found them a little tough. They cost an additional $4.00 and I would suggest choosing something else. The mac salad was creamy and delicious. The spicy cucumbers were very fresh but not as spicy as I hoped. You're not going to be hungry after ordering here and the food is high quality. Get that katsu for sure and make sure you get some of those complimentary fantastic teriyaki sauces.

This is such an unassuming place for a five star kind of café and Hawaiian/Korean type of food. You can get very special cold noodles that have a great sauce that I have not tried before with grilled chicken and I would say overall refreshing and it seems healthy. We also got the chicken Katsu for the kids and they love that. The only thing I would say is adding the spam musubi. They were quite different because the spam was grilled instead of being put in soy sauce. The service was good kind of like a café setting and I would say the price is reasonable for the amount of food that they give you. Honestly, the sauces were really what make this place so great and five stars you really wanna try them all.

When I want some lean grilled chicken bbq, this is where I go. My usual is the dark grilled chicken combo, that comes with the rice and 2 sides. Today I went with spicy cucumber side as well as the potato salad. Both sides were fresh and delicious and as always, the star of the show is the protein. The grill the dark chicken filet to perfection on a fire grill and 30 seconds later it's on your plate for you to devour. The chicken has nice char flavor, juicy and delicious. I like to add a little soy sauce and I generally apply their delicious teriyaki sauce all over the chicken and rice. Each bite is great, yummy and healthy. The ambiance is pretty cool, as the plaza was rebuilt and comes with a variety of little restaurants. Parking isn't hard to find either. Inside Ohana, you will find 5-6 tables a nice crew of people working there, ready to dish out next delicious combo plate. Will definitely return again!

The food was so good! I didn't know what to expect but for my first time, I was definitely impressed with not only how much food you get but also the taste. I will say we did wait a little long but thankfully it was worth the wait. The place is a little small so you may want to do to take out during their busy hours but it's nice and the bathroom was clean. Will definitely be back.

WAIKIKI SPECIAL PLATE

For $22.99 I got a choice of 2 proteins with salad & mix of macaroni/potato scoop that I chose for my side, along with rice. When the food arrived to our table I immediately noticed that the proteins were kinda almost cold. Which I don't understand because I saw the cooks grilling the chicken right up front. I assumed we were going to get some of that. But I was wrong. The protein didn't come out streaming hot. I guess they just cook a lot at the same time and leave it in a container. I did get a hefty amount of white rice for both proteins. I'll admit that, but when it comes to the side (Mac/potato salad?) was misleading as for the pictures on yelp I seen the combo with 1 good scoop of the classic Hawaiian Mac salad. I was thrown off. We got 1 tiny ass scoop of that. So disappointing. Although we did get a good amount of the chicken and beef. It was still in my opinion overall way too overpriced....

service was great and fast! the food was delicious! I will definitely be coming back soon, the macaroni salad was my favorite

WIKI WIKI NOODLE (CHAP CHAE)

Visited on early evening Thursday with my friend. I pulled into the parking lot and wasn't sure if I was in the right spot because the restaurant signage isn't great. But, my friend has been before which is the only reason I knew it must be right. It wasn't busy so we immediately ordered and sat down. The staff was friendly, and the food didn't take too long. I ordered the Wiki Wiki Noodles with White Meat Chicken. I spent about $25. I thought it was tasty - the star of the dish was definitely the chicken. Very juicy and flavorful. The noodles were pretty dry so I added some sauce. The portion sizes are pretty big! I had some leftovers at the end. Overall, the food was fine but it didn't impress me. For the price, I didn't think it was very worth it. Might try another dish if I decide to revisit. Parking: Free spacious parking lot!!

Great food and good service. Prices are a bit high but the portions are large. Highly suggest you try their kimchi!

Wiki wiki noodles w/dark meat chicken

Always impressed coming here! So much so, I tell people about this place or I'll bring them with me to taste this deliciousness. I always get the wiki wiki noodles with dark meat chicken and the bbq chicken dark meat with rice and macaroni salad. They are always a hit! Located in a small plaza on Ventura, parking is limited now as they're constructing a building in that plaza but I'm sure eventually there is enough. Service is usually always fast and great, getting you your food on time. You can now also order through one of their computer/kiosks which is convenient when it gets busy. Friendly staff and very attentive, there are tables for you to sit and enjoy your food but I have also seen a lot of people order takeout. It's always a treat when I eat Ohana bbq.

Spicy BBQ PORK PLATE (Comes with salad)
Darian H.

I was craving Hawaiian BBQ and had to stop by! I ordered the spicy bbq pork combo! It was really good, but I wouldn't say it was spicy, but very flavorful! The macaroni salad was good. It took maybe 5 minutes for the food to be ready. I definitely want to come back and try the bbq chicken and the spam!!

This hole in the wall place is inside a small little food court next to pizza and a Thai place. I know it might seem a little bit sketchy around the neighborhood, but there's some tables inside to eat and also nice little photo area outside of the food hall. Food: - SHRIMP 15/10 would recommend. Make sure you eat it right then and there with shell on. It had the best seasoning, butter and crunch. I could just do 40 of these. I chose the green salad, but you could also choose cucumber and Mac salad as well. The green salad was packed to the brim! - Meat Jun - ALSO FIRE. It was super tender and flavorful. Don't sleep on this one as well. Quality of meat is amazing. Service does take a little bit longer around 15 min but for the quality of food, I don't mind waiting. As I was thinking about this in the car, I thought to myself it did seem kind of expensive $22 for shrimp and $26 for the beef but we did get complementary drinks so same same. I know it takes a lot of time and energy to prep this deliciousness. Overall, everything was absolutely amazing! Thank you so much Broken Mouth for the experience! We'll definitely be back soon to try the short rib. Cool future implementation: Would love to have a bigger mix and match or 2 item combo box!

Their musubis were hot and fresh when served. They were cut in half to fit in their to-go containers, which was thoughtful and convenient. The spam they used wasn't the traditional kind that we're used to seeing. It was thicker, but still tasted the same. There was also a lot of teriyaki sauce that off-set the salinity from the spam. There was more sauce than I'd like, it can get a bit messy when you eat them. It was delicious, none-the-less! I definitely recommend getting those. My husband enjoyed the Macadamia Pancakes! He said loved the cream on top and the portion was well worth the $9. The restaurant was pretty packed when we got there around 11am on Sunday. There is only one cashier, so the line will build easily and start to feel a bit congested. They have several menus available to peruse while you're waiting to order. Parking is tight and can be a challenge. We had to circle twice before we found one. Note, it is shared between them and another establishment. They offer seating indoor and outdoor in front and back of the restaurant. Both sides are shaded, it's a great option if you want to enjoy the breeze. I don't normally drive out this way, but I'm glad this passport forced me to come out to try this one. I would love to try their poke! Thanks, Aloha Food Factory, for the great food! Over the years I've gotten take-out here but have also done dine-in. It seems they mostly do catering now, because they have very short business hours for the public. Here's what I ordered: 1) Komai's Big Breakfast. Komai was Aloha's original chef. Two eggs with all the meats: Portuguese sausage, Spam, Vienna sausage, corned beef hash plus 2 scoops of rice and a Hawaiian roll. No surprises here, very nice. 2) Kal B Chicken plate lunch. Chicken marinated in the same sauce as the more familiar kalbi beef short ribs, with rice and mac salad.
