Oil stop accomplished everything it aimed to and quite fast I would also mention. It was on the pricier side for an oil change and while the employees weee sure to mention that they don't work on commission they absolutely wanted to upsell every service possible. But then again, I suppose thats the trade off for no appointment, driving right in and leaving in 15 minutes. Great service. Of course you get what you pay for! I'm normally the guy looking for the cheapest oil change but it's worth the extra good stuff and good service since I drive long distances in my elderly vehicle. They top off all the other fluids in the car during your oil change and notify you of everything they are doing or anything they think should be replaced etc. Super quick and you get a free car wash with the change My car is happy and clean! read more

Good service, super polite, and knowledgeable. Learned a lot about the different parts of a car that can wear out, rust, or crack and the products that can extend the life of your vehicle. But all I wanted was an oil change. Upsold on at least 15 products or services, despite me asking for just an oil change. Would recommend giving folks the option to just get the oil change up front if they're short on time or uninterested. Price felt high, too (around $85) but that could be because I succumbed to one $10-15 just because I felt bad if the technician went 0-15 on me. read more

I was long overdue for an oil change. Even though I do check my oil level on a bi-monthly base, I needed an oil change especially before an upcoming road trip. Didn't make an appointment, it was a spontaneous decision to get this done. Good thing is that it's unnecessary to make an appointment, just drive up. There were approx 4 cars ahead of me. A cheerful young guy came up, I told him I needed a basic oil change. While waiting he cleaned the windows, good service. Waited for 10 minutes, I think the oil was changed in the same amount of time. Lot of staff works at this place, there's a lot of loud communication between them. No unnecessary communication, it's 'loud and clear' this team works like a, well let's just say, 'well-oiled team.' Friendly, polite and professional service, my basic oils change cost me around $55. OIL STOP in Ashland Oregon is SABOTAGING WOMEN'S CARS and denying it! If you complain it, they tell you to come into the garage and watch their videos, because they have cameras. They then insist that you APOLOGIZE to them for accusing them of sabotaging your car. Really lousy customer service. The workers are putting nails in tires and slamming the hood down on something so it bends the hood up. DON'T' GO TO OIL STOP! They put a nail in my tire twice and bent my car hood up. They are liars, cheats, and thieves and doing illegal, criminal things. read more

I never review ANYTHING and never thought my first review would be on an oil change, but WOW. This is not your Jiffylube but rather a place where they teach you about the things happening under your hood. The customer service is above and beyond and nice to know. They show you all of the different fluids running through your car and clean your windows. It was a 20 min stop on my way back to California. This is the most efficient place I've ever seen. You drive into the bay and there is a metal grate below, where mechanics work on your car from underneath. The guys above callout to the ones below. It's entertaining to watch and listen. Especially because they are polite and friendly amongst each other. Each time I've been here, the staff is very friendly and offers coffee, tea or water. They offer you samples of your fluids and upsell some additional fluids (which I can understand some people might be put off by this, but they simply ask and if you say no, they dont pressure you at all). They also offer top offs on fluids and air pressure for free in between your oil changes which is definitely a plus! The inspection is very thorough, they even check air filter, cabin filter, replace wipers and wipe down your windshields for you. This place is thorough, friendly and they get the job done quickly. I go here for all my oil changes, they always check and top off all my fluids tires etc. This last trip I added a transmission flush. Assuming my car was fine I drove 45 miles away up a mountain to visit some friends. Shortly after arriving we noticed my car was leaking transmission fluid. Ofcourse I panicked and thought I was stranded. I called oil stop to notify them of the problem. The manager was very understanding kind and drove all the way to me and rectified the problem quickly. It was a scary scenario but turned out be be an easy fix. A bolt seal was missing. A simple but potentially costly mistake.. I was so relieved and pleasantly surprised by his prompt and humble service. Granted someone made a mistake, but it was handled very carefully by the manager and that goes a long way in my opinion.
