Fantastic little BBQ spot in a little corner of Richmond street. If we hadn't heard about it, we would never have known it was there. My go-to is the brisket. It is gorgeously tender and smokey perfectly paired with one of their bbq sauces and a cold beer. Service is fantastic. We were waited on by several different people so it really felt like a family style operation. Several sports games were on the big screens with sound coming out of speakers located around the edges of the seating area. Would definitely come back!

Went on a Saturday around Noon, there were a few groups at the back patio. Most beer is on tap, only a few bottled choices. We wanted to try all the meat so we orderd two 3-meat combo. It was easy for us to pick which side NOT to order since we both do not like coleslaw. BF ranked the meat at Old Patio number one from all the bbq we tried so far. The size of the sides were generous. It's next to refinery so there might be some smell from time to time.

Pretty bummed! I drove 2 hours to come try this spot since posts on social media looked good. We got the three meat plate and 2/3 meats were border line inedible and clearly from the end of the piece of meat. The ribs were some of the smallest ribs I have seen (after the 6 dollar up charge) and the brisket was mainly bark with a huge piece of unrendered fat in the middle. The sides and tri tip were good though.

When I first walked in was immersed by the decor with horns on the wall, lassos, and cow hide. The bar has seats with backs that I really appreciate. It is a touch confusing when you enter since it's self seating and there is no clear signs, but go ahead and find a spot and seat yourself. The brisket is seasoned by "Meat Dave" who is a Netflix comedian and bbq podcaster. I learned he has free comedy shows every other Wednesday at the restaurant which is good to know. The patio was nice, but we sat at the bar since it was packed outside. Our food came out fast, we ordered the three meat plate with chicken, sausage, tri-tip, sweet beans and Cole slaw. The plate also had pickles and pickled onions on it. The table had four bbq sauces to pick from, we mostly used the Carolina gold. I also ordered a street corn dip that was quite a large serving with a big portion of tortilla chips to go with. Our favorites were the chicken, Tri-tip and the sweet beans, while the other items were also good those three really stood out. I will definitely return to try more items on the menu.

I've been in El Segundo for a while now and have never been to nor heard of old town patio until this year. My understanding is that there has been a major revamp and now it's becoming the happening spot. My #1 reason to come here is the food! Omg best bbq in town. If you haven't had the brisket yet, that's a must! But everything else is delicious too. They are now my fave breakfast burrito place. Sad part is that they only make them on Sundays, but I know where I want to be for a bomb breakfast burrito and football! The pic is of their pork belly + bacon breakfast burrito. Totally a 15 out of 10! Yum! Only downside is that it's beer/wine/seltzer only. But if you're good with that, come check them out. They have comedy nights, live music and sports. Staff's friendly and attentive. Seems like younger crowd and family outside (picnic style benches and big tv with stage) and older crowd inside, I'm assuming the OG regulars. It's a good time. Come check them out and for sure get some food!!!

Spotless, delicious bbq, great beer. Meat Dave has done a spectacular job with Old town Patio. Had a Big Dog brew on tap, the Mac cheese side and chopped brisket sandwich. Served with four delicious bbq sauces. I'll be back! Every other Tuesday Dave has a comedy show in the evening. Looking forward to attending this.

Came to check out the Comedy show and had some BBQ! Such a fun night! Our server Jason was awesome! It's hard to find good BBQ around the South Bay but it was sooo good and the show was awesome! We will be back!

Summary: This is the spot! They've done a fantastic job with the revamp. Great casual vibe, with an excellent back patio space for live music and watching sports while enjoying fantastic barbeque paired with a cold beer or other beverage. I highly recommend the grilled cheese with brisket and the corn dip, and trying all of the different sauces (BBQ and other). Only opportunities for improvement are need for more serving staff on busy nights and more craft beer options on tap (tons of mainstream choices though). This is a great dining experience on the far South end of downtown. Keep it up OTP!

The ribs had a slightly sweet taste to their sauce which is totally up my alley. My sister loved the meatloaf. The soft protein mixed with the crispy onions and veggies was a good mix. The appetizers were so good; the shrimp was nice and plump. The steak in the petit plate was so tender. And the chicken piccata was hearty and plentiful. The sushi roll was meh though. The Bloody Marys used to be exceptional, accompanied by their delicious fried blue cheese-stuffed olives. This time, I had to ask for the blue cheese olives, and they were served separately and were very different than they were in the past. The asparagus fries were also disappointing and not nearly as good as they used to be. For our entrées, the Chilean sea bass was overcooked, and the mashed potatoes were so dense it was like eating plaster. Overall, the food simply did not meet the standard Nick's was once known for. What was most disappointing was the experience with my certified service animal. Despite dining with a service dog, no one offered a water bowl, and I was told that I could not feed her the plain burger patty I had ordered and paid full price for. The interaction felt unnecessary and unwelcoming. Unfortunately, this visit was nothing like the Nick's we used to love. It's disappointing to see such a decline in both food quality and hospitality from what was once a favorite destination.

The rain storm caused the bike rental company to cancel all bike rentals. We called Rockefeller to cancel our lunch reservation, and they were kind enough to offer us an 11am brunch seating. So, the 8 of us decided to make the 45 min drive (in the rain) from the San Fernando Valley to Manhattan Beach, and what a time we had!! *We arrived at this very cute, rustic and cozy pub and were seated immediately. *We were greeted by our fabulous host, Kenn...who kept the mimosas and champagne flowing throughout our meal. *We started with the fried zucchini, chips and guacamole, truffle fries and sweet potato bombs.. Delicious! *Our main consisted of the infamous Sancho Burrito (lived up to the hype), chicken & avocado burrito, French toast, chilaquiles, steak & eggs, cheese omelette and washed it all down with more mimosas! We thoroughly enjoyed our brunch at The Rockefeller and will definitely be returning soon, not just for the food, but to see Kenn!! Decided to try and share savory and sweet after asking the server what was popular. The server mentioned that they are known for their biscuits so we got the biscuit egg Benedict and she was definitely right because the biscuit as the base was amazing and the best part. The rest of the benedict were standard with the runny egg and prosciutto. We also got the peach french toast which was not too sweet as the walnuts and peaches pair well. The only thing is that the inside of the french toast was a little runny so it was slightly soggy. The location is convenient, right on the street and close to Manhattan Beach, so it felt like an easy spot to check out We ordered a bunch of different dishes to get a feel for the menu. Overall, the food was good, but I'm not totally convinced it matches the price point. The prawn was definitely a standout -- really delicious and probably my favorite of the dishes we tried. The cookie was a little on the dry side, though, and the steak was honestly underwhelming for a $120 price tag. The drinks were much more impressive: well-made, nicely balanced, and definitely on the sweeter side Service was definitely on point. They weren't constantly checking in, which I actually appreciated, but whenever we needed something, someone was there and very attentive. Everyone was also friendly and welcoming throughout the meal The ambiance leans more toward a bar-restaurant than traditional fine dining, but the interior has some classy design elements and definitely gives off that modern LA fine-dining feel I'd probably come back to try some of the other dishes before making a final judgment. There were definitely some highlights, and overall, I'd still say it's worth a visit if you're in the area -- just go in knowing the prices are on the higher side
