On a roadtrip across the country and found this spot on the way. LOVE Eastern European food and they did not disappoint. Also, my server Aleks was super friendly and gave great recommendations!

Just moved to Phoenix like 3 months ago and have been craving some burek!! I'm from STL and my best friends family made the best Bosnian dishes! The guy working was very friendly! Small little restaurant, I got my food to and it took less than 10 minutes! Very quick! Sooo good! Only downfall was it's 35 mins from me haha! The meat burek/pita was amazing!

Our Bosnian friend brought us here 10 years ago and we were hooked from the first bite! The food is freshly made, wholesome, and absolutely delicious. Such cool decor, and extremely friendly service. Highly recommend, we will be back!

One of the best Bosnian meals in my life! The food was spot on authentic Bosnian, and I lived there. The cevapi was perfect (meat rolls) served with fluffy pita bread. Eat this with raw onion l, ajvar (red pepper dip) and sour cream... so delicious! The sarma (cabbage rolls) and the pita (cheese and meat filled pastry) are amazing! Had this wonderful server who told us all about the food and suggested dishes. They served up the food family style which was perfect for our group of 7! Even ended with Turkish coffee and four kinds of desserts: baklava, apple roll, and a meraigne cake. The decor was as old town Sarajevo, and was spot on! So great inside the non descript outside. Loved the attention to detail! Overall, an amazing experience! Thank you Sarajevo was a fabulous time!

Wow! This place is a gem and has won a spot as one of my favorite places in all of the valley! The food was delicious! The service was great! The decorations are beautiful! And the prices were unbelievable! We walked through the front doors and were immediately transported to a new place. To me it felt like stepping into an old European set. For $33 we had dinner for two plus dessert! (We did get a free dessert for being first timers at the restaurant - did I mention the service was great?) Can't wait to go back and try other items on their menu!

First time at a Bosnian restaurant. We were greeted and welcomed like at someone's home. The ambiance is very authentic from what I can tell. The food was really good for our first time experience. Definitely would be back!

The food is great. The owners are very friendly. The restaurant is beautiful inside, based on the old buildings in Sarajevo, it really feels like you are in a whole other country especially with the friendly staff. The food is very affordable and would highly recommend coming here.

Excellent food and very affordable! Definitely a place I will come every time I'm in this area. A hidden gem

All out worth the stop ....... From your card to find anything good in Arizona this was beyond Arizona. This was like New York quality food. Everything was amazing, but that stuffed cabbage was the best stuffed cabbage I've ever had.

We see this restaurant everyday we leave from the gym across the street for a few years now. We wanted to try something new and we have Sarajevo a try. The young man who attended to us was very nice and helpful. The atmosphere was great and relaxing. The food was of course delicious. If you're in the area give them a try, you won't be disappointed .

Did this place get sold? I went on June 2nd and the place said closed till further notice, was one of my favorites in the valley, was shocked.

We are now open again, with no changes to our ownership structure. We look forward to welcoming you back.

Is this place still open? The phone number listed is a number that is not in service. I've also seen that it is "temporarily closed." I am really craving this food!!!!!

Old Town Sarajevo is indeed open now. They were temporarily closed due to storm damage to the building, but all is now well and right. They are open every day but Tuesday.

Do y'all ship to Texas?!!? (Crossing my fingers)

Is this open every day? I tried calling the number several times and got a generic outgoing message. The hotel I was staying at said the restaurant didn't open until Wednesday too.

    Mondays- Saturdays 9a-9p Sundays 10a-9p

How big is the restaurant. Can they accommodate a group of 10-12 people during the week at about 1 PM?

It holds about 50 people and just call ahead for reservations at that time.

After reviewing the menu, we decided to get the Balkan kebab aka cevapi & chicken skewers, aka souvlaki. The kebab is a beef skinless sausage. The food arrived on metal trays with wax paper to protect the meal. There were small containers of onions, tzatziki & roasted pepper spread. We returned the onions. The meals were pretty good. The chicken was a tad dry yet still good flavoring. Loved the large pita bread it came with. The tzatziki and spread help moisten the chicken. The kebab was very plain tasting even though it was moist. Some spices and the spread would have helped. The bread that came with it looked homemade. It looked similar to a hamburger bun only fluffy and tasty. There is a small bakery up front and a tiny market in the rear. 4 stars for the chicken meal 3.5 stars for the beef kebab 5 for staff & cleanliness Shared parking.

For those familiar with Kevin Binkley's former projects, there are hints of what we used to experience at his restaurants but this takes it over the top. The evening was full of surprises, culinary theater and the gorgeous view makes it unforgettable. We used to eat at Christopher's at the Biltmore and it was wonderful to see this playful and stylish iteration. The food was phenomenal, interesting, well-excuted and so very enjoyable. There were a few service hiccups. We were served the same course twice (which was promptly removed when we notified our server). There was a significant gap between two of the courses (maybe 20 minutes or so) and it felt odd. The kitchen knew that I am pescetarian and they beautifully accommodated me except when a plate of lamb appeared in front of me (it was quickly rectified). This is definitely a special occasion meal and if you're looking for something unique and delicious, this is it.

Everything about the evening felt intentional, from the pacing of the meal to the service to the incredible sunset views overlooking the city. The space itself is stunning, with sleek glass walls, an open kitchen, and a retractable roof that makes the whole experience feel immersive without being over the top. You can tell Chef Christopher Gross has mastered the art of fine dining while still keeping it approachable. The staff struck that perfect balance too..polished and attentive without ever feeling stiff or overly formal. This is definitely a special occasion restaurant, but honestly, the atmosphere alone makes it worth experiencing at least once. Between the views, the wine program, and the attention to detail throughout the night, it feels like one of the few places in Phoenix that delivers a true dining experience instead of just a good meal. If you go, book around sunset.

The cozy, intimate comfort of what used to be Coup des Tartes blended seamlessly with the deep, peaceful, gentle "love" you felt from House of Tricks into one calm, warm, easy spot. Farish House is a real, soul-warming experience across the board. The service, care, comfort, ambience, food, value and clear love they put into everything make Farish House our new favorite place. We walked through the front gate, up onto the front porch and inside where we took one of three small tables in the cozy front salon of this soul-warming 1899 French Bistro. *Food: we started with a bottle of Australian Cab. Shockingly good. And not crazy expensive, especially on Thursday when bottles are 30% off, it was an amazing deal. Turns out, the owner, Greg, was in the wine distribution business for several decades, curating wine programs for top Valley restaurants, so he really knows his stuff and their vast wine selection is amazing. We were offered a basket of truffle popcorn, mmm, salty, crunchy, and rich. We ordered the Chef's Selection Charcuterie and Warm Noble Baguette & Marinated Olives to get started. Both were beautifully curated, balanced, and incredibly high quality. The flavors and textures blended perfectly. with cheeses broken from large wheels, rather than cut and sliced, house-made pickled grapes, unique and unusual ingredients, smokey meats, compound butters, just awesome! We then moved into one of the cozy dining rooms and ordered the slow roasted Peposo Short Ribs and fingerling potatoes pan fried in duck fat served with Moroccan spiced aioli. Both were rich, warm and delicious. For dessert, and yes we thought we'd explode from all this food, we ordered a massive slice of bread pudding, some of the best I've ever had, rich, gooey and incredible. Along with that we ordered a beautiful Espresso Martini and an off-menu banana cream martini. Their drinks are not "poured" or mixed here, they're balanced and expertly crafted. This is French Bistro comfort food at its finest and it's unmistakeable. *Service: it just doesn't get better. Everyone working there is "family". And that's how they make you feel; like family, cared for, wanted, welcomed. Service isn't a choreographed masterpiece, no tuxedos, cloths draped over arms, napkins frantically re-folded when you step away, dishes served and cleared in unison. No, it's relaxed, warm, friendly, kind, like being at your grandmothers house and knowing you're surrounded by people who care. Met Greg and Katherine, the owners, and their daughter Alexandra and several other "family" members taking care of us. Their appreciation for your presence is unmistakable. *Ambience: it's just plain comfy, cozy, easy, relaxed, warm, deep, gentle, worn (in a good way), wise, and calm, that's the best I can describe it. Hard wood floors, cozy rooms, soft, warm lighting. It's a non-pretentious, French bistro that feels like the home of a favorite grandma or great aunt living in a warm family cottage in the outskirts of Paris. *Value: it's perfect. It's not ridiculously expensive like Kai, Brinkley's, Cafe Monarch, Christopher's, or French Laundry where you go, "okay, that was fun but we'll only do this very occasionally/rarely and it's probably worth it, but dang that was pricey!" No, Farish House is 100% value to experience, not cheap, but not overpriced, the balance is just right. It's a place you can go often, and we will. Yes, our meal with apps, drinks and dessert, some on happy hour and the Thursday wine special, was around $200. I'd happily say this experience was worth every penny. *Overall: I can't recommend Farish House highly enough. Parking is on the street or in a nearby lot, and that's a downtown thing. There's a small lot in back. The food, ambience, service, quality, and experience were stellar. I wish I could rate them 6 stars instead of just 5. I'll return often and highly recommend Farish House to everyone. I genuinely hope you enjoy as much as we did!
