The food here is good but the unwelcoming service left it hard to enjoy. If you want to close at 825 change your hours. 9p.m. is closing time so frowns and neglect aren't ways to get repeat visits. Have never been a fan of this place since I consider them a bit more expensive than the chain pizza places and I don't consider the quality to be all that special. However, earlier today my girlfriend and I were texting about dinner plans and I commented that, "I wish I could have pizza, but I'm lactose intolerant." She found out from a coworker that you guy carried a soy cheese pizza, and went down to ask about it, being a bit skeptical. She said that multiple people endorsed it, so she got one special for me and a regular pizza for her and her son. She was so happy to surprise me with it when she got home. I'm a soy milk & tofu fan, but the idea of soy cheese worried me. Yet there I was, on the spot trying it out right in front of her. I wanted to like it, I really really did. However, everything about this so called "cheese" was all wrong.* The first, and perhaps most important thing was the texture. They could have fooled me into thinking it was cheese if it had that gooey cheesy texture. Unfortunately this was just slimy, more like cream cheese than mozzarella. The second thing was the taste. At first it tasted a bit like those cheese spreads you get on cheap hamburgers, which was pretty good. However, this quickly got worse... and it lingered.... on... and on.... and on.... Finally there was the smell. Now this was probably just my brain playing tricks on me at this point, but I swear I got a whiff of something that smelled like a rancid Indian Paneer factory. I couldn't even try to put the cheese flavor on the back of my pallet, it just spread around in my mouth and masked everything else! The only reason I give you 2 stars is because everything else about the meal and the other pizza seemed satisfactory. Your pizza ruined my Dinner and my chances of getting whoopee tonight. Shame on you Olde Town, shame on you. *I really don't get how you get off calling this "soy cheese". It is not fucking cheese. It should be called "soy cheese slime product" or something. We eat here at least once a month or more ,but last night I made a call in order drove from redmond to pick it up the girl told me my total I asked her if the pizza or bread sticks had gone up she said no so I told her she charged me wrong she then said we charge. .75 for the box I told her that they have never charged me before then some kid came from the back and put his two cents in its a bunch of BS that on a $30 pizza they are so cheap the charge for the box will never do take out again and might not even go in I can stay in redmond and eat at jersey Boys cheaper and they don't charge for the box what a scam read more

a decent pizza. my only real complaint was the price. 41.00 for two 14" pizzas. that is a bit steep for the best pizza, which this is sincerely not. i had the primo: olives, artichokes, pesto, feta, some other stuff. my pizza was decent, i think that 3 of 5 stars in generous, but again the price! some of the best pizza i have had in my life has been a fraction of what they charge here. i just don't understand the markup, which is unfortunate because in a small town it is the details that account for decisions and the price will probably deter me from returning. read more

This is probably close to 5 stars! So far this has become our favorite pizza place in town. We have eaten in and got take out several times. They serve beer and wine only. The restaurant itself is not fancy. The pizza always comes stacked with toppings. The salad bar has always looked fresh. The pizza smells amazing and you can always see someone taking the raised dough and rolling it out. We have always got the regular crust with the fresh garlic. It is consistently very tasty! Our daughter loves that she can order her own slice however she wants. It's about $5 for two slices and they are made to order! The one thing I would say is that even if you ask for extra sauce there is hardly any on there. Their extra is more like regular, and there regular is more like light sauce. Disappointing for me but maybe good for you? It is the only reason I won't give it a 5. Maybe I should start ordering a side of sauce? Take out orders run you an extra .75cents per box. Last night it was packed but everyone looked like they were having a good time and the pizzas coming out still looked full of yummy toppings, no scrimping just because they were busy. One small vegetarian and one medium Hawaiian ran us $34. Maybe a little expensive but worth it. Next time we will try the extra thin crust.... read more

This pizza place makes me feel good when I am there. It brings back great memories of going to the pizza parlor as a kid. It has a warm and comfy vibe. Every time I have interacted with the employees or the owner they have been professional and kind. The pizza is the best old school pizza in town, with great flavor! I had the lunch special today with the sausage and mushroom pizza. I also had a little garlic added to it that made it extra tasty. Olde Towne Pizza gets 5 Stars for their salad bar as well. It is always CLEAN, which is SO important to me. The ingredients are fresh and the salad bar is always tidied up. Lastly, the restaurant is always clean and there are not unbussed tables. went in to order to go service... had my infant and 7 year old with me. We ordered the pizza paid $40 for a small a medium and a slice of cheese! Sat down for about 20 mins when I realized they just put our pizza in the oven! I asked how much longer they would be and she said about 20 mins! At this point I took the kids to the car and said I wished I had known it would take so long- no response! I then drove around the block a few times to try to entertain my infant and went to check on our food 3 separate times before they were actually ready! . Watched her box them up and then put then on top of the oven??? I asked if they were mine and she said she forgot about my daughter's slice and they were out - so it was going to be another 15 mins and they were going to make a personal pizza for her! I said just give me my pizza my kids are in the car and I have waited to long at this point! 43 minutes to be exact - her response "do you come here often? " (I think she might have offered something for compensation had I said yes) I replied this was our first visit and not a great experience! She just looked at me! No offer to refund me for the pizza I paid for and didn't get not an apology! Although the pizza was really good - I am not sure I would ever go back! I certainly would go to sit down! This place is not as upscale looking or as chic, but if you want good pizza, my family would recommend this place. My husband doesn't like thin crust pizza and many of the pizza places in Bend only make thin crust style pizzas. Olde Town offers different crust styles including a thicker crust they call Chicago style. For those of you who have had actual Chicago style pizza, you will probably disagree with that label. That said, the pizza was very good. Three of shared a half and half Hawaiian and their number two combination.
