My Bf ordered me a cake from here for my birthday and it was everything I wanted and more definitely exceeded my expectations! And I got exactly what I wanted! He made an order last minute as well and they were still able to do it and how I wanted I chose a heart shaped black cake even though the icing was staining since it was black it's was sooo good ! My friends enjoyed it too. Aside from that, they've got a huge selection of pastries to choose from. They've got everything from cakes, cupcakes, cheesecakes, cookies, pie, apple turnovers, cinnamon rolls, cake pops, danishes, and even fresh baked bread. I will say that this bakery is a little on the pricey side but for all the pastries that I've tried from them, they're worth the money. Plus, they've got a coffee area where you can order coffee, tea, and other special beverages. I got a blueberry Italian soda from them and it tasted pretty good. Autumn was RUDE! I called while I was down the street (2 minutes away) to put a cake on hold. As soon as I walked in I saw I made a mistake on the cake I asked for. I politely said excuse me to try to avoid anyone writing on the cake. She responded with "take a number". So I did and I waited. There was no one else waiting, the people ahead of me were being helped. When she finally came around to help me I told her I had made a mistake and wanted to catch them before they wrote on the cake, that I was sorry for the mistake. She came back with the cake already written on. I apologized again. She then scolded me saying, "next time don't write on the cake you've just waisted our money". Which I'm aware. This is why I tried to get someone's attention when I walked in to stop them from writing on the cake, I apologized over and over again (because I genuinely felt bad about the mistake, and I was embarrassed and scolded by this woman around the other guests. Amazing and quaint bakery in Turlock reminds me of the old school bakeries that used to be around and they have not skipped a beat here! I decided to grab a quick lunch and some goodies while in the neighborhood. I had the half turkey and pepper Jack sandwich on sourdough and it was simply delicious. The sandwich was large for a half and came with a pickle and cookie for only $7! I purchased some treats for the family from the bakery and the pizza focaccia was the favorite. I also got some chocolate chip cookies, an apple danish, salted Carmel bar and some raisin cookie bars that totally made me feel nostalgic!
