My first time going to this coffee cart since pre-Covid. I ordered a cardamom latte & it was delicious! Side note: they also offer a punch card. I will also add that the barista was really nice & also accommodating to time when I mentioned I was on my way to work. I also liked the ambiance. I will definitely be back.

Great little food cart spot we walked to from our daughter's soccer game at Duniway Park. Great service and coffee.

I've been here a few times now and I LOVE it!! I have been asking Todd (the owner) to make me whatever he feels like making that day, and I could not tell you what's in it but it's ALWAYS delicious!! The coffee is wonderful :) highly recommend this coffee roulette method :) My favorite part about coming though is talking to Todd! He's super friendly and happy and it makes my morning that much better! They also do a pay it forward program, where you can pick which drink to buy for someone who needs it! It's a sweet community effort and another reason I love it here :) you also get a 10% discount! And a stamp card!

This place is our jam! I go here every week with my coffee squad. The baristas know us and our order and of course serve us super wonderful coffee. They can do all the classic espresso drinks along with chai tea. They will also have a seasonal syrup that they will mix into their lattes-- currently they serve a speakeasy latte, which I believe is a reduced rum flavor. On top of the drinks, I also recommend the pastries. The croissants are our favorite-- they usually don't last a block or two on our way back to work. the place deserves special recognition for their focus on "paying it forward," that is, you can buy a drink and it will be reserved for anyone else that might not be able to get coffee that day. If you pay it forward, you get 10% off your order and you'll be able to put up a tally on the board for others to claim should they need a cup of joe. Lastly, I'm writing this in the middle of the COVID 19 thing. If you are a regular here, please buy a gift card or merch if you can! We love this cart and we want these guys to be making tasty lattes for a long time!

My latte wasnt the tiramisu latte but it was very good

Were from Southern California and we met todd with two Ds the owner and i wanted the tiramisu latte but was not in season so he made me something similar and let me tell you todd didn't disappoint while making our lattes he recommended other local spots in Portland but his lattes are very good like todd said ill see you tomorrow so we definitely are coming back

A swan and a bear made by the owner himself, Todd. Really awesome lattes and Todd is a great, cool guy! Thanks so much!!!

*My 240 review!! Yay!! Cheers to matcha and latte art!* Since I can't live without matcha, I wanted to see what Portland had to offer on it...turns out sadly not much. There's a few places, but not enough yet. Hopefully in the future. Well this place definitely stood out to me for two good reasons. They have matcha and they do latte art! Coming from the bay area, California, we have latte art places and it's really cute and fun to take pictures of our drinks lol. But it also shows talent, which is really cool! I was set on coming here. Arriving to the area, I couldn't find it. But remembering what I went to through before, I stopped looking for an actual place/building and started to look for a truck or pod. There it was, with a couple other pods. It's a very small place. You order right from the window. The day we went, the owner, Todd was working. He's a really cool guy. I asked him about the latte art and he was straight up honest and funny, saying how he could do some, but not all. He made us a swan and a bear. It was really cool. He did a really good job on them. The Matcha Lattes were amazing too. I wish I got it in a large. So much matcha taste to it. They weren't super hot either, didn't burn my tongue. Definitely something to post about. You must come check them out! There's of course other (coffee) drinks too. But if you're like me, come for the matcha. You won't be disappointed. This gives me another reason to come back to Portland.

This reminds me of the Korean cafes that are sprinkled all over Southern California. We were delighted to see it here! I ordered a black sesame late and a black sesame mochi donut. Being only one barista, right after you order, he makes your drink immediately. You can hear and see the espresso shots being made and the ice filling your cups. Dependent on your order, he pulls out the cream for the top. I can see the black sesame cream top being very thick and full. A lot of patrons were ordering their tiramisu latte, and I don't blame them! It's what is very popular here. Personally, I enjoyed the black sesame latte very much. It was the perfect amount of cream and sweetness. The taste didn't overpower the coffee, which is nice. Their mochi donuts were good, too, with the consistency of mochi dough. Definitely would make another stop here if I'm ever around!

They are located outdoors within a repurposed trimet station, which add such a a unique Portland touch to their vibe. Although usually a 1-2 person operation, drinks always come out relatively quick! I tried the tiramisu latte and the black sesame latte. The tiramisu latte was easily my favorite. The cream top is rich and delicious, and when mixed into the coffee it really tastes like a classic tiramisu dessert. It's sweet, smooth, and feels like a treat without being overwhelming. The black sesame latte was also great, especially if you like nutty flavors. It has a natural sweetness with a deep roasted sesame taste that almost reminds me of peanut butter, making it both comforting and unique. I've also had their regular latte before and really appreciate the quality of their espresso. The coffee itself has a smooth, balanced flavor that stands out even without added syrups or toppings. A great spot to visit if you enjoy creative specialty drinks but still want genuinely good coffee underneath it all.

It manages to be effortlessly cool without being intimidating, and the quality of the coffee is consistently top-tier. Here is why it's my favorite corner of the Pearl District: The Coffee Curation: What sets Barista apart is that they are a multi-roaster cafe. They feature a rotating selection of the best beans from across the country (and locally!). Whether you're drinking a pour-over or a traditional macchiato, the flavor profiles are always distinct and expertly pulled. Masterful Latte Art: The baristas here are true artists. Every drink looks like a masterpiece, but more importantly, the milk texture is always silky and perfectly steamed. The Aesthetic: The space is stunning. With its dark wood accents, industrial-chic lighting, and those massive windows looking out onto the cobblestone streets of the Pearl, it's the perfect spot to people-watch or get lost in a book. It feels like a cozy, sophisticated library for coffee lovers. The Staff: Despite being one of the busiest spots in the neighborhood, the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. They are always happy to nerd out about tasting notes or help you pick a bag of beans to take home. The Vibe: It's a great balance of "neighborhood regular" and "must-visit destination." It captures that classic Portland energy perfectly. Pro Tip: Pair your drink with one of their fresh pastries--their selections are always fresh and complement a bold espresso perfectly. Love how amazing the staff is. And the coffee is chef's kiss. Thank you!
