We liked our first visit to Ole Red, the singer was great and the food was decent. The atmosphere was neat as well. We were surprised we got to keep the mason jars that was a nice perk.

Stopped here for dinner on a Tuesday night. There was live music playing and no wait at 5pm. We were sat upstairs with a party of 4. We couldn't see the live music from where our table was, but there was a tv that we could watch. The menu has GF items marked. I informed our server of me being celiac and asked if the beyond burger was GF. She confirmed with the kitchen that it was. I ordered that on a GF bun with a side of cheddar mashed potatoes. They do not have a dedicated fryer for fries. When my food came out, the bun looked very suspicious and seemed like their normal potato bun. I asked the server to confirm with the kitchen. She took the food, came back with a GF bun and confirmed the original bun was incorrect. I asked her to remake everything since I cannot have cross contamination. The person who brought us our food came out and said he is going to have everything remade including the mashed potatoes. When my food did come out, he had gloves on and gave me new silverware. I still ended up not feeling well after so I must have had some cross contamination. I didn't eat anything from the first plate though. The server was not very knowledgeable and didn't really check on us after the fact. Would not recommend for celiacs.

We came here for dinner. We were seated at the bar area right away. The Live music was great the artist was Tim Rhodes. The bar tender (Red) was awesome. The food took a long time to come out. We got our meals and did not get the appetizer that we ordered "Turning me on Brisket Tots". We had the bartender cancel that item. That was disappointing especially after waiting for soo long. I had the bacon jam burger which was pretty good with a side of tots was more like a hash brown mix which was disappointing. The Burger was a 4 out of 5 stars. Tots get a 0 out of 5. My wife had the meatloaf and Brussels sprouts, she said they were good. Not the best in the world but solid. 3 stars out of 5. We ordered drinks. I had the Strawberry Margarita and it was alright not good not bad. My wife had the Top Dog Margarita and had to send it back. It was terrible. It tasted like drinking a really sour/tart candy. Overall it was an okay place to eat just don't have high expectations. The live music was the best part of our experience here.

The singer was great, lots of great old country and classic rock covers

Back in Gatlinburg for a weekend visit, wife and I decided to stop in here to take in some live music with dinner. The music was great, however, my wife ended up with food poisoning and we had to cut the weekend short. Next time we're in Gatlinburg we will likely eat someplace else and only stop in here for live music and drinks

This was my family and I's first time going to an Ole Red. We were hoping for a cool, laid back live music ambience and we got mostly what we wanted. The food, not very good. We ordered the tater tots and the cheese curds, they came on the same plate and we got exactly 4 cheese curds. The beer glass that we got served was dirty with ominous marks all over the rim. Our service was plain bad, Tiffany was rude, and disappeared constantly. Her tone seemed as though she wanted nothing to do with her tables, and she couldn't answer any of the questions we asked. We asked why the french fries were vegetarian and the tater tots weren't, and she humbled us with the quick response of "I have no idea."

Let's be honest, you come here for the experience. It's in a very touristy area, and part of the appeal is being able to say you've been to Blake Shelton's restaurant. The food is fine, nothing bad, but not the main reason to go. The atmosphere is really what stands out. We visited during the off season, and the live music was great with only a small crowd, which made it much more enjoyable. The decor is well done and adds to the overall vibe. There's also a small gift shop, but it's definitely on the expensive side. This feels like more of a one or two time stop rather than somewhere you'd go regularly. If you're a Blake Shelton fan, it's worth checking out at least once. I wouldn't go out of my way for it, and I definitely wouldn't come during peak season, but in the off season, I would stop in again.

I should have known better...complete tourist trap but we were starving!! The food was gross. Could have got something better off a food truck. I had the triple pig sandwich (I think that's what it's called). The bacon was floppy, old and had white grease caked on it. The side salad I ordered came in a paper boat tray. C'mon yall, for the prices you're charging, take your ingredients and plate presentation up a few notches! Our server was so robotic and sounded like he was reading a script. Live music was good!

Food quality/price (value) rating 9. The atmosphere is Country Concert Hall. This venue is backed by Blake Shelton and features live country music all day long. I had the grilled Cajun style chicken sandwich with avocado and bacon. It was excellent. The wife had the Taco salad and said it was very good, especially since it didn't have the big taco shell but instead had the corn chip strips. The drinks were well made and the service was good. Definitely a great vacation experience.

Destiny was awesome!!! While we weren't quite ready for lunch, we enjoyed music by Nathan Morgan. We've been to the Nashville location and gatlinburg did not disappoint!

Keep on walking... We were starving after a long hike and saw this place and it wasn't busy (I know why now) - one and done place. Live music is great but there wasn't any when we were there. We ordered a chicken sandwich and a Bluetick Burger both with the tater tots. Burger is supposed to be cooked medium per the menu. Chicken sandwich was the better of the two but sadly the chicken was DRY. The bun doesn't hold up to the avocado and slaw. The burger/ I honestly can't believe they even served - shame on the cook and the server. The meat was so overcooked and add a 10 day old dried out bun... I asked for some BBQ sauce because the burger comes with no mayo no ketchup no mustard just a dried out (literally) bun - I was charged for the BBQ sauce. Service was OK - it's really disappointing when you spend hard earned money and feel cheated. That's all I have to say about this place.

We stopped into Ole Red for lunch while walking through Gatlinburg, and the moment I stepped inside, I felt like I'd been transported straight to Nashville. The vibe is undeniable, great layout, solid service, and live music that's genuinely hard to pass up. On atmosphere alone, Ole Red delivers five stars easily. The food, however, didn't live up to the setting or the price tag. I ordered the Pulled Pork Bar-B-Que Sandwich with house-smoked pulled pork, vinegar slaw, pickles, Ole Red BBQ sauce, on a potato bun, plus a side of fully loaded tater tots with white queso, taco meat, and sour cream. The BBQ pork itself was a major disappointment. Honestly, I've had better pulled pork reheated from the grocery store. It lacked flavor, depth, and anything resembling "house-smoked" character. The fully loaded tater tots were solid and easily outshined the sandwich. The surprise star of the table was the cornbread. We tried to sub it instead of fries and were told it had to be ordered separately... once it arrived, I understood why. It came out in a massive cast-iron skillet and was some of the best cornbread I've had in years. Warm, rich, and absolutely worth it. All in all, Ole Red feels a bit like a tourist stop: great energy, live music, and a fun experience, paired with mid-range, predictable food. I probably wouldn't go back specifically for a meal, but there's nothing wrong here.. just don't come expecting the food to match the hype.

    Great music and good vibe

Avoid this place. Read the other reviews also. Management's responses are all the same ... sorry for your experience...passed on the info...didn't meet our standards that we strive for... give us another chance. Constantly saying the same thing to poor reviews for o er a year and never a specific response to the issues that are brought up. They obviously don't care to change anything or learn from complaints as there are no changes. Prices are way too high for bar food and the $20 beer in the forced souvenir glass. Food was only fair and service just ok. Server disinterested. Asked for plates for our appetizer and we get tiny paper plates. For the prices can't you get an actual plate? Nachos were a 2 out of 5 even with paying a premium to add about 2 tablespoons of low flavored brisket. Music was great and made it worth the stop for sure. Just don't eat here or expect a reasonably priced drink. Eat here at your own risk. Management: please don't waste your time with another canned response. If you cared you would be fixing the problems rather than just keep apologizing and saying your learning. A year is plenty long enough.

You'll…read moreavoid a lot of the tourist traffic here with its unique vibe, and you'll come away with a memory of "that cute British pub" when it's all over. NOTES: -This place is run on bare bones staff. I'd guess maybe two cooks and the single server. It is not a place to come if you need quick service or quick food. They're very friendly (even if you're not a local!), but definitely come when you have a lot of extra time. -This place is not accessible in the slightest. You'll need to go up two flights of very steep stairs to make it to the front door. The stairs are on the old side, and I was concerned about one breaking. There is no elevator. -The parking lot is relatively small and shared with a nearby Urgent Care. It's gravel and grass, and people mostly made their "own" spot where they wanted. As this made for a haphazard parking lot with small margins for cars, I wouldn't let a newer driver park here. PROS: -Lots of unique British dishes. We've never seen somewhere serving Bubbles and Squeak and lots of other dishes. If you're not familiar with niche British dishes, you'll probably have to pull out your cell phone to figure out what some of this stuff is - and that's really fun. -Food is really good. It tastes like food-your-mom-would-make instead of gourmet takes on these dishes. It has a really authentic, small business vibe to it. -Unique beers on tap too. You aren't going to find Bud Light or Miller Lite on tap here. All of their beers are unique pub fare. They do offer some of the American favorites in a can/bottle, but this is a great excuse to try beers you wouldn't normally have access too. -Despite the older age of the building, the bathrooms are very modern and very clean. Most gas station bathrooms are in worse shape than the ones here. CONS: -It's definitely a small, "small margins" business, and all of the cons that go along with that. Food took awhile, upcharge for using a credit card, non-focal dishes may have been frozen/reheated/canned, and parking was difficult. That all being said, we're looking to come back again, and the atmosphere (and the taste of their unique star dishes) make it one of those places you'll actually talk about when you're done with your trip instead of forgetting that morning you simply went to Denny's to scarf down pancakes.

So you're either all in, or you're like my grumpy self: wondering when you can leave, and wondering why your soup is being poured into your bowl from a foil-lined Tupperware container like you're serving time in a penitentiary. This show is bananas. I had no idea what was going on at any point. Don't ask me about the plot. All I know is that there were bison, and people riding horses, and people waving flags, and at some point there was a big boom and some flashing lights. It's a show, for sure. It's something to watch while you eat. The food is fine. You get a lot of it! This is a prix fixe menu, so I don't believe you can pick what you want. You get what you get and you don't throw a fit, basically. You get a whole game hen, for crying out loud. Contrary to what some people think, you are not forced to eat with your hands here. You are provided with forks and spoons. But the game hen is something that you can tuck into with your hands, if you wanted to. You also get soup (poured from the aforementioned foil-lined Tupperware pitcher), a biscuit, mashed potatoes, pulled pork, corn on the cob, and a dessert, which was some sort of vanilla and chocolate coconut cake. It's a lot of food. A beverage is included with the meal, but if you want an alcoholic beverage, then that's a separate charge. I got a glass of red wine, because there was no way that I was going through this experience completely sober. I am not the audience for Dolly Parton's Stampede, but I'm glad I visited. Before my visit, I talked to a friend who had fond memories of visiting this dinner theatre show with his family many times when he was younger.
