The food has plenty of potential, but unfortunately it often ends up not quite as hot as it should be, and most of the items I've had have been disappointingly bland. A little more care and seasoning could make this a keeper, but in it's present state its not worth a trip "up the hill" during the traffic-plagued lunch hour. read more

Sadly, I do have to changed this review from a 5 to a 1.... the first few times we went there were excellent, the next would have moved the review from a 5 to a 3 due to poor service. We figured it was a one-off, and went back again some time later, now we move into the 1 category. Came in, maybe 6-8 tables are occupied...... got seated, and waited........and waited. Finally our waitress shows up drops off water and disappears.......more waiting... finally comes back and takes our order, and disappears. We ordered appetizers, they came out......wrong , we send them back our dinner shows up.......wrong......we complain and the response we get is......."sorry, she's new and we're so busy" (please see above.......6-8 tables occupied). No one really seemed to give a care, so we talked to the manager at least didn't have to pay for food we didn't want and didn't eat and left. Hopefully the staff has been updated and better training given, but you lost our business. read more

Olgas is one of my moms fav restaurants so we go there any time we go to Michagen. Olgas is amazing I love their chicken fingers they are so good and so are their lemonade and fries!!!!! And don't get me started on the smackers the cheese dip is so good and so are the little breads!!! I love how are grandparents only live 10 minutes away so we go there once and I love it but it is so sad how they closed most down. read more

Olga's is a must stop and eat place when visiting the Detroit Metro Area! Excellent in every aspect and I love their fresh hot food. I wish there was an Olga's back home in Washington State by my house so I could dine in more often and enjoy their food way more than I do. read more

Sabrina was our server and she was so nice. She gave me a to go cup for my coffee without me even asking. I accidentally left more money than my check as a tip and she asked me if I was sure and I adjusted the amount and now I wish I would have given it all to her. I must say I always appreciate when a business takes enough pride in their service and quality to contact a previous customer but when it falls short and someone who is in a management role states they will contact you back and wants you to take the extra time to write the detailed review in an email when you do that as a customer and then get no response it is quite disheartening and mildly aggravating then why did they request you to take the extra time out of your day to write an email with detailed notes about your experience if they don't care enough to get back with you please do not waste my time and yours if you are not going to follow through this definitely dropped this location down to a one star I wish I could put a zero hopefully in the future it will go back up is starting to feel like this chain is just a McDonald's with window dressing and how can you mess up food off of a slow cooker sad to see and sad to write read more

Our server was Adrienne. She was prompt friendly and a great server. Food was perfect. Boyfriend got a chicken shawarma and I got a medium Italian pasta salad that she recommended I get. I've never tried a chicken shawarma but this was a great first time tasting it as it was delicious! Got amazing snackers, yummy cheese bites, and a Birmingham brownie. I used to love Olga's until I started going to this location. It just seems lacking in every way. Most of the servers manning the take-out counter are not efficient and will leave you standing there waiting to be served forever. Got an Olga's salad and three-cheese - the salad was all lettuce with scant toppings and tiny amount of dressing. The three cheese wasn't warm and so bland. And not a napkin or utensil to be found in the bag. I ate about a third of my meal and couldn't finish any of it. Won't be going back anytime soon. read more

This used to be my favorite restaurant and I used to have excellent service both dining in and carry out. The past 5! Times I've felt less than welcomed upon entering and my food arrived to my table way to fast and cold by a snotty waitress. Today I stopped in for carry out and wasn't greeted when I entered I just got weird looks from a group of waitresses standing near the door finally one unfriendly lady took my order. The quality and freshness of their food has decreased drastically. Also today I used a coupon for a free basket of snackers and they were hard as a rock over seasoned and I only received a half of cup of cheese. I've gotten snackers to go before and they were good and came with two cups of cheese! Why offer that deal and give a customer old bread and minimal cheese. The sad part is I have 2 gift cards to use and I'm just considering giving them away to a friend. If I do go to olgas again it won't be this location. Funny thing is I actually met olga herself at this location about a month ago. read more

Oh my goodness gracious! Are those snackers a piece of heaven?! I could eat those all day not to mention their super good lemonades! I have nothing but good things to say about this Olga's. It's my first choice as there are two in the area. I usually get carry-out and I've never had a problem with it. 90% of the time the cashier is always Hollie, and she always greets with a smile and is cheerful - which is nice because you get a lot of bad attitude's in the restaurant business. read more

Waited for 20 minutes longer than was told for curbside to go and was never brought food or told it would be a little longer. I left.

I'm fully convinced our waitress was stoned! We went in here with our 3 year old son and this lady taking our order forgot to put our order in! We waited and finally after about 25 minutes I asked where our food is and all she said was "shoot" and went back to the kitchen. 10 minutes later she came back and said there was a mix up and it was her to blame. I was just at this rest. and I have to say the food was just o.k. and the service was just o.k. The employees were all sitting around and talking, the rest. needs a good cleaning. All the tops of the booths had dust and crumbs, it was obvious no one wipes them down daily also the booth wall was so dirty, the floor was slippery like it had grease on it. my friend, marylynn, and i were so pleasantly surprised to enjoy and outstanding dinner at the olga's kitchen amidst all of our shopping favorites. chicken cooked to perfection .......swiss cheese spread for the snacker wedges to die for... and yummy cream of broccoli soup....let us not forget the freash and tasty salad! to add to our pleasure and contentment a server worthy of tipping....yes and a double tip to boot......matt was exceptional and took extra good care of us including a sugar free smoothie for marylynn... yep can hardly wait to return for another meal read more

Worst take-out service, EVER! They take forever to even take your order. Several wait staff and managers will walk past you and ignore your presence as you try to flag them down while you stand at the counter UNATTENDED! When you finally do get someone they are extremely slow as slow can be! My daughter ordered a smoothie after a group of ordered smoothies and thought they were a refreshing treat on a hot summer day. Five minutes later and got up and walked over to the counter to see what was taking so long. (There was no other customers waiting for carry-out and the lunch crowd was gone.) I saw the same wait staff wiping down the smoothie station and putting ingredients away. I tried to call out to her to see where my daughter's smoothie was but she walked away and into the kitchen. A manager was right there in front of us, clearly frustrated and busily fixing a bill on the register, he ignored us, as well. Finally I spoke up and said, "Excuse me, sir, can my daughter have her money back!" That caught his attention. "What do you need?! he huffed in exasperation. I explained to him the situation he obviously already overheard. He said, "I'm sure she's going to get around to it!" Then he went back to his issue with the register. I saw the wait staff reappear and called out her name on her nametag, "Megan!" She walked over to us and said, "Can I help you?" I said, "My daughter ordered and paid for a smoothie now ten minutes or so ago, from YOU, what happened to it?" She laughed at herself and said, "Oh yea! I forgot. I will make it now." (We were sitting outside at the picnic tables with a group of friends and I asked Megan if she could bring it out to us when it was ready because we were clearly missing out on quality time with our group playing, "Where's my order?" She agreed to do so. About another ten minutes later she showed up with my daughter's smoothie, no apology. I asked her what might have been the problem with the carry out service (it's always like this, that's why I do not go to that particular Olga's often). She started giggling and said, "No, not problem, we are not even busy." She then walked away and back into Olga's. It was ridiculous the way she kept giggling and seemed completely out of it but even more disturbing was how the manager treated us like we were bothering him and how he shrugged us off when we asked for a refund. Love the food! I get carry out from this location all the time and my only problem is their website. You are suppose to be able to order online but 2/3 of the time this location (and this location alone) is "offline". Obviously no one really knows how it works here.
