We had heard great things about Olía and decided to try it for ourselves. Easy and plenty of street parking when we arrived at about 11 am and it's away from the chaos of downtown Glendale. We were greeted by a few friendly employees and handed menus. We ordered a cheese burger and breakfast wrap. Both were great and arrived to our table in about 15 minutes. The breakfast wrap comes with cheddar cheese and I replaced it with goat cheese, it was fantastic! There is a coffee bar with Starbucks coffee and plenty of other coffees available. Seating is available inside or outside and there are heaters on the patio but they weren't on, so we opted for inside. It was loud inside at all and we could hear each other with no problem. We highly recommend a stop here and we will definitely be back. Enjoy!

As the main restaurant of the Glenmark hotel, Olia features a mixture of California and Armenian dishes. It is a fusion restaurant that does a solid job jumping from a khachapuri to an avocado toast, a feat that few spots would dare to put on one menu. The interior is brightly lit, with large open windows, high ceilings and elegant contemporary bistro furniture. Ordering occurs at the counter and the staff are incredibly kind. There is a homey sense to Olia somehow and despite being located in a hotel, it felt that a lot of the diners are regulars as opposed to hotel guests. Armenians coming to sit down for hours, to enjoy each other's company. The California khachapuri may be the highlight of the menu, served with avocado. As a whole, an excellent spot. Fresh ingredients and an adventurous selection that is executed well.

Very disappointing service. We said hello when we arrived and the waiter ignored us. We waited 10-15 minutes to order, and no one helped. When the waiter finally came, she told us to wait and then turned away to laugh and chat with another staff member. Poor management and poor service. I don't recommend this place if you value your time.

I was traveling alone and loved that I could order this high quality meal without having to visit the roof top restaurant. I was in the hotel common area. The atmosphere was cozy and even a little lively. I ordered the lamb and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Beautifully plated too. Service was impeccable. I'll for sure done here again next time I'm in town.

Staff is patient as well and the aura of the place is so relaxing, however I do feel like there's quite a few things missing. Let's talk about food! The food is definitely fresh and you can tell! I ordered the waffle which was good. The shakshuka was okay nothing revolutionary. I did let them know I can't have spice at all but the shakshuka does have spice in it and was brought out. Thankfully they were willing to fix it! Water you do have to go get yourself. This wouldn't be my go-to however overall wouldn't mind going back again.

Olia Restaurant offers an exceptional dining setting...it's clean, upscale, and the attention to detail in the restaurant is truly excellent. The food is also spot on. I highly recommend the Shakshouka and Matcha Pancakes, which were both awesome and really tasty. It's a nice touch that they also serve Starbucks coffee. The only drawback is the service, which was occasionally questionable; staff were blunt, often responding with a simple "no" instead of offering helpful alternatives for requests. It doesn't take much to please a customer; all you gotta do is try. If they improve this approach to customer service, Olia is an easy 5-star restaurant.

Unfortunately, the experience has been consistently disappointing. Walking into a coffee shop should feel welcoming. Instead, most visits feel cold and uncomfortable. There is rarely a hello, welcome, smile, or thank you from the staff. The overall attitude often feels bothered or uninterested, almost like customers are an inconvenience rather than appreciated guests. The coffee itself is decent at times, inconsistent at others, but customer service is what keeps people coming back. I truly hope the owner and management take this feedback seriously and focus on creating a more welcoming environment. A simple greeting, smile, and positive attitude go a long way. There are many coffee shops people can choose from, and feeling appreciated matters just as much as the product itself. I wanted to support this business, but after many visits and the same experience over and over again, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I cannot express my newfound love for this place enough!…read more I am a self-proclaimed latte snob, and let me tell you, every other coffee shop (yes, even Starbucks) doesn't even come close to the quality I found here. The Seasonal Sensation: I ordered their seasonal Pumpkin Spice Ube Latte, and my taste buds were absolutely popping! I have never tasted anything like it. The balance was perfect--it wasn't overly sweet, but it wasn't sour either. It was a perfectly crafted drink that I could easily become addicted to. A Note of Sadness: This incredible drink was only seasonal, and the last day to get it was November 30th. I'm already counting down the days until next fall! Beyond the Latte While Cafe 86 is famous for its ube treats and drinks (and though I'm usually not a fan, both the latte and the ube cookies I tried were absolutely phenomenal), their menu is extensive. They offer a great variety, including: Halo-Halo Milk Shakes and Milk Teas Coolers, Slush, and Affogato A full Espresso Bar and other unique lattes Baked goods and sandwiches Location & Service You can find this gem conveniently located inside the Glendale Galleria, right next to Dick's Sporting Goods. They also have several other locations throughout California and Arizona. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. If you're unsure what to order from their diverse menu, don't hesitate to ask them--they are happy to offer excellent recommendations! I will definitely be back. Cafe 86 is a must-try for anyone looking for a unique and high-quality treat!

This review is for the King Jasmine Guava ($7.99) only!!…read more I don't like slushies or chunky drinks so I've had sips of their coconut mango and grape slushie before and didn't enjoy it... but that would be unfair since I don't like those types of drinks in general. So anyways Heytea was completely off my radar because I figured I wasn't their target audience (which is fair) HOWEVERRR this new guava drink has me in a chokehold!! It's not thick and chunky like their other stuff. And it's actually good?? I hate that it's good because I went from a Heytea hater to a Heytea frequenter. It's floral, fragrant and it's a perfect mix of guava and milk/cream. Never would I have thought to pair guava and dairy together BUT IT WORKS SOMEHOW. Think strawberries and cream... but guava. The jasmine tea isn't prominent but it's there as a base layer and definitely smells soooo good. The guava taste is strong and I don't know what magic they put in there but it's not artificial and gross. The cream on top is nice too! I tend to drink from the lid the first and just enjoy the cream and then afterwards I'll mix it in with the drink. It's $8 which is pricey.... But I hate that I like it. I've gotten it like 5 times this month alone. They ran out of stickers but the drink is still just as good!

Well, except for the coffee, according to my Dad, but the man drinks a blend of CostCo and Starbucks coffee . . . so some fine coffee connoisseur he is not. I didn't taste it as I'm on Dr.'s orders to be off caffeine, so I had the armenian herb tea, which was lovely. The place is small, but beautifully decorated, and really cozy. When we walked in, it was a quaint quiet cafe and had an inviting atmosphere. We didn't get his name, unfortunately, but at the register the very nice gentleman gave us recommendations on what sweet coffees we can try. He recommended the Spanish Latte as a sweet iced coffee and I, myself, love sweetened condensed milk and so we both ordered it. Just as promised it was nice and sweet. Had more of a milkyness to it and not much strong coffee flavor if what you desire is the flavor of the bean. As for food, we ordered the Smoked Salmon Croissant and Turkey Baguette. Both light and not too heavy and delicious. On the side, it came with a nicely portioned side mixed green salad and a very tasty tangy vinaigrette. It was not a long wait at all after we ordered and it was a nice and quiet lunch. The music was not too loud, so we were able to enjoy having a conversation. It was such a cute place and I would definitely love to go again.
