Cozy and quiet family of course owned restaurant with amazing food! The lasagna is 10/10 and the Garlic bread is icing on the top. The servers are amazing.

Eating at the Olive Branch Cafe was a pleasure. The service was friendly and the wait time wasn't too long. However, it took a while for my dish to come out and there were mushrooms on a plate that was requested with none. The waitress was very communicative and friendly with us and our big party. The environment was small and felt super homie! Overall would recommend! DR.PEPPER RATING: 9/10 was Mr.Pibb

The portion is way too small. Had the white chocolate sauce. Sauce was ok. Nothing special about this dessert.

Workers over the phone and in person were very helpful and pleasant. Food was ok. Nothing mind-blowing, but it wasn't horrible. Facility is clean.

Service was great. Food... not so much. Portions were a good size and we got BOGO half off pastas. Caesar salad - homemade Caesar dressing. It didn't taste like Caesar dressing. But I don't really know what it tasted like. My dude said maybe it needed more anchovy in it or something. But overall, not a bad salad. Angel hair and meatballs - too much breading in the meatballs that made it super mushy. And the sauce was very watery. Needed a lot of salt, as well. Came out warm, but not hot. Becky's pasta - sounded like an amazing dish so I had to have it! Came with red onion, shrimp, mushrooms. And it came out piping hot! Just the way I like it. But, it was super rich and not much flavor. Came with fried eggplant on top. That was very good and the breading was seasoned well. Garlic bread - it was basically a mini garlic cheese pizza. Was good to dip in the pasta sauces.

We run by here every once in a while and the food is always great. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs and it was so good. The portion was so big that i had enough for lunch the next day.

I got a Spinach salad with my 3-topping pizza + whatever salad you want combo. Here's my Pepperoni, mushroom and spinach pizza-YUM!

Love both of the locations, Gretna and Marrero. I live in the East Bank but Olive Branch Cafe is one of my favorite places to eat in the West Bank. The pizza and salad combo is a fabulous value and the ingredients for everything are like farm-fresh. Absolutely delicious! Thanks!

Came back to order the Margarita pizza. Wasn't a fan, felt like the pizza was underwhelming and bland.

We saw on the menu that checks could not be split, which was fine even though split would be preferable to us. So, when our server told us the check can't be split but she can "take multiple cards" I was a bit confused and asked if she could explain more since that's what we might do, since she said it was possible. Already there she gave attitude and said I don't know how else to explain it to you in a rude tone. After we finished our food, we asked her to take multiple cards for the check and she told us to write on the back what to charge each card. I apologize that I did misunderstand what she meant, and put the items rather than the exact amount to charge each card. She came back and said, "you did exactly what I said not to do." So I said sorry and was in the midst of redoing it by calculating when she just snatched it from me and said she'll just do it. I had no problem doing it nor did we complain even once. After a while, understandably, she came back and basically scolded us, saying what if she was busy she wouldn't have been able to do this....but she said she could do it in the first place! We understood from the get go no split checks but then she gave the option of multiple cards so obviously we took it. The food was good and the ambience was nice. I enjoyed the open kitchen concept and seeing the pizza oven. But the service ruined it for me. I work the food industry and would have never acted this way. Nevertheless, I would come again but would not want that server.

I had their lasagna and it was very unique, it wasn't your traditional lasagna as the pasta noodles were green and it had some other unique flavors going on but we liked it. AMBIANCE: The perfect ambience really. I can't stand going to a restaurant for dinner and it is bright lighting but this was absolutely perfect. Not too light and not dark. The perfect in between. Music was nice and appropriate and the interior decor was very upscale. Like if I was to ever to open a restaurant this decor would be my inspiration. Just cheese pizza. Of course we already ordered one for us and yea agree. No sauce, super thin crust and just a lack of good pizza flavor. Had the white and added prosciutto. Won't be going for pizza here. Speghetti also had an odd flavor which the kids not I enjoyed. Kind of like vinegar. The tagliatelle though was amazing. The sauce was spot on just a little too frugal with it. The truffle was a great mix and just the whole dish was a balance of savory umami. Would love to see a protein with it though. Tried the meat and cheeses which were fantastic as well with the accompaniments and fried bread. I really enjoyed the chicken patte. The prosciutto was good nothing exciting. The bresaola was ok. The matru, bocconcino, and Harbison were all good. Of all the desserts tried the lemon sorbet was best but thats from brocatos. One of my fav places. The banana cake was not bad. Liked how it wasn't that sweet if you don't eat the brittle. The chocolate coconut didn't care for because of the hazelnuts. Will have to try another pasta to see if they match the deliciousness of the tagliatelle.

Now, we've eaten at the restaurant across the street probably twenty times, and while we always liked it, it seems like we would find ourselves looking across the street & wondering why we'd not made it to the Napoleon House. Today, we made it. And on a very HOT morning. Our hostess was lovely, the food hit all the right notes, and service was efficient. Something I really liked was the pastrami on the muffuletta. The bread was different from my expectations. Also it looks like a traditional muffuletta loaf, it is softer inside, and the crust avoided having that razor-sharp crustiness. The only downside was my iced Irish coffee. I got no hint of booze, and the coffee tasted like it was yesterday's leftovers from the bottom of the pot.

The red front door is the marker. Sorry for the lack of pictures, but we were so focused on the incredible food, we forgot to take food pics. Sorry. Look on Google. What makes the meal even more incredible is the servers. We seem to get a different one each time, so the show is different each time. When I say show, I mean the entertaining interaction you have with the staff. It's awesome. Not only do they know their menu, but also let their personalities run wild. We ordered the flounder special with ocean sauce. The double flounder was topped with shrimp and wow, the special cajun ocean sauce was delicious! They said they are known for it and it's understandable why. My kiddo ordered the veal (with ocean sauce) and it was perfectly tender and also delicious. We also ordered the chicken parmesan which was very good as well. It took a while for the food to get to us but given the level of expertise by the chefs, it totally made up for any delay. All of the entrees come with either salad or pasta which hits the spot and is coursed very well. There is a bar downstairs where they had live music which was nice but not exactly what we wanted to listen to. Glad we went to dinner there because of all the amazing flavors. I eat just about anything. I don't shy away from Taco Bell, or even gas station food but I also frequent high end restaurants. I'd rather eat McDonald's over Mona Lisa. The only decent aspect of my meal was the decor in the restaurant. Even the server was short and cold. The food at Mona Lisa is all low quality frozen stuff that they buy from restaurant depot. It was all bland and boring. I would say that at-best the food is mediocre but edible. It feels to me like an elevated Cici's pizza in there.
