The pizza is good, however, employee was very rude over the phone. I called to order a pizza and the employee was very short with me initially. Then when I asked for gluten free crust, he said they didn't have gluten free. I informed him the online menu does say there is a gluten free option. Instead of an apology (or anything resembling a kind tone), I received another rude, "yeah, we don't have it." This is really hard as a kid I grew up eating at the one in garland and it was always a great place to escape school and go to. However the Richardson location lacks the ability to make a proper Flying Pig I received it smashed down half the size it used to be very little Cheese and overcooked to the point of being dry. Ordered a "supreme" pizza for delivery. Pizza is classic and what you want from a pizza joint. It's better than the chain places and tastes authentic for a hand tossed, regular oven-baked pie. It's not fancy like the wood or coal oven pies, but it's also not a chain cardboard pie. It's a safe go to and a friendly neighborhood type joint. The flying pig. Get the flying pig, or piglet if you don't want 2 meals out of it. Awesome sandwich with basically everything under the sun on it. Puts a flyer on your door. Will deliver to you one week but then says they don't deliver to your address on a different occasion. Why would they advertise delivery if they don't honor it? Not to mention we've seen them deliver to our complex multiple times. Extremely irritated. Will stick to our regular pizza and pasta place that never disappoints. read more

My bf and I LOVE Olive Oil's. I'm not a huge pizza fan but I cannot resist a slice from Olive Oil's. I usually get their salads, which are HUGE btw. The grilled chicken salad or the chicken caesar salad are amazing and well worth the $7 price tag. Yes, their pizza is on the greasy side, but like the previous post says, I don't see the grease factor as a bad thing. We usually order for delivery and they are very fast (which is surprising because we actually live pretty far from Campbell). The food arrives hot and fresh, and the delivery driver is very nice. Huge menu! It's a little weird to go inside and order but it's exactly what I wanted. I've lived around this location for over 2 years, and have searched for some good pizza that has a thin and crispy crust, fresh vegetables (no canned mushrooms) and lite grease. I probably go out for pizza once a month, and have finally found what I'm looking for at Olive Oil's. I mostly pick up my pizzas and I'm amazed what other restaurants pass for pizza around here, but Oilive Oil's doesn't disappoint. How hard is it to provide fresh mushrooms? Olive Oil's got'em - some don't. How hard is it to keep the pizza dough firm and chewy or crisp throughout (no cheesy doughy grease bombs made for drunk students). Is Olive Oil's the best pizza in town? No. Are they delivering a quality product at a reasonable price? Definitely. They are better than the big chains so give them a try. Update: I've tried their delivery now. They delivered my pizza when they said they would. I have always been a fan of thin crust pizza, so this is what I always order. The ingredients in my combo were fresh. Again, not the best pizza I've ever had, but much better than average for the far n dallas/ richardson area. Update 9/6/09...after consuming what was probably my 6th thin and crispy pie from Olive Oil's, I still totally stand by everything I said previously. Keep it up Olive Oil. I do love Olive Oil's pizza but it's not just the pizza, it's the entire experience. I'm not sure what has happened to the Richardson store but the customer service as dropped off. In fact, it's non-existent. I give places two chances to make things right and Olive Oil's has failed twice. The first time I had company in town so we wanted to do something easy. Our pizza took over 1.5 hours to arrive and one of the times I called to check on the pizza, the manager said "so what" when I asked him about my order and the length of time it's taking to arrive and then he hung up on me. So second chance, my husband called about the order a couple of days later and the same manager apologized and said he would make it right. My husband called today to see what they were going to do for us and it was 50% off our order. To me, that's not much of an effort to win our business. So this will be the last order. I heard about this place and decided to give it a shot because they were cheap. You get what you pay for. I got two large pies with 2 toppings each and they were bad. I will say that the sausage is good though...and that's about it. Bad, thin and chewy crust, God awful sauce, grease for cheese. I consider myself a pizza connoisseur. This place rocks. It is a take out delivery joint. Nothing is in excess. It is small simple, to the point, letting its menu, and particularly its pizzas, to be the star of the show. The pizza doesn't come with shortage of toppings or cheese, and the crust is crisp, crunchy, and sturdy enough to compliment the pizza toppings without it being burnt or hard to eat. It is the perfect balance. There signature pizza sauce isn't too sweet like some can tend to be, and speaking about price, I believe that you are definitely paying for excellent product without paying too much! This place is great. If you want something a little better than your average fast food pizza this is definitely the place to go. The pizza is only slightly higher priced than say, Papa Johns, but the quality is great. If you pickup the pizza is ready on time and comes out decently quick. Ordered a pizza. The sauce is quite flavorful and good. The pizza dough, while bread like and flavorful, is a bit too chewy, and is akin to chewing a piece of leather. Aside from the deflated dough, the pizza wasn't terrible, but it wasn't exceptional either. The flavor is a touch generic and lacks kick. Prices are a touch on the high side. read more

o.k this was our first time ordering pizza from these guys I think the pizza was o.k. but service horrible I had my teenage son sign the credit card receipt upon delivery and the driver filled in a $4.00 tip. I called and spoke with the manager of the business and he was sooo rude told me my son filled it in. So I disputed it with my bank. I told him this was our first and last experience with them will NEVER eat at this place again. He could have avoided the situation and credited my account back. I was gonna forget about it but the audacity of the manager to be rude about the situation and take his drivers side was very suprising.
