We were the only diners in the restaurant at the time, so it may not reflect the usual atmosphere. However, the food was excellent--deeply flavorful, well-spiced, and very filling. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, making the experience feel warm and unhurried. Overall, a satisfying meal that stood out for both its flavors and service.

This is definitely my favorite Indian food I've had in SF. I definitely need to try wayyyy more but compared to some of the fancier spots I've been to (Rooh, Amber), this place just tastes more authentic and is so delicious! I love the butter chicken, naan, and mango lassi and I look forward to trying the paneer soon. Also the service is great, staff is so friendly, and there's great casual vibes. I definitely recommend, I see a lot of locals there despite it being Haight street (touristy sometimes). Check it out!

Samosa's! In the midst of shopping on Haight street, I walked by Om Indian Cuisine, stopped by really quick and ordered; - Samosa's: so yummy! Plentiful and filled. Not too oily. And comes with two sauces. I do wish the sauces were more flavorful. 5/5 stars Overall, staff are super friendly. Good amount of seating and yummy food!

After a quick shopping trip around the Haight, my bf and I decided to come here for an early dinner. It was pretty quiet inside, but that was probably because it was 5pm. The Bollywood music videos on the TVs helped liven everything up. My only complaint is the faint sewage smell if you sit in the front room, the back room is a little better. One thing I noticed right away is how good the service is. We sat at a table in the front room and my bf asked to have the seat further from the door since he didn't bring a jacket. Immediately, our server let us know that the back room was warmer and that she could seat us there instead. It was just a small detail that started the meal on a good note. We ordered the vegetable pakora, paratha, dal makhani, butter chicken, and basmati rice. They brought us some papadums on the house to start, and it was my first time trying this. The light and crispy cracker was so flavorful and the variety of dipping sauces it came with were good. The butter chicken and rice was so good, the chicken was tender and the sauce was rich and comforting. The paratha was good as a butter chicken delivery system as well. The veggie pakora was a huge portion, and it was so crispy and I really liked the flavor of the chickpea batter. It was not an expensive meal at all for 2 people, around $50 before tip with leftovers to take home. I'd definitely come back here the next time I'm in the area!

Great food and good service. They had plenty of vegetarian and gluten free options as well.

It's been awhile since we were last here & so my tastebuds were craving for some good eats. We ordered the same thing as last time, butterchicken, Salmon tandoori, buttered naan & basmati rice. This time we decided to order Mango Lassi & it was delicious! We received papadum, crispy lentil wafers with 3 unique sauces which are very flavorful. Everything is soo good. The butter chicken, my favorite is soo savory especially with naan. The succulent tandoori salmon is a must! On our next visit I want to order new items, being set on mulligatawny soup & eggplant fritters. As for service- pleasant, very welcoming & attentive. I also wanted to mention our last visit, we ordered chicken Tikka masala & it is divine! And again next visit, we'll try other delicious goodies!

Talk about getting blown away at Dinner. Hands down the best meal I have had all year. I went to Om last night party of 6 and everything was exquisite. The flavors and quality of our meal was amazing. This has to be the best Indian food in the City. I will be definitely going back.

Soooooooooooooo yummy!!!! Can I put emojis in this post? They always have space available to sit, and their service is prompt. You can tell it's good when you see Indian uncles coming to eat Indian food here. Love it!

This place has amazing service and make you feel very welcome! Quiet and nice ambiance so you don't feel crowded and rushed to eat the amazing flavorful food! Would highly recommend coming to eat here especially when you want to avoid the busy haight street!

"Authentic" is one of those words that gets thrown around in reviews of ethnic restaurants without…read moremuch thought behind it. People use it to mean tasty, or familiar, or just different from a chain. That's not what I mean when I use it. To me, authentic means the food isn't pretending to be something it's not, that the flavors and intention come from a real place: heritage, roots, memory. My benchmark is simple. When someone who grew up eating this food says it tastes like home, that's the review that matters. That's the one I trust. Keeva earns that word. Rita is the heart of it, but Keeva is a family labor of love and you feel that from the moment you walk in. When the restaurant first opened she told us about the dream they had to bring the taste of home to the people of San Francisco, and you could feel it. Her kids were often playing in the restaurant when we'd stop by. That kind of detail tells you everything about what this place is. What made me a regular wasn't just the food, which is delicious, it was Rita coming to every table, checking in, teasing us about why she hadn't seen us in a while, steering you toward something you hadn't tried yet. She didn't do this selectively for certain customers. She did it for everyone. That kind of warmth is rare, and it's the whole reason eating out is worth doing in the first place. The dishes are made with intention. You can taste the difference between food that was assembled and food that was cooked with purpose. Keeva is the latter. And if you ask for spicy, prepare yourself. I used to live about a block away and this was my go-to. Moving out of the Inner Richmond meant leaving Keeva behind, and I genuinely miss it. If you're in the neighborhood, what are you waiting for? If you're not, it's worth the trip!

The paneer butter masala was finger-licking delicious, and the naans were fresh and soft--they didn't even get chewy when cold. The chaats are a delight, especially the onion kachori chaat. The absolute highlight, however, was the dessert that shares the restaurant's name: Jalebi. Fried in ghee with real saffron and made fresh to order, it is the most delicious jalebi I've tasted in the whole of the USA. The hosts are a lovely couple running a family-owned business, and they truly have a calling for hospitality. When we visited right around closing time, they were still running around for hungry customers. Even when they had to turn a group away at the door, the wife immediately offered to pack food to go, bringing smiles to everyone's faces. She always finds a way to serve her customers. We really enjoyed our meal and hope to return soon!

For food we got the following: -Dahi Sev Puri - this was my favorite dish, really fun to eat and great flavors. -Chole Bhature - this was also great! The puffy bread was sooo delicious and the chickpeas were perfectly seasoned and delicious. -Bhel Puri - this dish was unique and was a good size portion, but not as flavorful as the other two dishes. It felt like eating a savory rice crispy cereal, but not in a bad way :P -Garlic Naan - pretty decent but nothing special -Jalebi - I was really excited to try this dessert. I looooved the texture (crunchy outside, with a gooey inside) but the actual flavor was not my favorite. To me, it tasted very similar to chlorinated water, and it was hard to get past that.. There was a different jalebi with a dipping sauce, and I wonder if that would have been better. They were out of it when we went, but I would try it again with that. Overall a really great restaurant, and definitely a place to try out if you're wanting a more unique Indian dining experience!
