This is my 5-6th time trying this place and I can say they're consistent at one thing only. Disappointing me. Delivery took an hour and a half. Late delivery is the start of the 1 star. The Puttenesca tasted bland. The garlic sauce they use tasted old. I ordered extra cheese. They forgot the cheese. The crust is tasteless. The chicken wings, mild with blue cheese was really bad. The chicken wings are small and they tasted boiled or microwaved. The sauce is sporadically put on the wings, so areas with no sauce where you can see the boiled looking meat. Get the garlic chicken pizza! It's amazing. It has the perfect blend of toppings: garlic, chicken, red onions, cilantro, tomatoes. It's pretty up there in regards to the pizzas that I have tried! My sis said the pepperoni pizza we ordered was just okay. The spaghetti and meatballs is another one to try and for only $6. It comes with 2 big balls! Oh my! :) and the sauce had a nice spice. First of all its important to note that this location is listed as a $ but the prices should put it in the $$ category. This was my first visit and it is technically a Pizza place but I wanted Lasagna. I must tell you, I was disappointed with it completely. The price was fine and it came with some average garlic bread but plenty of it. The pasta had a Chef Boy R Dee texture like it came from a can. The sauce tasted like it wasn't fresh either The food was hot but the cheese looked like it had been cooked in a microwave. I also order the garlic rolls or puffs that were ok but not something I would come back for. This place might have decent Pizza but I don't trust it because I was so disappointed with the Lasagna. 2 stars is the best I could give. Recommended by my boyfriend for dinner, I ordered the Brooklyn special and buffalo wings. Expecting a greasy mess which I'm fondly acquainted to whenever I get pizza, I was pleasantly surprised how little excess oil there was. All the veggies, including green peppers and olives, were fresh and tasted similar to the fresh veggie crunch from Costco supreme pizza. The sausage had a good mix of spice and had the perfect mild spicy level that an old woman like me can handle. The buffalo wings were a little above my usual spice tolerance but damn was it good drenched in ranch (gods true gift to this world). When I called in for a couple slices of the Omars special and a calzone, they told me they ran out of the special and only had pepperoni jalapeño and cheese. Quick tips: 1. Don't order your pizza from them go some where else. 2. They raised their prices quite a bit since my original review. 3. Additional toppings are $2. 4. They have a new customers 10% off discount through the Eat24 app. 5. Buy using eat24 to save $2 on the regular. They send out coupons and give out coupon codes on Twitter for use! This pizza place used to be awesome. The pizza was amazingly good and even the calzones were excellent. Something changed at some point over the last two years. The pizza quality seems to be less and less good with fewer toppings and more emphasis on skimping. If you order through Eat24 there is no way to add a pizza half and half on the app, instead you're supposed to put it in the special instructions. For example, if you're buying a White Stone pizza and want the other half to be Sweet and Spicy (jalapeños, pepperoni, and pineapple) then you just type in the little box half xyz pizza. When buying pizza this way, be honest and buy the more expensive half as the whole pizza otherwise it's a douchey move on your part that could get extra charges tacked on. Given how I felt about their pizza in my last review, why the sudden reversal to a 1 star? Well, their delivery and order accuracy is so inconsistent that you can almost always expect that something will be screwed up in your order. This review is against the restaurant not Eat24. Eat24 has been aces and provides us with exceptional customer service so we're good. Today, we ordered a pizza through Eat24 at 3:30 PM and the estimated delivery time was 4:15 PM. After 4:15 PM rolled around, we realized that the restaurant never updated our status and it still said the pizza was cooking. We quickly asked for an update through Eat24's order status and they were really quick to update us and told us that the restaurant said our food was out for delivery. After waiting for another 20 minutes we asked eat24 to help us find out where our food is. While talking with the Eat24 support guy, our pizza was delivered! Although late we were super hungry and ready to dig in, when we realized that Omar's messed up our pizza by not making it to the specifications listed. Our pizza we ordered was an Omar's Special w/ the special instructions as: "half sweet and spicy pizza. Canadian bacon on both sides." Now when we paid for our order we ordered specifically the more expensive half of the pizza so they wouldn't say oh you guys are gaming the system. The Omar's special is $19.99, the sweet and spicy is $18.99. We ticked and paid $2 for our extra toppings. Instead we received a Half Omar's special with half Hawaiian pizza and Canadian bacon added as a half topping on the Omar's special side. They didn't even double up the Hawaiian side as if they misread it or something. Then they had the nerve to downplay their mistake to the eat24 staff. They made it seem like they weren't missing two additional toppings on the half side of the pizza and that our issue with receiving a Hawaiian Pizza half was minor since the pizzas were similar. Yo we paid for full price for our additional topping, we should at least get a double Canadian bacon on the Hawaiian side and single half Canadian bacon on the Omar's special side of you really misread and made a mistake. This is also not the first time this has happened. In a previous time, we made a similar half and half order and they only put a half Canadian bacon order on one side of the pizza despite paying for the topping to be on both sides. Iirc the order instruction was: half sweet and spicy. Canadian bacon throughout. They took that to mean skimp on the other half and just put it on the sweet and spicy. Really dishonest. I will never order from Omar's again because they are awful at making sure your order is correct. read more

I've lived in Arcadia my whole life and never tried this place until last night. It was delicious! Fresh, hot, NOT BURNT pizza. The crust was super delicious fluffy and crispy. We got the sweet and spicy pizza and chicken strips. Both were delicious. Chicken strips were exactly how I hoped they tasted, flavorful and juicy! This will definitely be my new pizza spot. Way better than any of the pizza co's around here and reasonably priced! They have a ton of specialty pizzas and pastas and sandwiches (hot and cold)! Made a delivery order...1.5 hrs and nothing. Ordered half BBQ chicken and half Omar's special + 10 pcs bone in buffalo wings. Pizza came and there was no sign or taste of BBQ sauce on pizza. Paired with 10 pieces of boneless buffalo. Called to tell them and manager offered to send a new pizza, but clearly said twice that he was "pretty sure" he put BBQ sauce. Implying I was lying or perhaps I didnt know how BBQ sauce tasted like. Don't need to give backhanded replacements if you're going to repeatedly tell your customer you did put it. Then I tell him they gave me boneless buffalo instead and he said they were out of wings and insisted his driver called me 3 times to confirm but somehow, I did not receive a single call. So instead, they just took it upon themselves to give me boneless and driver didn't mention anything when delivering. Anyway, I was prepared to just move forward and waited for my replacement pizza. When it arrived, it still did not have much BBQ sauce and this time it's missing cilantro. Come on Omar, really? To the owner, Omar, I visited your store over 3yrs ago and I loved it for its true NY style thin crust pizza. However, in the last year or so, the pizza just hasn't been the same. The crust got thicker, gummier, & at times, a little undercooked. But I kept coming because I just love pizza and supporting local small businesses. Plus, you're a cool guy. I visited last Saturday, 1/28/17, when a pizza maker named Omar (haha) opened the store. Here's my review: PLEASE CONTINUE TO FOLLOW HIS RECIPE STYLE. He honestly brought the pizza to how well it was 3yrs ago. I took the first bite and my eyes lit up. It was, thin, crispy, light, and foldable as a NY style pizza slice should be, holding up the toppings like a champ. I asked him if he was new but it turns out he's only there on the days I don't visit - Friday, Saturday, Sunday. ****Whoever else is back there making the pies from Mon-Thurs, please have Omar train them.****Your sign outside says, "NY style pizza," & Omar delivers on that statement. Want people coming back and buzzing enough to bring others? His pie making skills = great pizza = happy customers. I believe in you guys so I'm hoping we can keep it consistent :) The fortune is in the details. This place use to be one of my favorite places to eat! But as of today this has place has officially pissed me off! I had ordered a Brooklyn style pizza. It took Way over an hour to get and when the driver got here he had my meet him at the front of my apartment complex. (I'll get to that part again) then we received the pizza all torn up! All the topping had moved off the pizza like they held it sideways. We called the restaurant and the employee was really rude and then I asked to speak to the manager.. Then employee then said "ugh... Like he left already.." What the F*ck kind of answer is that. They then offered to make another pizza which came in 30 minutes. I just moved back to this good ole neighborhood and invited a couple ole friends over for the fight. My buddy Michael R. thought of Omar's. The worst decision of 2016 was to call Omar's Pizzeria. He ended up ordering a large pie with wings about a good hour prior to the main event. 45 minutes passes by we thought Omar's was busy since it was fight night. An additional 30 minutes passes by and straight to phone he went. Michael spoke to whoever that was working that night and he said the delivery guy was out to us. Wow first time trying this pizza after my girlfriend said to give it a shot. One of the worst pizza experiences ever! The first pizza all the topping had moved over to one said and the second pizza was smash on one side! Bummer.. Cause this cost $30 for a pizza that took over a hour and a half to get for it to look all ugly then they at least sent a second for free. That's cool but then we get it and it was smashed! But it was weird they asked of the remaining other half of the pizza back lol and looked upset when I said we ate some.. Dude this took almost two hours to get here! I haven't came back for awhile, but I was craving some Pasta and Pizza. I was pretty disappointed to find out that they couldn'y deliver to my location, but that was not a big problem. What's upsetting is that they rasied their prices, which would be completely fine if the quality of their food was still good. Baked Ziti came cold in the center and burnt on the top and bottom, I'm almost positive it was refrigerated and just thrown into the oven to be heated. The Meatball size used to be 2 Huge Balls, but now its about half the size. So disappointing The pizza was just about the same, its hard to mess up on a pizza. Sadly this used to be great portions for a reasonable price, but its just over priced and not worth it anymore. We tried the hawaiian and some sausage/pepperoni combination. While it wasn't exactly fresh, it was pretty good! Honestly, I came in to Omar's without any expectations. Clean mind, clean palette. I didn't think much of it as it was just a small pizzeria with a few different pizzas and salads on display. However, don't give up just yet. I got to try a few different pre-made toppings and some hot wings and I'm glad to say I was not disappointed in any way. 1. Omar's Special: think of fat cut sausages, pepperoni, mushrooms sprinkled with garlic. The garlic really brings out all the flavoring of the sausages. This one here is a hefty one. Even with the thin crust, you'll be left feeling full and meaty. 2. Puttanesca: this was my least favorite although it had all the right ingredients. Artichokes, basil, mushrooms, garlic and... lots and lots of olives. I mostly didn't enjoy this one because of the overwhelming amount of olives on top. It was almost as if I were eating simply an olive pizza. Not my ideal topping. Pass. 3. The Chef's special: It indeed was quite special. It's simple yet diverse in it's flavors. Fresh tomatoes, oregano and parmesan. The tomatoes were so plump it was a great alternative to having red sauce on a pizza! 4. Wings. 10 wings. 2 people. Done deal. I saw them freshly frying a batch of wings to order so it's piping hot and crunchy when you get them. Although I'm a fan of hot foods, the spiciness level on the "hot" wings weren't as hot as expected. Let's see how "suicide" goes next time! Overall, the pizzas here are great. Not the best, but for having pizza by the slice, this place is a real winner. My suggestion is to just gather a few friends and buying a fresh whole pizza.
