Called Omars they had pastrami, we ordered and we were on our way..The place was empty. We waited 5 minutes and it was ready. Took our pizza to go. Pizza was just ok. Crust was thin. Needed more cheese, had marinara which made it sweet. Im just use to mustard drizzle. Wasn't a fan, but would want to have it my way. Might give it another try if i order a thicker crust. Omar's used to be the best pizza in town. NO MORE! The mushroom, olive, pepperoni pizza had hardly any pepperoni and almost no mushrooms. It was heavy on canned slice olives and tasted like cardboard. We also ordered an Italian salad that had fresh romaine lettuce and that's about all except for a few very grey sliced tomatoes. Just finished my kpop dance class around the evening and I was super hungry and craving for pizza. First time trying Omar's because it is close to where I was. I ordered a slice of regular cheese pizza, waited only 5 mins, and I got myself a hot, cheesy, thin crusted crunchy NY style pizza! Very satisfying:) Parking on the street was not difficult at all. Interior is clean and spacious with TV, a good spot to have a quick bite. I think the only "imperfection" was the limited choice of pizza slices in the evening, I think only 3 types of pizza slices were available at the time I went. But it didn't really matter to me! We chose to try Omar's for the first time for the Yelp Big Night In event to support a local business and it was a good choice! We ordered a cold hero sandwich, a hot hero sandwich with mayo, mozzarella sticks and some fries. Overall the food was good. Sandwiches had a nice favor, especially when you add the dressing they give you on the side! The portions are huge! It's a great deal for the price...for example, the mozzarella sticks are 6 for like $3.50! And the sandwiches are large and are under $9...so it's a good deal. We used Uber Eats and it came fast! We had our food in about 40-45 mins I'd say. I am giving 4 stars because the sandwiches were identical...they both had mayo on them and really couldn't tell a difference btwn the "hot" one and "cold" one. They also could've used just a tad more meat on them. Not a big deal at all...it was still good and we would definitely order from them again! read more

What you see is what you get, there is no mystery here. Just a mom and pop place with okay pizza and good service. I had the lunch special and the sauce had a great oregeno flavor and the dough was a little floppy but tasted ok. Would I come back here again? This is an underrated place in Arcadia. The pizza is very delicious with a NY style pizza. The sauce and bread is awesome. I think we got Omar's special pizza which had garlic bits on the pizza and it was amazing. The service is like a normal pizza place, with a tough nose intimidated owner, but as long as you understand it's the NY personality, then you know it comes from the right place. The ambiance could use a little upkeep, but don't let that deter you from ordering. We've been here countless of times, and I will continue to order for another countless amount of times. read more

Ordered a 1/2 mushroom and 1/2 pepperoni and mushroom pizza for pick up. It was ready on time and I picked it up no problem. Opened up the box when I got home and the pizza was wrong. 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 pepperoni and mushroom. I called and when I spoke the to employee he said he showed me the pizza before I left and I said it was okay. I was never showed the pizza and I don't appreciate being called a liar. I did not get upset or raise my voice. I told the employee that I will never order a pizza from them again and hung up the phone. I've been ordering pizza from Omar's for years and truly enjoy it. Their pastrami is my fav. Their cheese pizza can be better but I just LOVE their pastrami pizza. They also offer half/half, which I love. Be sure to order the same price if you decide half/half. They don't tell you but if you order a half of lower priced pizza and a half of higher priced pizza, your whole pizza will be costing you the higher priced pizza. Called to ask about prices, first time ordering from here and wants to know if it was different than Grub Hub prices which I prefer not to use. I don't know who I spoke to, a male, but he don't have answers. I went ahead and started to place an order to find out how it compared to GH.... It was the same price but then my husband decided in the background that he wanted to go with a closer pizza place...so I apologized and said we would be going elsewhere and CLICK he hung up the phone mid-apology. One of the best pizza spots in the SGV! Seriously, their pizza is one of a kind. So is everything else I've gotten. Garlic bread, garlic knots, wings, oh, and let's not forget the chocolate chip cookies! Last time I got pepperoni with fresh basil and it was soooo good. I also like that Omar's stays open a little later than some of the other spots since I usually eat dinner late. I'm happy to make the drive from Duarte for some Omar's. Crust all around is so hard, dry and powdery. First time ever got a brunt pizza delivered! Restaurant who pack and think it's okay for their customer that worries me. Well I gave it a shot. Pics and reviews were really good but maybe I caught them on an off day? To start $60.00 with tip for a medium pizza and 12 wings. Pizza: toppings were pepperoni, sausage, onion, olives. Ton of sauce dripping off the slice that was paper thin that also included the topping falling into the box. Hahaha!! I've been eating Omar's since they were in the shopping center on the Monrovia/Arcadia border and Omar would deliver the pizzas. Things change, location, ownership, even the pizza a little bit, but to me it's still excellent NY style pizza. If you want consistency go to a place where they stamp out the dough, put it in an oven with a timer, and use canned everything. Otherwise expect a good thin crust pizza to vary a little from time to time. In all the years I've never had a bad pizza here. My go-to is the Bronx special, add mushrooms. read more
