I've been meaning to write this review for months, but kept forgetting until now, since we're returning to Ocean City next week. We were looking for a different place for breakfast, and walked by Omega Eats. There were some law officers inside, which is always a good sign. Turned out that the owner, Kozmas Gikurias, had opened the restaurant that day for free breakfasts and lunches for law enforcement. What a generous man. Still, we were welcomed to dine there. We enjoyed an absolutely delicious breakfast, and the hospitality was wonderful. Our server, Carolyn, was a delight. Kozmas came by the table and welcomed us. He explained that they made everything fresh. He was so friendly, and to top off our meals, he treated us to some authentic Greek yogurt -- unlike anything we've had before. We can't wait to return! This was truly one of the best breakfasts we've had in O.C., and that's saying a lot, because there are many excellent restaurants. I can't recommend this place enough. Awful absolutely awful. We waited longer than expected only to be greeted with a very negative and unfriendly waitress. After putting in our orders, we were waiting 20 minutes just for water. When we reminded her, she said "yeah I know" in a negative tone. We were so annoyed, we left and I downloaded yelp purely to write this review. Avoid at all costs. There was also no sound absorbing material anywhere so you could hear every single person talking. Also they let in a (not service) dog while everyone is eating. read more

The place is very cute and clean with a decidedly Greek vibe menu. The quality of our breakfast was amazing. Tips are the breakfast potatoes and a breakfast sandwich... Especially if you get it on a bagel. One thing I will note is that my friend is vegan, and there are zero actual vegan options on this menu, unless you order something like oatmeal. The other issue is that when she asked for a substitution, there are almost 0 substitutions at this restaurant. The server went into a detailed explanation about the fact that some of the orders are prepared on the sandwich side of the kitchen and some of the orders are prepared on the kitchen side of the kitchen. If the items you are asking to substitute are from the same side of the kitchen, then it might be possible... but that is probably pretty rare. The food is great quality, the service is fine, and the price is high, but that is what is expected at any breakfast place in Ocean City. Would return, but vegan options are limited. read more

Ate here for brunch and it was good!!! Ordered my daughter two scrambled eggs, those were ok. They weren't very scrambled. More like they were cracked into a pan and smooshed around a bit and made into an egg pancake. Her French toast was good. I ordered the avocado toast which has poached eggs on top, it was good but the eggs Benedict looked better at a nearby table. It was crazy busy but food was brought with no syrup for the French toast or salt and pepper brought to the table and took a bit to get sorted. But, my mimosa was done by perfect! Would definitely eat here again to try more items. Bar was long and decent too. We had about a thirty minute wait at 11am as it was first come first serve. read more

I don't know why this place has such low reviews, everything was delicious! Very fresh, natural ingredients. I ordered orange juice and it was fresh squeezed! The OMEGA pancakes were delicious, and the service was great! I highly recommend giving this place a try! read more

Great little find. Very Clean, Food was amazing, we came during the afternoon and opted for the breakfast menu. All fresh ingredients made from scratch , Avocado Toast and Greek omelette were delicious. Excellent home fries, They serve Rise Up coffee, a great local bean. Very friendly and helpful staff. We came back for breakfast the next day. My wife went for the Avocado toast again and I did the Homemade Creamed Chipped Beef. Delish! read more

We.stopped for a late breakfast on a Sunday morning. What a wonderful and filling way to start our day. i tried the breakfast skillet which is a full breakfast meal in a skillet. Lots of great home fries covering the bottom, topped with delicious sausage, cheese and an egg. it was so much, I couldn'tg finish it. My husband chose a grilled Greek-style chicken sandwich saying he loved it, especially the taste of lemon and oregano. Would definitely have it again. Friendly staff and colorful murals added to the comfortable atmosphere for us. They also deserve an A+ for clean facilities. read more

By far the best breakfast in ocean city. Great creamed chipped beef and pancakes.Omelettes are 3 eggs and delicious. The best rise up organic coffee in city .Parking is really good. Omg this was the best breakfast we've had in a long time. We meant to try on every trip down and finally made it today. This will be our new fave. I had almond ricotta toast, hubby had Greek pancakes, and sister had a Maryland crab omelet. Each meal was better than the next. Do not miss this spot in OCMD. Just arrived with a group of friends to ocean city and found this establishment based on the reviews to have good food and good service. Upon arrival and seated, took over 45 mins to receive our complimentary water, forgot about our orange juice and ice tea. After an hour of waiting, our food comes out cold and bland. Four of us ordered eggs and were probably the worst eggs we all had-tasted flavorless and like a burnt frying pan. Despite this we stayed and ate our meal only to have the waitress with a firm aggressive manner usher us off when we finished. Do not waste your time or money here. read more

My friends and I have a philosophy where we go in any place with 0 expectations and yet, we were still wildly disappointed. The only thing that kept our spirits up was the hilarity of the depressed wait staff. They perfectly positioned the busser in the middle of the restaurant to bring down the entire mood of the place. I mean this guy was sad. He was probably so upset that he couldn't get a single piece of toast bc the chefs aren't trained to use a toaster yet. Amazing and surprising great tasting food! Among all the same boring over priced board walk type food, this eatery has authentic homemade Greek goodies. Cage free egg omelets with Maryland crab, home made spanokopita with tender spinach and freshly baked filo dough, home made eggplant melitzanosalata and hummus. Many dishes with EVOO! Owner is super pleasant and came by to check on us! He has gone out of the way to import Greek stones and other construction materials to make this restaurant a real gem! Everything my husband and I have ordered is absolutely delicious! Homemade too! My husband loves the creamed chipped beef made from scratch. I try various items including their specialties. Always yummy. We came across this restaurant in October 2021 while looking for breakfast and we came back every morning during our stay. We were back in OCMD for the Fireman's convention in June 2022 and went there for breakfast 3 more times. Fresh and tasty food for the soul. Friendly people and pleasant atmosphere. We were actually headed to another breakfast place but stopped here and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is only about 5 months old and the place is immaculate. The Greek stonework and murals were beautiful. There was no wait, I assume because it is fairly new. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. The Greek-tinged seasoning in the home fries made them the best I have ever had, literally. The pancakes were light and fluffy and the French toast was as well. All in all a great experience. I love this place! The food is great and the service is awesome! I was in this restaurant yesterday Sunday 8/20. When a table of six came in and was completely rude to the staff. They had a small dog with them they claimed to be a (service dog) as we all know service dogs sit on the floor not on your lap. They took it upon themselves to pull another table over out of another section. Their server went above and beyond to be pleasant to this group of people when they were completely rude to her. Which is completely wrong taking from another server. Servers make their money by their tables. Just FYI the food was amazing and my potatoes were phenomena! Stopped in for breakfast. I had the western omelette and my husband had the gyro omelette. We both enjoyed our breakfasts; the western omelette was very cheesy and my husband loved the tzatziki sauce on top of his gyro omelette. The home fries were also very good. Everything was freshly made. We loved that they gave you a pot of coffee for the table. The pot holds a lot of coffee. We felt like it was a bottomless pot.
