Good food, great Greek salads. It can be really crowded at times, so plan ahead if you are in a hurry or have a large group.

Not worth ordering for pick up when they can't even get your order right and this is the second time in a row that they messed up. Dinning in is better then ordering. upon entering the eatery i noticed the decor has not changed since i was 12 im now 21. very classy joint. i suggest the clam chowder the strawberry cheesecake. and the spaghetti 2.00 extra for the meatballs but still worth it. costed 18 dollars for 2 people very big portions. staff is very friendly coming here again for sure. read more

Well, I was not impressed. Once again, there's just something being lost in the translation from menu to plate. Touted as one of the best "Greek" restaurants in the city the Greek style lamb chops left something to be desired. It was like they allowed a child to butcher the animal. They seasoned them way to much and only one of the chops was actually medium (how i ordered it). My friend did, however, order Breakfast and it was honestly delicious. My fourth time here, and so far everything that I've ordered was really good. Tonight they had a chicken and rice soup (Sunday only) and it was phenomenal I had two cups lol. There bread and butter that comes with every meal is loved by me and my kids. The Greek pork chops are a must and the portion is huge enough for two people for sure. Also had the Mexican style skirt steak with rice and beans. Very pleased with the food and the service they also have a full bar and beautiful display of cakes and pies. Had the red velvet tonight and it was moist and tasty. Will definitely come back next Sunday for the soup it's a must if you happen to be there on Sunday. read more

The last time I went the bathrooms were so dirty. The waiting wasn't too long. The food was very pricey. I ordered shrimp scampi. & I don't know how you might know the plate but from every other place I've been to its pasta topped with shrimp. Well, in Omegas my $12 dish was nothing more than a few pieces of shrimp on a tiny sauce dish. That was all! It came with soup as a starter. Boy was I disappointed! Then for dessert I ordered a strawberry short cake. & received a regular, dry piece of white cake that had artificial strawberry jelly in the middle. Luckily our server was not something we were disappointed about. She was very very nice. She had them make me angel hair pasta and fixed it up with the shrimp. It was 7 of us. I came here today to buy a cake with my dad and the lady who was at the front desk was extremely rude. Not only did she refer to my dad as "grandpa," mind you we do not know her, but we later found what seems to be a mosquito in the cake. My dad, found this very disrespectful. Worst cheeseburger I've had in a long time. Straight forward order, wasn't a jerk to the waitress, so in no way does this reflect her service. The omega burger was drier then a AA meeting, the bun was STALE! Like throw it on the ground to play hockey friggin hard! A little stale I could see, but they thought, "hmmm, I'll grill the staleness out!" Nope that didn't work either guys! I've been coming here for over 15+ years and it's my go to restaurant. The food is excellent and the portions are big and decently priced. The only downside is since the management changed a few years ago the food hasn't been as great as it was before (hence the 4 stars) but overall still my favorite place to eat in Milwaukee. read more

We went there about 9:30 last night. Not very crowded, and the floors were filthy with trash and food. It turned our stomachs to see that. We should have left and gone next door to Zebbs. Waitresses were sitting at a table near kitchen just gabbing and talking on their phones. Aren't they supposed to clean the floors with a carpet sweeper? Food was okay. Greeter/cashier is surly, the carpeting in dining area is filthy and the food is too high priced. Go elsewhere. We were not made to feel welcome at all and we will never return to Omega. Since the new owners took over it will not be our "go to" restaurant when in Milwaukee after tonight. When you are greeted as if you are bothering them and they never ask how the meals were or thank you for coming in, it's time to find another restaurant where they appreciate your business. Last meal at Omega was early this morning. Every week I go to Omega. My tips are 40% of the tab. The same host sits me week after week. I always ask for a table. Tonight he was going to sit me at a booth; I "remind" him that I always get a table. He sits me next to a table of 6. Waitress service is intermittent. After my food arrives, I never see her, even though she said she would re-fill my drink. Never comes back to check on me. I wait and wait and wait for my check. It finally arrives with an apology coupled with an excuse--too busy bringing out food to the 6-top! When I bring it to the host's attention, he says that the waitress was too busy with the 6-top. NOTE: HE IS THE ONE WHO PUT ME NEAR THE 6-TOP! Apparently, the wait staff are not trained to help out one another. He asks, "What do you want me to do?" I say, "Nothing, I want to pay the bill." No more words are exchanged. So, now I'm looking for a new diner to get an early morning breakfast. No need to fill the cash coffers of this restaurant. Ideas are welcome! read more

The waiter who served us was very friendly! Also, our food came quickly, and correct (it did taste good). However, I wasn't impressed by the smoke (we may have been seated too close to the smoking section). Unfortunately, that was a big turn off for me because I am a non-smoker. My Husband and I would eat here alot, but some of the waitresses have poor customer attitudes. I went to omega Saturday, February 18th 2017 and ordered a New York strip steak dinner. It took 30 minutes to even be noticed. After I placed my order and was brought my bread and soup, I was never offered a refill or asked if all was well or anything. After waiting so long for my steak dinner, it finally arrived. When I received the steak dinner, it was cold. I tried one mushroom and took exactly one bite of a fried onion ring and they both were cold, so I went to the front desk and complained about it. The waitress then took the plate and went to her bus station. About 15 minutes later, the lady came back with the same reheated steak. I felt like I deserved another steak, not a reheated one, and it was their fault it came to me cold. After I refused to eat or pay for the reheated steak but offered to pay for the soup, bread, and one cup of Sierra Mist I drank, I was told to never come to Omega again by the guy named George. I was serviced poorly and was banned because I received the poor service.. Or at least I feel that way. read more
