I was told by my friend that this is a Mom and Pop place so when we were needing breakfast we decided to check this place out over the chain restaurant nearby. I gotta say, none of the food looks spectacular but trust me when I say it tastes much better than it looks. Hubby wasn't impressed but that's ok. We all decided to get omelettes. Grits come with the omelettes but you can exchange them for hashbrowns with a $.75 upcharge (which hubby did). You can also get the grits either on your plate (like our friend did) or in a bowl (like I did). I'm glad I got mine in a bowl because I don't like grits and am not sure what to do to them to make them taste better. But that's ok because I was too full to eat any of them anyway. The omelette also comes with a choice of bread, either wheat, white, raisin, and another variety of toast, or a bagel. I got the bagel and the guys got the raisin toast (which was the normal kind you can get at the store). I didn't get to try my bagel as I got full very quickly but I brought it home with me. It looked like a basic one though. I got the Seafood Omelette with grits because I was feeling adventurous. I really and honestly wasn't sure I'd like it but I really wanted to try it and I'm so glad I did. It tasted awesome! I highly recommend it. Our friend got the House Omelette and it was simple but good as well. Hubby got the chicken omelette but he changed his cheese to Cheddar, which I wouldn't recommend. I personally couldn't taste anything but the cheese until he broke his open and I could snag a few pieces of chicken by themselves. The chicken was tasty and seemed like it had been cooked in a sweet teriyaki sauce (which doesn't make sense for a diner but that's what it reminded me of). Hubby and I also got hot chocolates which were small but affordable. They also came with a dollop of thick, whipped cream on top that taste like it was home made more so than anything out of a can. I really enjoyed it. Loved: - Chicken Omelette - Hot Chocolate - Seafood Omelette Liked: - House Omelette - Raisin Toast Disliked: - Grits - Hashbrowns

Omelette cafe is wonderful for breakfast and for lunch! Great options and great service and the price is even more acceptable. Glad I can go to Rincon and get such amazing food with such an amazing atmosphere. Great find!!

Quick service. Got the chicken omelette And the chicken is so cheap and rubbery. The omelette falls apart as soon as u dig in. Cheese I suppose to hold it together.

Won't be eating here again. They got a 14 (U) on there health inspection only 5 days after getting a 48 (U) on the health inspection. Avoid like the Plague! Note: For some odd reason the score on the health department recently changed from a 14 to a 23 (which is still absolutely horrible)

The food was really great and the service wasn't too bad either. The inside could use a facelift. Maybe add a little more character.

Average food, basically a huddle house type place. They do make a mean homemade hamburger that is huge. I recommend you try it.

I arrived at Biggby just before 6am and settled in for a solid two hours, staying warm, enjoying my coffee, and catching up on writing Yelp reviews. It was the kind of slow, steady start that makes the rest of the day feel more manageable. The baristas were a lively bunch, moving with that early‑morning energy that keeps a place humming. They did a great job keeping the coffee flowing as customers cycled through. The drive‑through never seemed to pause for more than a moment, and every so often a few people wandered inside to warm up and grab their drinks. All in all, it was a very pleasant morning, the sort of stop that makes an early start worthwhile. I will happily return to Biggby for their consistently great coffee. I was not entirely sure what a "waffle pop" would turn out to be, but I ended up with two of them in an order, freshly made and topped with one fruit and one sauce of choice. Getting bananas with blueberry sauce was a good choice, one of many I expect. My strawberry matcha with boba was compromised by them running out of strawberry boba, but the regular tapioca balls did just fine soaked in a robustly flavored beverage. Their donut selection was appealing, but I simply did not have room. It would be tough to get out of there without getting a ton of sugar, and this place did not seem to have a ton for the more niche special dietary needs. However, it did have a lot of interesting messaging as a community space, with resources directed towards military families in particular, which moves me to look favorably on the place. And their stuff is delicious.

It was not at all what I expected in a strip mall near a chain hotel. What a cheerful place, the walls yellow, the windows decorated with big bright suns, the menu boards artfully illustrated, kitchy motivational signs everywhere. I was greeted with a geniality matching the overall vibe by a woman whom it was apparent was the owner. I complimented her on the name "Sunny Summers". She told me it was named after her two daughters. There was a young girl working with her so I asked her if she was Sunny or Summer. She didn't say anything. As it turned out she was neither - just an unrelated employee. I had only come in for a cup of coffee but I saw the donuts and couldn't resist. Many of them were outrageous sugar bombs - and beautiful to look at. But I settled on a more sedate cinnamon-sugar. Glad I did. It was fried to order then dusted with the topping and served not in a bag but in a cute box sized just right for the single. So when I ate it in the car 5 minutes later it was still warm, and fresh as can be. Does she always do this or was it because I arrived just after opening? Unsure, but it was a spectacularly good donut. The coffee, too, was excellent. Strong, no bitterness or sourness, and from a local independent roaster. The other foods mostly fit in the category of sweet indulgences: donuts with crazy toppings, "waffle pops", french toast. A few lunch items like panini. The burger offering was made with pancakes rather than the traditional bun! Now a few words about the proprietor. I was astonished by her outfit that left little to the imagination. At 7 in the morning! It was hard to keep my eyes where they belonged but I managed! (Sorry, I have no photos, for obvious reasons.) I realized later, when I did more research on the place, that this was part of her shtick, playing off her reputation as retired professional wrestler Lacey Evans. Before that she was in the Marine Corps serving in the military police force. An interesting choice of careers for sure. There's a board with prepaid receipts that the less-fortunate can use to get food. That's great. I wish I had known about it when I was there, not later during my research. I would definitely have prepaid a meal. Also, discounts for military and first responders. Not necessarily how I would do things but I know her intentions were good. The world needs more places like this. So a plea to anyone reading this: You may not be able to give up your Dunkin and Starbucks completely, as I have. But just try it for a month, or even a week: next time you need a fix check Google or Yelp for independent coffee shops, try something different, even if you have to go a little out of your way. You may just discover a new favorite hangout.

They do offer a military discount, which was a nice bonus, and you can purchase food throughout the park to feed different animals. My daughter's favorite part was getting to feed the monkeys -- such a fun hands-on experience for kids. There are so many opportunities to interact with the animals up close and really enjoy the experience. The Siberian tigers were HUGE and absolutely beautiful. They also had giraffes and so many other animals that we honestly didn't even get to see everything in one trip, so we'll definitely be back. They also offer a truck tour around the property, plus there's a playground area for the kids to enjoy. It does get pretty crowded, so I definitely recommend going early, but parking was plentiful. If you have children and you're looking for a fun family-friendly experience near Charleston, I highly recommend checking out Bee City Zoo.

I will start by saying all the animals appeared to me (non-animal professional in any way) to be healthy. In general the whole place just seemed a bit ignored as far as being maintained often. In the reptile room many of the enclosures had wallpaper peeling off, information that had been written on the glass was scratched/wiped off, and it overall didn't look very well kept. Some of the monkey's had lots of space and and some just had small, mostly concrete, metal cage enclosures to move around in. The bigger animals (tigers, camel, giraffes, etc) also had considerably small enclosures for the size animal they were. The penguin's and otters' little pools were barely filled with any water so swimming wasn't an option if they wanted (it was a pretty hot day) and had gross water. They weren't big enough pools for you to convince me they can't be drained and cleaned regularly. The penguins and otters also had lots of concrete for their habitat. The lack of enrichment was also really disappointing to see for most all the animals. It seemed like the patrons were the only enrichment most of them got to look forward too. Maybe this is a bit ridiculous but it annoyed me that Christmas music played at the excavator activity...its March. Again to me just a lack of attention to details. Overall it seems like they are trying to do the things for the animals but at a very bare minimum standard. The gift shop seemed to have the most investment into it of the entire park. Do better for these animals please, most of them, as your signs indicated, are endangered.

She made several apologies ...understood... BUT... and this is my problem especially if you have worked on tips and it's not a normal service day... even if the kitchen is backed up - at least keep the contact with your table, water glass and coffee cup filled.. and before we start to defend the service she had 3 tables at the most and we had to ask several times IF we even saw her on the floor... for coffee or water. At times she would just walk by and not even make an attempt to check. Look I get it and I'm not here to bash but when you are spending $$ the wait is easier if you have a full drink and some interaction with the staff. (I don't need to be baby sat) Here's what hurts... we have frequented ABE for over 10 years starting in PCB. After an hour of sitting, the food finally rolled out. The beignets were doughy on the inside. The crab cake Benedict was soggy... the potato's were lukewarm, the grits were good not going to beat everything up and when we could get coffee it was great... I watched her other tables (because I had Plenty of time while staying engaged with my people) and it was obvious they were having the same experience. OK the bail out... will we go back "yes" probably not on a holiday... LOL. It could have been a bad day for her... it could be she's new.. based on their standards... overall for me it was disappointing and not the best experience... what's redeeming is when the mother of your children is gracious and forgiving...

Open only until 2:00 PM, if you're looking for breakfast, brunch or lunch, this is the place to be. Arriving at just about noon, the place was packed, but not unpleasantly so, with customers that quickly moved through the ordering process, past the register, and to the ample seating, of their own choosing (with limited outdoor seating available; but not preferable at the time, due to the spotty showers that also choose to attend). Beverages are provided as payment is being made, leaving no thirst unquenched. Needless to say, seating is immediate. With a cup of rich, flavorful, house blend coffee in hand, my daughter, Son in Law, and I found a seat with a great view of the market activities happening outside only moments before our meals were served. The Italian Panini, chock full of succulent mildly spicy meats and lettuce, covered proportionately with dressing (yes, I was given my own bite size sample) , was my daughter's choice; a visually appealing (although not personally sampled) breakfast platter was the pick of the day for my Son in Law; and, Salmon BLT, composed of one thick, juicy piece of salmon, bursting with flavor, accented by a slice of smokey bacon atop a crisp bed of lettuce, slathered in a mild, but tasty, mustard based sauce, between two halves of a soft , flakey, croissant that more than rivaled the size of an average hamburger bun, was my choice. It did not disappoint. At just under $45.00, before tip, all of this seemed like a bargain. If there could be a downside to this experience, and I would say there couldn't be, it would be that, when visiting Savanah, choosing the place to eat jus became a bit more difficult, with Goose Feathers now in contention.

Foxy Loxy delivers a phenomenal coffee shop experience. Not only is the coffee top-notch (and for 9 out of 10 people, it will be some of the best coffee they have all year), but in the interest of full transparency for my fellow coffee nerds, if you're the type of person who judges extraction ratios, roast profiles, and espresso technique above all else, you may also want to check out Franklin's or Origin Coffee while you're in Savannah. I say that not as criticism of Foxy Loxy, because I absolutely love this place and visit regularly, but as someone who considers himself a true coffee-shop enthusiast, I think it's only fair to give fellow coffee lovers the complete picture. For me, Foxy Loxy wins because it combines very good coffee with an outstanding atmosphere, making it one of the most enjoyable coffee shop experiences in the city. The atmosphere is exactly what you hope to find in a cool downtown coffee shop. Whether you're working inside, grabbing a seat upstairs on the second level, or hanging out in the back courtyard (my personal favorite spot), Foxy Loxy has you covered. There's plenty of seating, great food and drink options (their tacos and chips and queso are amazing), and an outdoor patio that offers tons of shade from both umbrellas and mature trees. They even have a really cool water feature and regularly host wine nights and campfire events that make the place feel more like a community gathering spot than just a coffee shop. This is truly one of Savannah's gems and absolutely worth a visit. On the coffee side, one of my personal favorites is a cortado with horchata. That said, I've yet to find a bad choice on the menu. No matter what you order, you're probably going to leave happy. Pro tip: If you're spending some time there and want to explore afterward, head out the front door, take a left, and keep walking until you reach Forsyth Park, one of Savannah's most iconic destinations. If you found this review helpful, give it a like. I hope you enjoy Foxy Loxy as much as I do.
