First time trying out OMG Donuts. The young lady at the counter was nice and explained a few things for us regarding why the boxes on the menu were numbered. The shelves were well stocked for a Sunday afternoon so we were able to try out quite a few different flavors of donuts. We brought our box home and I tried part of the strawberry shortcake donut which was really good as well as a bite of the apple fritter, also yummy. I then went for a taste of the chocolate covered Bavarian cream filled, and well....she didn't fill it. It was just the donut NO FILLING. This should never happen at a donut shop. I mean, isn't that part of the process on a filled donut? While the donut itself was good I cannot comment on the filling. (And this kind is my favorite donut) We did get four of these in total so I hope the others are filled) The storefront is nice. It has a few tables inside to enjoy a donut and coffee if you'd like. It was clean and like I said we had plenty of donuts to choose from but I have heard they sell out from time to time.

Donuts were great! Light, airy and not overly sweet. Employees answered questions when asked and had an efficient method of keeping customer traffic flowing smoothly. I enjoyed all the donut flavors I tried but blueberry was a personal favorite. I also tried the apple fritter which was fried to perfection, however it was a little too sweet for me. I would definitely return.

Heading out of Charlotte and I was looking for a treat to take on the road. Super cute doughnut shop. I had the Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Strawberry Shortcake filled with Vanilla Cream. Both were amazing but the Strawberry Shortcake tasted just like the ice cream from the ice cream truck. And the chai latte with oak milk was great as well! The ladies in there were friendly and service was quick. Highly recommend!

For some reason it has become a family tradition to find a good donuts shop whenever we are traveling. So I scouted this place out. We arrived at about 6:30 AM and we're greeted with warm smiles and friendly faces. Then there were the visual of these amazing donuts. We were a group of 5 so we decided on a dozen. Each person selected 2 of the ones that they wanted, then we selected as a group 2 more we could all taste. The donuts were fresh, flavorful and the combinations were great. They helped us start the hours long drive that we had ahead and it was great. I will say the prices were a bit astonishing. The menu has a breakdown that forces you to read. Because there are levels to an assortment based on the kinds of donuts you get. What makes it a bit unfair is once you select the combinations you are at the top tier price, so there is no adjustment made when you throw in plain or basic donuts with it. This dozen donuts was $30.00 which is a bit pricey. But single donuts were as high as $3.00. I will say the work they do to create such art is what you are paying for. So enjoy !

After visiting my cousin and before heading to the beach, we made a visit to this unique donut shop called OMG. It was a clean, colorful, cozy place with friendly and helpful staff. There were so many variety of donuts such as pineapple fritter, apple fritter, maple bacon, red velvet and MTO stuffed filling donuts in which you have 5 flavors to choose from. They have delicious lattes, beverages and surprisingly offer Vietnamese iced coffee too. We will definitely make another visit in the near future. What a great gem and a highlight of our trip.

This place is a hidden gem. Ironically it is hidden in a location that is easy to miss near Concord Mills. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable when I had questions. They have donut selections that are different from the average. You have to try the maple bacon. I didnt think I would like it, but it's now one of my favorites. The apple fritters are huge and a favorite as well. They open early am and close early. They sell out fast. I was informed that they bake fresh daily and once they sell out they don't make more for the day. Great selections and a must try!

Great donuts! I had the maple glazed donut. It was the last one in the case at the time I came around 10 am. I thought to myself this must be really good to be almost gone. Delish! Went here based on friends recommendation and yes it was phenomenal you can hear the crunch in Apple fritter... the strawberry shortcake with vanilla filling whoa! And yes, the maple bacon is a must try it's sweet,savory salty and chewy not one complaint with this place. However, I did not try coffee I may next time since they brew pure intentions... the team was friendly and prices were decent considering quality a half dozen is about $11-12 with simple/specialty & dozen is about $21 read more

Pretty yummy donuts ! I came on a rainy Saturday afternoon and I just knew the would be closed because they ran out of donuts but to my surprise they were open. I was immediately greeted by a sweet young lady. As I thought, most of the selection for the day had been sold but I was able to get some donuts. I like the donuts but they are a little too thick for my liking. The concept is cute though and the icings are good. I think everyone should at least try it once. read more

My husband really wanted a fluffy raspberry filled frosted donut. I read the reviews and called and the staff was really nice. In person the shop is really pretty inside and the owner Mia was very sweet. The donuts are the best I have had in all of Charlotte. The apple fritters are delicious too. If you like fluffy donuts they are super fresh this is the place to go. I drove 25 minutes each way and my husband loved his donut too! read more

HOLY SHIT! When I say these donuts are THEE BOMB??! They are Huge... Soft.... Light... Airy... and have absolutely NO Greasy aftertaste! NONE! ZERO! OMG! I bought 18 donuts for $24. I took 12 to the office. all i heard was OMG.... OMG... The other 6 were for the house but only 2 actually survived the trip back home soooo... yeah. I suggest you put these in the trunk or else they may not make it to their destination. You've been warned! The fat girl inside of me wishes OMG! would stay open later in the evenings. That would prevent me from eating Dunkin Donuts. But I declare that I will never eat Duck Donuts again! (Krispy Kreme was never an option) read more

Terrible management! Allegedly ran out of doughnuts on national doughnut day! If anything you don't close down the store for the rest of the day! You close for maybe a hour to bake more doughnuts then you open back up! This is what happens when you let high schoolers operate and run your business you get these type of results! -Do better read more

Let me start by saying that I have been a huge fan of OMG donuts. My husband has brought me their donuts and I have always been blown away. With that being said I was extremely disappointed to hear how the owner handled a large order placed by our school PTO. We ordered and paid for 21 dozen donuts in advance. Upon arrival for pickup the owner stated that she had not received an order. However, our order was written up on a dry erase board in the store. She also had our check in her posession. Then she admitted that she had forgotten. However, she stated that she could not give us the donuts in her case because they were for her customers for the day. So we asked for the check back. Ultimately she gave us some of her higher priced donuts but less than the 21 dozen ordered with no refund of any monies. At that point we had to go to Duncan Donuts to fulfill the rest of the order which cost us additional money. As a school PTO we are a non-profit and have very limited funds. This was an extremely disappointing experience. In my opinion, this is not good customer service. I think the owner could have done more to make this situation right. read more

I LOVE OMG donuts!!!!! They have fluffiest and lightest donuts. When you walk inside you're always greeted warmly. They have such a wide variety and assortment of donuts, there is literally an option for everyone. There is also a good variety of fillings for the donuts from lemon to raspberry, you can choose what you're in the mood for that day. I personally enjoy their glazed donut the best, but have had others and they are just as yummy. The maple bacon comes at a close second, but they do run out sometimes. read more

OMG is right!! I had no idea this place existed until today...not sure it's a good thing either lol. I was coming out of a side road and spotted this place across the street...what a find! You walk in and it smells like a true bakery, with racks of fresh baked donuts on display. They have a large variety of flavors, but my favorite was you can pick your own fillings and they fill them right there for you! I will definitely be back! read more

My husband and I were vacationing in North Carolina and we decided to try this bakery for the first time. This bakery was OUT of This World Delicious! So good that I made a joke to the young lady behind the counter that if they are as good as they look, my husband and I would return after we finished our trip to IFLY. Not only did we return that day but the next Saturday morning as well. The next time you are in Charlotte North Carolina, you have to try this bakery. Fresh, moist, fluffy and HUGE!! They really are OMG donuts. They are big and fluffy and have the best toppings. We had the Apple fritter - with chunks of apples and the maple bacon donut. So good. The kids got glazed and glazed with chocolate and sprinkles. They literally said "OMG" in first bite. read more

I have had two separate trips to OMG since I initially reviewed them (at different times on different days) and I'm happy to report that the mediocrity of that initial visit seems to have been a fluke. Service has been quick and painless, there have been plenty of delicious donuts to choose from and they are quickly becoming one of my favorite donut destinations, if not my new number one! read more

It's Almost Perfect…read more I've been wanting to try The Donut House's fully customized donuts for ages, but it seems like every time I drive by, they're closed. Apparently, they often sell out and close early. So I was thrilled to finally get my hands on them today after so much anticipation. The donuts themselves are fantastic: huge, fresh, and incredibly fluffy with a perfect, not-too-sweet texture. However the fillings didn't quite hit the mark for me. They all were too tangy and heavy. The chocolate cream filling was sour, and the raspberry tasted rather stodgy, nothing like the light, sweet jelly from Krispy Kreme. At $14.99 for a half-dozen, there are fillings galore to choose from, which is great, but it might take some experimenting to find the right one for me. They also offer coffee, bubble teas, and a "wall of goodies" that looks intriguing On the bright side, the service was terrific! The young lady behind the counter made sure my sister and I had a very positive experience, and the place was spotlessly clean. Even though they were getting ready to close, we never felt rushed.. Despite the filling disappointments, I'd definitely go back to try some different options - I'd love to find my perfect custom donut, and how lucky I am to have found a place that may facilitate that, right here in Kannapolis.

I'm writing this review because we recently learned that a gift certificate we gifted as a holiday present expired. I wasn't aware it had a time limit, if I had know I would've thought twice about gifting from this establishment. It's embarrassing for us to give a gift that was ultimately unusable. I understand running a small business is challenging, but I wish I would've at least been made aware of their gift card policy in advance.

The strawberry flavor itself was pretty subtle, but the crème was light and airy, and the pastry shell had a great crisp to it. Yet, once I walked in, I remembered why I loved this place. Everything is made fresh that morning and then again multiple times a day to ensure everyone has the best experience. Follow them on Instagram where they post what is on the menu for each day. They have a pastry/baked goods counter where they have cinnamon roll cheesecake, strawberry tres leches, as well as classics like tiramisu and cannolis, and an array of fresh baked breads. On the opposite wall of the counter, they have freezers with take-and-bake dinners in oven-safe containers. I think I even saw containers of clam sauce that you can add to your pasta dishes. There was a lot in there, and I wish I had spent more time looking through it, but I didn't want to keep the freezers open for too long. It would probably help to have them listed somewhere where we could read through it. I'm glad I found Leo's. Those cheese steak eggrolls were AMAZING!

I did get a few pictures of the mason jar ones though, and they are definitely over-the-top and loaded. Even with the regular version, my shake was really good--super thick, rich, and a lot to get through. I made it a little over halfway before I was done. It was about $9, which feels pretty reasonable for the portion and quality you're getting. My niece had the cookie crumble, her friend got the banana pudding, and my sister had butter pecan in a waffle cone. Everyone enjoyed theirs--no complaints at all. The space itself is really cute. It's very kid-friendly and family-friendly, but honestly, it would make a fun little date night stop too. Just know going in--you can definitely share because the portions are heavy. That be the only thing I wouldn't order again.
