I guess I'm going against all the other reviews, but I really enjoyed this place. Yes, it looks every other restaurant on the strip. They have someone trying to convience you to come in. They have buy one drink get one free (you can share this deal). Great music Good Hookah Really good food And free shots for bridal parties... yes free shots! Came here twice and both times the staff and food was great. Service is a little slow but who cares, you're in miami, enjoy the weather and the view of the ocean. read more

I actually liked this place a lot. I got the happy hour pina colada which was 2 for 1. They were very good. And HUGE. I also got the curry chicken entree and a side house salad off the brunch special menu. The city was like $9 and was well seasoned, light and very good. Not sure what everyone's complaints are, but I'll tell you this, if you're going to bitch about being charged the gratuity, and paying a little more for your drinks and or food, 7th Street (in the thick of everything) on Ocean Drive isn't for you. You can eat at pita pit down the street on Collins. I thought the food was excellent, I thought the service was amazing, the servers were gorgeous! Both Felicia and Kaya were absolutely beautiful! Shrimp tacos very basic. Small shrimp, iceberg lettuce, diced tomatoes. Wouldn't recommend eating here due to the overpriced and underwhelming food. Well my first bad review ever. The food was food. Had the burger and calamari. Nothing to write home about but a burger (although not an $18 one) The problem was that there was a table that was acting like Jersey Shore with girls screening at each other (fighting) guys swearing repeatedly and people coming in off the street who knew them who were also in this fight. But that it was beside the hostess stand with the manager (in a peach or something top) standing there doing nothing while people with kids had to listen. Then they brought out a dog and had it try to drink from a glass on the table. It hit pulled the glass off the table and smashed all over the ground. When I brought it up to the server she just said yeah sorry and that was the same thing the manager said then walked away. Absolute embarrassment of an establishment and manager. It's very hard to find great, attentive, helpful, intuitive servers/service on South Beach. The day has come in which I have experienced such outstanding service. Thank you Ms E. Judit. We ordered the Seafood Grill which is advertised to feed two however if you are hungry or have a decent appetite it will truly feed one. With two people eating one meal you feel like you get a little sample of everything versus dinner. We also ordered the whole Fried Snapper meal. All the food was adequate in preparation and taste and provided the nutrition required. I ordered a mango martini but returned it because it was too sweet. Judit was very understanding and prompt with responding to this issue. We went on a Sunday around 8:00pm and they had 2/1 drinks and 20% off. If you ever go to this place ask for Ms E Judit. She makes it worth your while. I can't give it four or five stars because there was nothing special about the food, ambiance or the drinks. read more

Like most places on Ocean Drive, we were approached with the BOGO free drinks special so we stopped and stayed for a drink. The drinks are huge, strong and expensive ($35). Our server also gave us two free shots. They have hookah for $25 which is good, however they charged us $12 just to change the coal. Seriously? $12 for one piece of coal? One drink, a hookah, a piece of coal and automatic service fee that all of Miami seems to charge was $95. Other than that, it's a pretty nice spot. Right in the middle of all the action and right on Ocean Drive so it's perfect to get drunk, chill, people watch and watch tourists drive around in a circle in rented expensive cars all night. read more

We stopped here for breakfast so I cannot speak for dinner. I ordered the Miami special which was large, delicious, and very reasonably priced for South Beach. The french toast and fruit salad were great and probably the highlights of the meal. Unfortunately the service was pretty bad. Our server was very polite and charming but she went missing for extended periods of time. As in we got 0 drink refills ($3 for a coffee in a tiny glass means I definitely wanted more than one) and after we were done eating we waited an hour for her to come back so we could ask for our checks. The 20 % gratuity is already tacked on so I'm pretty sure they just don't care if you are waiting forever. The ambiance and food was really nice though so if you have time stop on in for breakfast! The food prices are a lot better for breakfast than for dinner. If we didn't spend 2.5-3 hours here with a forced 20% tip I'd probably have given this little cafe 4 or 5 stars. read more

Came here for some breakfast and literally encountered the rudest server in the world. She told us we couldn't change our egg style although they told us "any style" and she never once check on us or refilled our waters. We had to pretty much get up about five times and do things for our self. She also had us get out of the patio to come inside because we were getting complimentary breakfast from the hotel inside of it. Her name was Cecilia and I was insanely unpleased with her! Food was good, small portion but good. My server was sweet and Patient. My boyfriend does not drink alcohol so he ordered a non alcoholic frozen slushy. Our server did not advise us of the price which was $19. So of course one we received the bill we wanted to speak with a manager regarding the inflated flavored ice price. We waited ten minutes and she informed us that he would be coming. He finally came from out the restaurant and we watched her tell him we were waiting, nonchalantly he brushed her off and stood around the front just waiting for us to leave. We asked another Gentleman did he worked there, clearly he did but He just did not want to deal with our issues. The management here at this restaurant is THE WORST IVE ENCOUNTERED. they have no respect for black people but yet we are the ones giving them all the money to keep their doors open. I don't care how satisfying the food may have been, I WILL NOT STEP FOOT IN HERE AGAIN OR RECOMMEND ANYONE ELSE TO BECAUSE OF HOW WE WERE TREATED. If I could give it zero stars I would. First we were charged $1 for "bottled" water that was clearly just tap water being refilled in glass bottles. How do I know, you may ask? Because all bottles were presented with the lid off and ours said sparkling but contained flat water, how ironic. Next we ordered and our server never wrote anything down. Moments later she came back to double check that I wanted my burger well done, even though I'd ordered medium. My burger arrived with cold soggy fries (I'd asked for extra crispy) and cooked well done & without bacon. I asked for fresh fries which took my entire meal to get after the server came back saying the cook said he sent more fries out, however they must've gone to someone else. The kicker was when the bill came. The total was written in with gratuity added even though the bill said gratuity was not included. When the server Anasstaya ran the credit card, she took it upon herself to WRITE THE TOTAL IN ON THE CREDIT CARD SLIP! That's fraud darling. What's funny is my friend and I work as management in the hospitality industry and she would have gotten a much larger tip as we generally tip 30-50%+ because we remember our days as servers living on tips alone. If you want subpar service & food, this is the spot for you. Buyer beware. read more

Thiefs....typical touristry eatery that make you sit and then rip you off for $25 for one well-drink. I would say avoid this place like plague even when they say "it is Happy Hour". $100 for 2 drinks and 2 mediocre appetizers....is equal to one star. Never let your hunger get the best of you before you can yelp a place. We were STARVING, and this was the first place we happened across. They said we'd get 2 for 1 drinks, a free round of shots, and 20% off the food. Here's what we actually got: 1. The "2 for 1" drinks are per person - you have to consume 2 drinks yourself. 2. The drinks are huge - a comically large glass. 3. The drinks are also comically weak. 4. We were promised free shots, but then told that was only an option before the meal, not after. (We waited until after eating to ask about them. WTF?) 5. And, the kicker. The large, weak drinks above? $25 each. Totally effing ridiculous. My wrap and mojito ended up being $40 after tax and tip! 6. It took them 1.5 hours to serve us a round of drinks and lunch. Seriously. Don't bother. We had the calamari, which zero character, but the margarita pizza and the linguini & shrimp we're absolutely tasteless and disappointing. I mean how can you possibly make margarita pizza with shredded & processed mozzarella cheese? Finally, the biggest rip off was there lie about the 2 for 1 "happy hour drink special"...be careful as it is per person regardless of what you say after the fact. Get your breakfast at South Beach, they have great deals. Apparently at the strip on Ocean Drive, every cafe and restaurants serve breakfast from 5am to 1pm. So while walking along there, we were lured for their breakfast specials. To the point, we ordered Spinach Omelette served with golden baked russet potatoes and hollandaise sauce, man it was great. Washed it down with Pineapple Orange juice. Service was fast and waitress attentive. We sat outside and ate our breakfast and was a nice spot to people watch. The atmosphere was very lively and that's an understatement for South Beach, no matter what time of the day the party is always on in this area. read more
