There are a ton of places to go on Ocean Drive in South Beach. After spending a lot of time here I know the following: 1.) Most breakfast places are $5.95, like everywhere. 2.) Most drinks are between $19.00-$25.00, clearly stated on the menu. 3.) Most places have a 2 for 1 special, happy hour! 4.) Always opt for the one with the best perks, like free mimosas! So, I'm a fan of On Ocean 7 because we played our cards right. We scored all of those deals mentioned above and had a totally positive experience here. We sat at a cute bench on the sidewalk near the misters and watched the people go by. It was bliss! We had two huge cocktails each, yes each! Toasted on the outside, melted cheese on the inside. Delish! I was glad that they didn't skimp on the grilled chicken, but more happy to see fresh guac and salsa, more than anything. HE: The hostess strongly recommended the curry chicken with rice, so that's what he got. I've probably tasted curry maybe twice in my entire life, so I don't have much to compare it to. Its right across the street from the beach and in a very popular area, so it is very nice to eat outside relax and people watch. We were a group of five, we were able to sit outside near a heater. Perfect Our server, Andres came over immediately with menus. He introduced himself and made us laugh. We felt we picked a great place to eat. He kindly explained the two for one deal, we ordered. While our drinks were being made he took our dinner selections. He was very friendly, which is a value asset in this industry. I strongly feel your happiness at work comes out in your sincere approach and demeanor. We all enjoyed the selection of drinks and food. During my meal, the waitress failed to check if perhaps I needed a refill on my cup of coffee, or a cup of water. Once I was done eating, waited a long while before I had to ask for the check. Genuinely awful place. Don't fall for the Happy Hour. They market it was 2 for 1 but it's PER PERSON, you can't split the drinks. Happy hour does not include the large drinks, only tiny mugs, and has restrictions if you sit on the sidewalk. Bill already includes a 20%, but they will ask you to tip again on the receipt. Service is awful and that's if you're lucky to get service at all. Definitely avoid this place. read more

The negative points of this Place is the terrible service and the cocktail we got was straight alcohol. We also experience Few messed up on our orders on top of that. This "restaurant" is a miserable experience. Other than their proximity to the ocean, they have nothing going for them. The food is subpar, the service is hectic and unorganized, and they are not friendly. I ordered oatmeal and my coworker ordered eggs and bacon. It took 45+ minutes to get our food and I had to let someone know. Then they had gotten the eggs wrong and forgotten part of the order. The manager came to explain to me why it was late and stated that it was because oatmeal takes a long time to make. I've made oatmeal before, and it didn't take 45 plus minutes to make. It also came out surprisingly quickly after we reminded them of our order. Then they were quick with the check...I guess they don't also make the paper from scratch. I had hoped that the food would be good here, unfortunately it was very mediocre. They did clean out tabletop well and bring us water quickly. However, the service afterwards was very bare minimum (and that's a stretch). Our server did not check back on us, a separate person brought our food (which may be normal here) I struggled to get our server's attention for a steak knife as well. Stumbled upon here while walking with my girlfriend down Ocean Drive. It was a rainy day so it's good that they had outdoor seating with a clear curtain to keep the rain away while we enjoyed lunch in the outdoors. We started with ceviche and she had the salmon salad while I had the seafood paella. All-in-all it was 3-stars. The ceviche was delicious but my paella didn't have much flavor unfortunately. It tasted very bland. Wouldn't recommend the paella but if I do come back here, I'm going to order something else from all the seafood options. read more

We decided to eat here based on the pleasant demeanor of the gentleman greeter. He was much nicer than the other very aggressive cafe ladies on the strip there. Th patio is really nice and while a little pricey as is everything in Miami Beach, I felt the price was fair for the quality compared to all the other places we ate at. The waitstaff was very attentive, the drinks were strong and a lovely photographer offers to take pictures for you (for a cost obvs). Overall a very pleasant dining experience.
