AMAZING!! Stopped in here before catching a train to NYC, so happy we found this place. The chicken and waffle sandwich was so good, I loved it. We had to bring the food to the train - even 30 mins after it being made it was amazing. I couldn't imagine having it fresh at the tables inside. As a craft beer fan, I am 1000% going back there because it is BYOB friendly. They also have a little station outside to latch your doggy leash too, with water bowls. We ordered a meatball pizza and cubano yesterday, and both were so good we ordered again tonight-- delivery both times. Last night was a little slower than today, but still damn quick delivery. As for the food, today's was better than yesterday's, but if yesterday was a bad day, it's still better than good. Pizza is not New Haven style, so as long as you don't expect that, you're good to go; it's thin crust and the toppings are imaginative and so far all fantastic (bonus points for crispy pepperoni on the Hannibal) Don't see many reviews for the subs, but the cubano I got both nights was one the best sandwiches I've had in this city. read more

I got delivery from here and I was so happy with my order! Minimum $15 order. I got a small The Goat ($13), which is pizza with asparagus, goat cheese and cranberry drizzle. I loved the combination for a meat-free pizza. The crust was perfect for me--not deathly thin like other new haven pizzas and not super thick either. certainly enough to fill you up after two slices! Then to meet the min order I also got the house salad which was a mesclun salad with candied pecans, cranberries and feta and came with a balsamic dressing ($7). Honestly, it was all delicious. Walked into One 6 Three and had the most energetic welcome by everyone behind the counter, my how friendly, now the question, will the pizza be any good. Good it was awesomely amazing. I ordered the mushroom and truffle oil pizza to go and i only wish i had ordered more. I live in Nee Jersey and i am often eating in NYC and by far the best tasting pizza Ive had in a long time. This place was fantastic! I am new to the area and the employees (and other customers) were so welcoming and helpful. I even had my Great Dane with me and the employees gave him so much love. Pizza is okay not bad but my only and biggest issue with this place is the cleanliness. They are not clean at all period. Cook doesn't wear gloves to make ready to eat sandwiches which I'm not comfortable with. It's CT law that gloves shall be used when preparing ready-to- eat food. read more

I came here for take out, but spent some time sitting in the restaurant waiting for my food to be done. First off, it is a really cute and quaint place in an area that doesn't have a ton of other restaurants in close walking distance. If you do plan on eating in, you probably want to go early as seating appeared very limited. I thought the pizza was ok. Half of it was my fault for getting a kind that I do not typically like (why did I do this..who knows‍). It's hard when the competition is so stiff in new haven for pizza. Overall I would say it is slightly above average. It did seem like a great neighborhood spot to come relax and have a decent enough bite of food. So, the food is probably 4 stars, yet the other aspects of the restaurant (+ some very kind and exceptionally nice service) is overall 5 stars for me! read more

Never again. Called in an order to eat at their outside tables - wouldn't let me order on the phone unless it's for take out. So, I walked to the restaurant, went to the counter - sign says not to order there unless it's take out. Sit first. I sat outside in part because that's where I wanted to sit but also, there were no seats available inside. Nobody came to serve me. I went back inside to request service and was told I had to order there in order to eat outside and that there wasn't any table service outside. I can't order on the phone and eat outside especially since you don't service the tables outside? This place has been in business for 2 years - and the owners have been in restaurants even longer. But they haven't figured out systems and customer service yet. read more

The service here is phenomenal! The decor is awesome also. Pizza was a bit more in the fluffy side I like it super thin, but either way it very good. The best part were the cheese curds , I've never had them but if I was to compare them I would say these are the best! It came with some sort of creamy buttermilk cilantro sause that I would drink straight up out the bottle. It was great. I really enjoyed the food and even the music they had some cool pop oldies like Backstreet boys and Britney Spears playing. I would definitely revisit soon. read more

Really cool neighborhood joint. The pizza is excellent. Especially if you're looking for something different. We had the the goat which was our favorite, asparagus, goat cheese, and I believe honey with a basil aioli. the king which was a very interesting mix of peanut butter and jelly on pizza. It was good but wouldn't have wanted more than a slice or 2. And the meatball was good. The crust on the pizza was really good. Crisp, thin (but not paper thin) with a soft inside. All the ingredients we had were high quality. The hush puppies were alright, and the bacon candy was thick slabs of candied bacon, I would recommend sharing a piece with someone. The place is really small so that might be the biggest drawback since there is only enough seating for 25ish people including their bar seating. It's BYOB! Big takeout business too. We've eaten at one 6 three 3 times since the pandemic began. The first two times were superb--attentive staff, seamless ordering and pick up process, great pizza. However, our most recent pick up was concerning on a number of levels. As I approached the pick up window I heard someone coughing. No big deal, people cough every now and then. But when I got to the window I saw that the cashier had his mask off, and was coughing loudly--again-- into his elbow. I am extremely disturbed by the blatant sickness and lack of precaution exemplified by this young man. I can only hope that my family and I didn't catch the virus on our third order which, by the way, was soggy on the bottom. read more

Excellent pizza. Cool, cozy decor. Did I say excellent pizza? Hands down better than Bar, Modern, Pepe's...Sit at the bar and view them in action. The deep fried Oreo is insane. Be prepared to come with your own booze. The staff is friendly and just cool. You want to hang out with them and help them clean the kitchen. I hesitate to write a review because we waited last night for more than an hour last night and I'm afraid they'll only get busier once the word gets out. But it's such a gem. read more

I wish I could give 3.5 stars; the food was tasty and the toppings were unique, but the service left something to be desired. They accidentally threw out our ticket and it wasn't until we had been there nearly 40 minutes that anyone finally came over to tell us what was wrong (and there are only 5 tables in the place). After a mistake like that you would expect them to offer to comp one of our two pizzas, or free drinks at the very least, but we got nothing. We only live just down the street and were looking forward to having a good pizza stop nearby but this experience has left me wondering if it's worth returning. I know they are new to town, but they need slightly better organization and customer service. I will say, once we finally got our food they had some of the best crust I've had in New Haven (it was real crust! Not a burned wafer like at Bar or Modern!) and we really enjoyed the totally original taste offered by the peanut butter and jelly pizza (the king). read more

I am still eating the fried Oreos as a write this and I'm almost in a catatonic state of bliss. I've been meaning to try this place for awhile, and finally placed an order for takeout today. The inside was really cute. Two kids were at the counter playing with dough and the family friendly atmosphere made me feel welcome immediately. This place is BYOB and I will definitely be back with friends for some apps and to take advantage of that! I got a personal sized pizza with ricotta. I usually don't get smaller pizzas because I feel like they never come out as good as their larger counterparts. This pizza was an exception for sure. The crust was perfectly thin and chewy, but not bogged down by grease at at all. The flavor was fantastic, none of that too sweet sauce many places have. And the Oreos!! Absolute perfection. Staff is really nice and friendly. Parking kind of stinks because it is at a busy intersection and it only offers street parking. Excellent neighborhood pizza spot. It's small but has a few outdoor tables. Loved being able to bring our own (outstanding) beer. Server was super friendly. The Caesar salad was excellent. There are a ton of creative pizza options in addition to fries/poutine with a variety of toppings, as well as subs. We had the Hannibal and it was outstanding- crispy and loaded with meat toppings. So happy that we found this place! My boyfriend and I went in on a Tuesday night and were immediately treated as family. Updating to 5 stars. They've improved a lot since opening. The wings have gotten a lot better, especially that sriracha honey garlic sauce. Yum! Some of the prices are weird, to the point where I almost thing it's a better value to order a personal pie. That may just be wrong anecdotal info though. I ordered a basic mozzarella pie as this is the standard I measure all pies by. It was excellent, as good as any in New Haven...but then again there are a number of pizza spots just as good.
